Agreed. Can be a good bottle but feeling like this is getting to be a money grab for their base Rendevous+port aged $80 bottle whiskey. And they released almost 190K bottles at $150??? What makes this "rare" or allocated anymore?@@Blackrobs734
Agree with you on Act 11. Tried it in Utah a month ago and loved it. Scored a bottle at MSRP. Delicious finished whiskey! iPhone video is fine, the audio is lacking.
I’ve looked at three different places here in OKC and everywhere is 250-300 bucks! I had really hoped to grab this one, but never for those kinds of prices…
I thought they were pushing it at $90. No way I would pay more than that, I just don’t think it’s that good to command the higher price.Especially being a lower proof, for that price it should at the very least be barrel proof. Cheers!🥃
Are you going to be able to shoot a review of 13th colony double oaked? It’s gotten so much praise, I’d love to hear your thoughts! It should be in your top 100!
Honestly wasn't impressed with this until I had it to the shoulder of the bottle a week later. The other hard part was the $150 price tag, is it good? Yes. Is it worth the price tag especially after huge production increase? I'd say it's $90 ar best
Is it much better than Act 10? My wife bought me the Act10 because she doesn't know much about it. I'm grateful for it, but several reviews were not to stellar about it.
Do you think the one good thing about to much whiskey is hopefully it will kill the secondary market and us bourbon enthusiast can get these bottles at SRP? 🤞
It's really strange to see this release have almost 150k bottles released and I haven't seen one at a store in three years.
At Costco’s in NorCal for $129.99
Update, walked into a total wine today and snagged at retail...
Cheapest bottle, I’ve seen is $179

For some reason just saw act 11 scene 1 bottles on the reserve shelf today. Some sort of prerelease for act 12? I grabbed one but 169 was an ouch.
Wow. These prices. In Canada it is $95 USD. I love this combination. The Angels Envy Rye in rum casks is good too

Glad I picked this bottle up. Looking forward to opening soon. Thanksgiving may be the perfect occasion to share this one. Great review Fred. Thanks
Just nabbed a bottle at Costco for $130. I understand the distillery is selling them for $125.
The only problem with MWND is that you never see it at msrp even though there are a lot of bottles out there. 😎🥃cheers Fred
Sorta reminded me of Christmas pudding (plum pudding).

Video looks way better, Fred. Much appreciated. Great review.
I heard the bottle count is about 180K, looking forward to cracking mine soon.
189,000

In 2022 they jumped it to $149.99
Cost is $110 this year, 10 up from last year and 40 up from 2021.
One of my favorite annual release whiskies... cheers! 🥃

I find that every bottle of HW improves with some air in the bottle. I typically open, take a pour and then wait a few weeks before going back to it.
I've passed since the price jump. Used to get it every chance I could up til then. More for everyone else.
What is the bottle min for your top 100?

Significantly better than act 10
That is RED!
Bought in the past. But, at close to $200 in Colorado, SO many other bottles come into play. I can live without this pour.

4:20 the truth. Way too many!
These companies need to slow their rolls. A 100% increase in price in one year is unacceptable. The economy is crap.
Upgrade! Good quality my dude 🤙
199 a bottle now. I paid 99.99 last year. It might be a pass
I paid $149, which is SRP I believe.
Blend for $199. You are correct that’s a definite pass
$199 is not MSRP
@@pesky716 here at Total Wine it is unfortunately
I paid 149 in Cherry Hill, NJ.
$125 here in Utah.
Enjoyed lasts act, but not a $200 bottle
U wearing an ascot? Bruh...
Perma pass at 150 and up.
Why? Buy one less other bottle and you’re good
@@MattD86 there will always be a better option than dram at 150+. I can get 2 ecbp c923 for that
Good video, but the audio is a down grade.
Sounds great but I’d never purchase again at 150 absolutely not worth it.
I have scene 3, act 11 I thought it was sour and flat
So the whiskey is good but did you need to change your pants 👖?
Not buying this year because of the price.
