When you look at total revenue from this past year, Texas is 2nd overall behind Ohio State. 3 out of the top 5, 7 out of the top 10, and 11 of the top 20 schools ranked by total revenue are SEC. 14 of the SEC's 16 teams are Top 30. No one from the Big XII made the top 30. Texas won't try to run the SEC because they won't have to. The Big XII outside of Oklahoma was all dead weight siphoning off Texas's clout and earnings. Texas's stadium is 20,000 more than Oklahoma and 40,000 more than the 3rd largest stadium in the Big XII, Iowa State. In the SEC, Texas's 100,000+ stadium is 5th and Oklahoma's 80,000+ stadium is 9th.
