- I love Splatoon and Scrap Mechanic. So why not put them together? So I made a mod for Scrap Mechanic that allows for Splatoon-like battles, which is lots of fun. Probably one of the best multiplayer mods you can get for Scrap Mechanic.

Really funny that you used splatoon's music tracks as background music.
*Note the in splatoon 2; when you step in enemy's ink, you take up to 40-60damage and don't heal until your out of there ink.

Could you make a version of the gun for the portal mod with the different gels?
Orange speeds you up
Blue makes you bounce
White let's you shoot portals on it
and maybe the scrapped purple gel that let's you climb walls!
gels and painting blocks is very different.

Yes, but it's kinda complicated. Plus large splashes are really laggy.

It would be a fun gamemode to make deathmatch but the objective is to paint all the spawners on the map so the enemy has less places to spawn until it has none and can no longer spawn. You could balance it having to shoot various times to paint a spawner

Yeah, can confirm, the slowdown isn't enough. Currently I would compare the slow speed in the video to "walking through mud or 12 foot deep snow" when in the game, it's more like walking through sticky tar.

Apparently it also sprays UNDER your character, not just where you are shooting. So it makes sense why you move at snails pace.
I can change it easily, you also take damage, so you really don't wanna be there.

Splat mechanic
idea on how to set up a match:
Before the game master thingy is placed you can select the color of the spawners (the one spawner per color rule is dumb). Then place the game master. After that players can "claim" their spawner for the next match. When the match starts all players will be teleported to their spawn (only the players that have claimed a spawner) and their color will be locked to that of their spawner.
If the match ends the players will have to claim their spawns again and until the next match all players have all colors unlocked
or instead of placing and deleting the game master all the time use a logic signal on it to determine the setup stage

prio #1 would be to get ink regeneration fixed as it penalizes you for inking your opponents by leaving you without ink.
That's literally how it's done in splatoon...

SPLAT MEHANIC??? its like you go to Splatoon and instead of Inkling, spawns Mechanic and you splatted it (SOMEHOW bc we are resistant to fluids even ink)
