Wouldn’t you want to add a little gloss clear coat on it so it does not get fadded again?

Thank you for the tutorial, very informative. I have a 2018 Lexus IS350 that I want to do this to. Will this affect the front sensors?

No. It won't affect the sensor. In my video you can see the sensor unit is behind the emblem. I only took out the emblem to polish it. The sensor is still attached to the car. If your emblem is the same design as my RC then you should be good.

Great video !! However you removed clear coating and you should add some back with duplicolor clear, you can polish it but the plastic is now weaker which means any rock chip and break it, I would have done all
Of this but I would add clear coat then polished it to give it that extra protection!! But that’s just me !! God bless you

Can I use this same process for headlights?

Yes. I learned this polish technique from restoring headlights. The steps are exactly the same.
