They still have a couple of V8's in their current lineup which are: GX460, LC500, IS500 and RC-F. But the future replacement of these models will all drop the V8.
@@electrikoptik yeah it's way better than the 40 year old og v8 they had but since 2007 is still pretty old, but I guess they're gonna kill it after this car
It needs aftermarket to unlock its full potential.
You guys would be blown away with an after market sound clip. Which I can help you with just to compare and show everyone the potential of this motor.
That thing sounds like a beast
Nice revs
Damn. We're not having anything that'll sound this good for awhile again.
It’s literally quite like a v6 Camry
@@345_artthis does not sound like a v6 camry 😭
@@345_arthuh? You guys say anything in 2024. This doesn’t even sound like an IS350, let alone a V6 Camry. 😂
I want this engine in the 2024 Land Cruiser
Is it possible to make this car go faster than 472 horsepower? If so what would you add to make it faster (sorry I don’t really know about cars 💀)
Nah dw bro, im also learning abt cars. You could tune the engine or do weight reduction by removing the back seats.
I love that car. But I have to admit, the stock exhaust is highly disappointing.
Stock exhaust disappointing on almost every car
@@_retrophile_7473 not the 6th gen Camaro or latest scat pack.. and those are actually affordable.

@@preyforcougars3601the scarpack nowadays😂. The camaro, yes. Especially a base model lt1
Why does the LC500 sound significantly better with the same engine…
Exhaust setup.
@@iyzyz different tune too I think
@@TalooshDaBoss pretty sure it's just exhaust, they make the same horsepower

Could be different headers
AMG, M, and RS cars get all the hype but they don’t sound like this.
That depends which RS cars you mean, Audi or Porsche. GT4 RS sounds 🔥
@@danielpope6498 Excellent point, I should have clarified, Audi.
Still would go with the RCF coupé…but if I had to have the sedan this is a nice last dance with this engine
I almost did, but there's a massive price difference.
I thought Lexus wasn't doing V8s anymore
They still have a couple of V8's in their current lineup which are: GX460, LC500, IS500 and RC-F. But the future replacement of these models will all drop the V8.
Yamaha and Lexus are developing hydrogen fueled V8s
Nah that’s weak. Too muffled. Def need aftermarket asap!
The sweet sound of Tesla
Yikes! :-) Sounds great, unless your neighbour goes to work at 5am.
Hm it's not really that loud so I don't think it'll be much of a disruption especially keeping low rpm and stock exhaust
🥴 This not it. I’ll take the C63 instead (Not the hybrid)
Seriously.. there are better sounding v6 cars.. no V8 rumble at all..
No, V6 sounds better only if you tune it. Stock V6 sounds like the vacuum cleaner in the most of cases.
Sonorous? Same v8 since the 80’s and they didn’t develop the sound for 40 plus years. Sad.
You are being stupidly wrong
You obviously don't know much. The 2UR-GSE used in the IS500 first came out in 2007.
@@electrikoptik yeah it's way better than the 40 year old og v8 they had but since 2007 is still pretty old, but I guess they're gonna kill it after this car
Sounds like dogshit for being a 5.0 liter engine.
Even a bonestock Mustang GT 5.0 sounds much better
Very bad
Slow
Slower doesn't mean worse
