Never ceases to impress me how sui keeps improving her music as time goes, from still still stellar to overture to specter to starpeggio every album has been better then the last one, phonominal work.
Taku Inoue is one of my favorite producer/composer. I recommend you to listen to Yona Yona Journey by Mori, Denonbu's Toarutowa and Mani Mani, and Tekken 7's end credit theme Aloneness/The Long Goodbye. These are some of my favorite works of his 😁
Blackhole Dancehall is the rawest concept, title and song off this album. Igniter is good too, and IWFTN and Midnight Mission are honest to god bangers. Not a single miss on this album, even I prefer Starpeggio (the song) less just cause there's no vocal.
Happy to be starpegged by MGO. I don't have any favourite tracks though... It's like kaleidoscoping while I listen to the album, which I am doing right now for the 5th time or so. I love all of the tracks for different reasons. I may have the least fav track, which is an instrumental, the eponymous track, it just sounds unfinished to me: too short, too simple, too... generic or something. Or maybe I am just not in the mood now.
STARPEGGED LMFAO I wanna give it a week or two before giving a proper opinion but yeah like I said do wish it was longer but still very happy with what we got
Light the light and soliloquy gotta be my favs (taku inoue my beloved). as a suisei fan, this EP is way better than any solo project suisei has ever put out and inotac knows how to maximize suisei vocal.
Yup the songs are always on a bigger scale than suisei songs for me but suiseis solo stuff still has some obvious slappers like debunte ball (or however u spell it in romaji LMFAOO)
WHAT? Specter and Still Still Stellar are absolutely amazing albums and Debutante Ball is Suisei’s best song ever. I love MGO and InoTak but I still find her solo projects better overall. Starpeggio and Overture have better production because InoTak is goated but SSS and Specter have better Suisei vocals which is the reason I listen to her songs at least.
