I have such a funny memory involving MREs. My family got a bunch of them from Fema because our house in Galveston got flooded by a hurricane. My siblings and i were between the ages of 6-10, & we thought MREs were the coolest thing ever. We ended up moving a few hours away, & we brought the leftover MREs. My mom & her boyfriend were friends with an ex-military guy. He was amazed by how much we loved those MREs. Its such a fun memory for me.
