I would like to see you guys re-do some of the older challenges that actually did work great. Like the mini games on ice blocks, some more olympics, and of course more gliders. Perhaps a game of HORSE, 1UP, stunt challenge...
I was going to say, have each person make a maze/obstacles per an equal section of track. Allow them to spawn from the workshop or make before hand to add to the chaos.
I mean, that could work. But to argue semantics, the comment only said "A foot race", not an obstacle course or maze run. Normally you'd expect them to expound on the idea, but something like that is more of a Challenge Mode thing than a creative build. At least in my opinion, since challenges can be completed without the use of built vehicles.
Yeah I saw that point in the video I watched it about 100 times over It wasn't like1st time I thought it was the funniest I saw it not Thought I'm using my voice thing on my headphones so they don't listen that much to what I'm trying to say
Maybe land racing with concrete dispensers would make a fun multiplayer race. I mean, you could mess up the driving, lock the wheels, lock the steering, and even beach a vehicle if you place blocks on it's underside or beneath it. Bonus points for having low friction blocks on one part of the race which has an S-bend, and a portion which tries to launch the vehicle from ground level to somewhere higher up, and a block-stairway portion where you need to climb stairs and where you can place block to help you get up and/or to block the people behind you from getting up, have 3 normal laps and the end the last lap with a bonus section of the circuit where obstacles try to push you back.
@@Flooke_177 LMAO, can't say I blame you! Generator core corners can be found at the top of warehouses and aren't at all corners, they're curved. Four of them together makes a dome and eight of them together make a ball. A very big and absurdly heavy ball.
MM idea: No engine and wheel(any wheels or wheel-shaped materials like the vanilla wheels, barrels, haybales, etc.) but with glitch-engine(controller-powered suspension glitch) and wedge/block wheels race Edit: whoops! I meant suspension, not piston
Scrap Mechanics Multiplayer Monday idea: Scavenger hunt, where you go into a survival world each with a random block/item assigned and first to find it wins

You wouldn't have to build in the same world (but I'd hope you'd record your building and include it), allowing for a little more flexibility for group recording. 4 player car. Each person controls one wheel/tire. Each wheel/tire can move forward/reverse and turn left/right. Each person must make a single vehicle that will connect to the others. Then you all must run a course.
IK HOW TO FIX THE FLIER ONE!!! Concrete turrets aiming at a plane winner either has least blocks over a time frame or most time taken to get downed. Planes are quite weak and basic tho so tracking isnt too much of an issue.
i feel proud of myself for suggesting the mech walker race way back in 2017, granted it was really easy because the suggestion was on like, the 20th multiplayer monday video ever posted and there wasn't enough commenters for there to be any competition
idea: you find a very short challenge for Scrap Mechanic, then Trailmakers, then for games that you never even knew existed, slowly devolving into something just barely recognisable as "multiplayer monday" like customising weapons on Escape From Tarkov or something.
How about a suspension challenge? Rough ground ( cornfields, trees, rocks, steep gradients) using only pistons, sensors and suspension to make the best off-road self levelling suspension. First to finish wins.
Here's a challenge idea that, in my head sounds a bit dumb but could be interesting in practice. Mono-wheel race. Creating a one wheel bike for a race over the map. Standard rules, no glitches or thrusters. The wheel can't be wider than a seat.
Maybe re-do the bomb wheel glider vid, it's my favoruite of the scrap mechanic ones! Or, maybe a nomad challenge? Build nomad vehicles and judge them on effectiveness? Stuff like cost, resource capacity, harvesting capability, maybe even adding a second vehicle to harvest, or a defence against tape bots to spice it up?
You should do something with explosive launchers. Like, how far can you launch a nuke with it only exploding on landing. Or maybe player launchers using explosives. IDK somthing where stuff is launched and explosives used
mm idea:" all you got to do is follow the darn train" What you need to do is chase a train while shooting a multiple cardboard on top of the train. and 1 people will try to save the cardboard using a turret, the vehicle that chasing the train need to made out of cardboard. who ever survive the longest win Additional: you need to make the car and the train
Multiplayer Monday suggestion, stacked car racing: Everyone builds their own car. Then for the race cars are stacked on top of another other car, and the controls are rewired so the top car controls the steering on the bottom car. Thus the driver of the bottom car accelerates and brakes, whilst the driver of the top car steers. Obviously this gives interesting challenges in making the cars fit on top of each other properly, and keeping the stacked vehicle stable.
i've got an idea you can try... spinning bubblewrap ( certain points) where the float effect actually is distributed all around in an area it's spinning around.. perhaps making it stable and won't tip over ?
Do a triathlon: each of you have to do 3 vechicles: water, Road and let's say air. You swap those vechicles at checkpoints and have to finnish whole race in one go.
MM idea (probably quite difficult): Unpowered wheel challenge; only unpowered wheels can touch the ground. No thrusters, etc. You must propel yourself forward by snake-like slithering. Alternately, add periodic ridges to the ground that the wheels can roll against (wheels positioned by pistons, for example).
You should combine your " you draw it, and I build it series" and you multi player Monday videos. You guys can battle to see who built it better. Judging by accuracy to the drawing, functionality, and usability. I can only imagine the hilarity that would happen.
Multiplayer Monday: A race where your vehicle must be able to stop and throw your mechanic or your seat. You race to a certain spot, stop, throw your seat up a mountain or across a valley, and continue the race.
"One decade and 7 years and 6942 days of asking scrapman to do pogo stick glider with vacuum pump challenge thing last one still jumping wins (this is a joke)
MM Idea: Practice Range: You have targets. Half of them are non moving ones and the other half is moving ones. Non moving ones gives you 1 point while the moving ones gives you 2 points. Your objective is to destroy the targets and get as many points as possible. The one with the highest score wins.
MM challenge: Make parkour cars (like trials bikes, that can jump up ledges and over gaps and tight turning) and time trial them on an obstacle course. Or, do HORSE-style challenges for one another.
After the pogo race now i got the idea, hopes scrapman sees this idea. I call it "Piston Race Concrete block mixture" Each player had to place 5 piston in order to shoot the concrete block as defense or attacking opponents, but you cant use wheels, you need to use less friction block/bubble block or carboard box , and using piston momentum as the movements, the stages will just drag race, and piston power need to set at medium for the first round, in the 2nd rounds will be maxed, and the third rounds will be the lowest powers on all piston.
A foot race.. but build parkour pieces and mash them together. I’m envisioning a obstacle course built high up off the side of one of the tall hills/mountains and gotta maneuver by jumping and passing obstacles until the finish line.
multiplayer monday idea : 2 cars. 2 tracks. 1 driver. the driver will have to make two cars and do the rc glitch to connect the cars, there will be two tracks that are different and the first to get to the finish line is the winner
Would like to see you make a carboard box car that race's down hill with potato gun and flame turrets maybe have turrets have some sincers when carboard box car pass by to get shot up . up to you how long the race is and how many turrets you use and how big the car is and how many point's you get if you finish the races your job is to make it to the end second place gets points to if they makes it. Further than 3rd even if they get destroyed or to check point's also can make changes to car in between race add to or take away. Keep up the work guys I enjoy your videos not all of us get to do what we love so keep pushing out great content
Multiplayer Monday Idea: Not sure a proper video title for this idea, "World Series Build Off" Compete head to head over the course of several weeks with the same build that changes from week to week similar to evo. Perhaps week 1 would be a race, next week players start with the their own build but modify it for a different type of event, the next week players take their modified build and modify it some more. Perhaps best 5 out of 5, perhaps one episode per month with winner declared at end of the year. Players can only add to condition the vehicle is in and not subtract from the original build.
This is not a stupid idea (I think), but it requires much more than 15 minutes build time. Build a self-driving car in Main Assembly. It's probably doable both in Scrap Mechanic and Trailmakers but I think there are more options in Main Assembly. I built one that can do the "Around the mountain" race but it took many hours to get it to work.
So, what if you revisited the resource log thrower challenge, but instead of using piston and wheel launchers, you actually had to use an overhand/underhand/sidehand throwing motion? Like the whole spud gun, destructible block, sensor release thing and really tomahawk throw those logs. It's a whole different motion that isn't ideal for Scrap Mechanic that I think would make the competition and designs interesting.
challenge idea Overall anything goes. but 3 versions 15min build 10min build 5 min build place points 3,2,1 respectively and bonus round of a 1 and a half minute build
Okay, here's the idea Walk race With walkers That jumps over obstacles That transforms into cars That have concrete dispensers And can float and fly as well
Okay to expand on a dumb idea here... So instead of a plain 'ol foot race, you guys do an evolving car race, or parkour run. The loser of each run gets to decide the next obstacle to add onto the track. Block limits or something could help set perameters as to the additions.
I have a modified version of the foot race! I think that, since you can’t make vehicles, you should make the obstacles. It’ll be like a parkour race but different. Just my input
Maybe for the aerial concrete dog fight to work it would have to be like the tron arena. You could spawn concrete instead of gas tanks. Maybe place a couple gas tank spawners that move on their own to keep it exciting.
MM challenge: attempt to build guns that can fire a small canister at such a speed that it can penetrate an ever-increasingly thick wall of SOLID STEEL. One to get most penetration out of ONE DESIGN wins.
You should do an obstacle race, but you don't build the vehicles: you build the obstacles. Also, there is no reveal of obstacles before the race, you have to discover each other's obtacles during the race. IDK if this idea has been suggested before or if it has been done but I didn't watch the video, anyway it would be nice.
Me and one of my friends build a flying bus and had those stabilized flyers with bombs try and blow up the bus, maybe you can try doing that but with the concrete? The flying bus I speak of used a lot of mods, but it's really fun to fly.
Multiplayer Monday idea: have each person create 3 vehicles each then do a relay race using their 3 vehicles with each person in one, fastest time wins, this would be interesting as It would be cool to see each person's design for passing the baton
I feel like you could do a lot more if you just had modify dispensers or guns. But I think in zero-g as a cage match with some explosives spread around (not many, just for some debris) and a bread batch it could be fun.
SUGGESTION: I dunno, compare transformers or something. One who has least recognizable build after shape change wins? You could even have them go behind a wall during the first transformation.
Race idea: build a car, but with a few, mmmm, let's call them disadvantages: No bearings, no thrusters, no blocks, no parts, no seats, and also, no: keyboard, mouse, controller, monitor, microphone, or computer allowed in both the race and building process.
*STUPID SUGGESTION* !!! Based on this video and ScrapMan's recent squid miner, a *Concrete Battle* ... *UNDER WATER* !!!! Yes. That EPIC! That bad! Make subs ... and try to sink each other. What could go right? I mean wrong. Yeah. That's it. Wrong. What? Could? Go? *WRONG* ?!?!?! (Hmm ... no ... actually I think it was right the first time...)
You could do a free for all footrace where it's basically just footrace but everyone can use hammers, explosives, and maybe even bomb catapults or other machines that don't drive
Air Raid: Two agile bomber planes attack a military base, with one defender on an indestructible turret. There's a set of buildings with different sizes, contained in a wide square base, and these buildings can be moved and placed around the base (just think of the game Battleship). Bombers with the most destroyed buildings wins, and the defender wins by destroying the planes. If there are 4 players, then just have a classic game of Battleship, but with planes, and bases, and turrets.
MM idea: glitchless and thrusterless wall climbers that have to carry 10 loose tier 3 concrete blocks on a platform (not a box, has to be without any walls or a top, just a platform.) whoever loses the most concrete loses the challenge whoever has dropped the least ammount of concrete (or who has dropped no concrete at all) wins
Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday Stupid Idea #1000038754: Mecha Crab Battle. Everyone gets about 30 minutes to make a mecha crab (since making walkers tends to be pretty dang difficult) The Goal: be the last crab walker functional (functional = able to still walk and attack) How to achieve: each player will be allowed 4 drills and 2 saws for the "pinchers" of the crab. Your crab must be made from easily destroyable material (cardboard, glass etc). No thrusters or glitches, as usual. Edit: Also, obviously, things like pistons are allowed and such, otherwise the crab cannot function. But everything else not vital to movement and attack must be something like cardboard or glass or maybe wood if you want things going a bit longer.
Do a workshop race. Come up with a criteria of what to look for in the workshop then choose a creation (and maybe a back up creation incase two people pick the same) and pit them against each other.

Multiplayer Monday idea: have each person create 3 vehicles each then do a relay race using their 3 vehicles with each person in one, fastest time wins, this would be interesting as It would be cool to see each person's design for passing the baton
OOO I know how to do the dogfight
Use the player magnet mod to make "radar-guided" missiles, and build planes to launch them at each other
Every episode you come up with a crazy ideas
You know, You COULD use the anchor blocks in Trail Makers like the concrete pump dogfight and that would actually be doable.
The All Wheels Challenge. Build a vehicle with nothing but the necessary parts or moving parts (pistons and other blocks) and wheels.
I still kinda want to see a Cargo aircraft delivery race. Deliver 3 weighty boxes with handles on top.
I feel like you could do a lot more if you just had modify dispensers or guns. But I think in zero-g as a cage match with some explosives spread around (not many, just for some debris) and a bread batch it could be fun.
Make other blocks destructible or the gun/dispenser shoot tape/farther or faster
Bad idea
Multiplayer monday idea:
Make cars, and randomize who will have whos' car. (Maybe traps like a button that activates a bomb in the car)
SUGGESTION: I dunno, compare transformers or something. One who has least recognizable build after shape change wins? You could even have them go behind a wall during the first transformation.
multiplayer idea: - build vehicles and drive and try to kil each other (can work in survival) (a survival multiplayer)
Idea: you could do a foot race lol BUT each person builds a parkour/obstacle section that becomes part of the course
Race idea: build a car, but with a few, mmmm, let's call them disadvantages:
No bearings,
no thrusters,
no blocks,
no parts,
no seats,
and also, no:
keyboard,
mouse,
controller,
monitor,
microphone,
or computer allowed in both the race and building process.
*STUPID SUGGESTION* !!! Based on this video and ScrapMan's recent squid miner, a *Concrete Battle* ... *UNDER WATER* !!!! Yes. That EPIC! That bad! Make subs ... and try to sink each other. What could go right? I mean wrong. Yeah. That's it. Wrong. What? Could? Go? *WRONG* ?!?!?!
(Hmm ... no ... actually I think it was right the first time...)
You could do a free for all footrace where it's basically just footrace but everyone can use hammers, explosives, and maybe even bomb catapults or other machines that don't drive
liked at the point where kan jumps on his head when showing his pogo stick
Those were not stupid ideas, this is a stupid idea:
Make hammerpowered airplanes and do crashtests to see who is the strongest
Air Raid: Two agile bomber planes attack a military base, with one defender on an indestructible turret.
There's a set of buildings with different sizes, contained in a wide square base, and these buildings can be moved and placed around the base (just think of the game Battleship).
Bombers with the most destroyed buildings wins, and the defender wins by destroying the planes.
If there are 4 players, then just have a classic game of Battleship, but with planes, and bases, and turrets.
😴😴
Well this is a 3 in one of a multiplayer monday itself
The pogo stick race reminds me of those evolution games where you make a creature and it makes an ai to find the best way to move
MM idea: glitchless and thrusterless wall climbers that have to carry 10 loose tier 3 concrete blocks on a platform (not a box, has to be without any walls or a top, just a platform.)
whoever loses the most concrete loses the challenge
whoever has dropped the least ammount of concrete (or who has dropped no concrete at all) wins
Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday Stupid Idea #1000038754: Mecha Crab Battle.
Everyone gets about 30 minutes to make a mecha crab (since making walkers tends to be pretty dang difficult)
The Goal: be the last crab walker functional (functional = able to still walk and attack)
How to achieve: each player will be allowed 4 drills and 2 saws for the "pinchers" of the crab.
Do this: Flying Submarine Helicopter dog fight with spud guns, concrete dispensers, and some explosives for good measure.
Instead of dog fighting planes, you should try plane fighting dogs.
Thats exacly what i though
