I was walking them when some guy said I must get paid a lot of money to look after them. I said I did all the kisses and cuddles I wanted. Thank you Patricia, yes that thought has entered my head that he is looking for attention lol but in fairness his bark was very horse and he slept a lot but the vet said it was just like a common cold for dogs lol
Hi orla, I found you about a week ago and been binge watching you ever since, I'm welsh but I now live in north east England, I'd love to visit Ireland I'm not the greatest walker tho, my daughter has just sent me a link a couple of days in Dublin in the plaza hotel, it looks very much like the hotel you showed us all around I know it's not that one, but was wandering do you know if it's a good hotel and what might be near , I love watching you, such a lovely genuin lady, I have shifts like yours split up in the day but I also do actual nights so today I'm in 11.30 -2.00 then back at 5 till 8 am but from 12pm we only get paid 6.60 a night i know it's a con a sleeping night but it's a job, support worker for learning disabilities xx
Hi Elaine I'm not sure which plaza hotel she sent you but most hotels in the city are good as Dublin is a very walkable city. I would avoid Temple Bar to stay....nice for an evening but total tourist place. Your shifts sound really long . Mentally I find it hard but very rewarding x x
Batch cook soup on your days off Orla. Cannot beat home made soup. I have made 6 litres in the last 5 days and I never got any frozen as hubby has eaten most of it lol. Hope everyone and Mr T are feeling better xx
I really should but it can be hard as once the girls are away I'm the only one eating it and I only have a tiny freezer but I should at least make some homemade for myself.
I make soups and stews to use up the bits. So frugal and so good! Just finished off the last of the homemade stock in the freezer. Did misc veg and turkey sausage 3 days ago and it has been perfect as the weather has been just at freezing every night. Beautiful in the day but cold. Homemade is so much better. Lower salt and no preservatives. Plus cheap as chips!
