Great times those years with a terrific MTV Europe ... Great memories with a bunch of young talented VJs such as Ray, Rebecca, Simone, Marijne, Iván, Enrico, Paul, Ingo, Steve, ...
I’m going to sound really old now but that really does take me back to a happy place in time. Life was simpler with only 10-15 tv channels no internet and phones that only called or text.😂
luckily Maiken Wexö was in there but i did'nt see Lily Myrhed. I must admit i miss the 80s and 90s MTV with chillout and partyzone and the presenters from that time. made electronicmusic grow to what it is today.
That´s what I´ve thought yesterday. It was awesome in hindsight, really a European thing with those different VJs not afraid to speak English with accent :-)
@BMFSTONECOLD2 Wasn't it just fucking great! Remember 'Most Wanted' with Ray Cookes- everyone played on that, headbangers ball, partyzone, 120 minutes, Hanging Out...sad really. Fuck Capitalism.

Enrico was my favourite VJ. I can't say why, maybe he just looked the coolest :D
One of my favourite stations of the '90s.
I still miss 'Most Wanted'.
What does the 'M' stand for now, because it can't be for music...
That's when we used to record on cassette tapes and the MTV was about music, not stupid pregnant girls that no one cares about.

And when MTV-Europe died, the idea of a united Europe died also...
Gotta remember Ingo Schmoll the most. Prolly because he hosted a lot back then, on other chans as well.
