Holy shit I stumbled across this video at about 3am last night, that is not a good time to be watching such videos. It's worth noting that places always look different in pictures. I remember once taking a picture of a room in my house that I've lived in for years and it just looked so strange. The features of the room were the same of course but it didn't look the way it looked from my eyes. I wondered if that's what it looks like for visitors. For me it just looked eerie. There's something also about unfamiliarity in otherwise familiar environments that scares us. A lot of these images are of childish kind of rooms and we associate this with fun. Yet these images couldn't look less fun. They're empty and there are no people there.
That's a good point. A lot of photos I remember taking of rooms/interiors to show to people, ended up looking unsettling on their own when I looked at them later. I guess they make you feel like the place in the photo is a room you worked/lived in, but it isn't the literal room. It's a photo of the room, an imitation, a reproduction. It now exists empty, still, lifeless, forever in an image. Definitely a strange sensation.
2:06 I used to play in a chamber music program at a college and my mom was a coach there. When I finished my rehearsal I had to go across the empty campus by myself in the evening, head into a different building past empty classrooms and down a flight of stairs into a room with fluorescent lights and armchairs with a hallway like this one leading off of it that turned right and headed to the room my mom taught in. The lights turned on with a light switch so I would have to look into the dark hallway whilst walking across the room to get to the light switch imagining seeing shadows moving around.
I feel like these represent how daja vu works. We remember being in these places but not when how or why. We are experiencing something we have all experienced before but not in the same way. It feels more unstable. Its as if we aren't the only person in the room, but rather the only person you can visibly see. The images show the innocence of being a child, but we have grown out of our childlike mindsets leaving the places that were once familiar, safe, and welcoming, to be creepy, chilling, and oddly familiar. If you were to watch the video with no volume, you are more likely to experience the a sence or feeling of being a child again. I bet if you showed this video ( *WITH NO VOLUME* ) to a child, they might point out that one place reminds them of another. Another thing is that, with noises we identify as "scary" we get the sence that something is about to happen. When that doesnt happen, our minds say "hey, nothings happening! I better stay on high alert!" Causing us to think we need to stay alert. Even with your brain knowing its just images, your still going to be alert. This all goes back to the feeling of being a child. We didnt have fully developed alert senses when we were children and so we didn't feel the need to be scared. But we do now
@@alex_utot7 don't worry, that doesn't make you less of a child. Children can experience nostalgia too, and what makes this video so weirdly confortable is nostalgia itself (which is mostly experienced by adults, since they've lived more time and have been through a lot of change, so it's easier for them to feel such), and what makes it so unsettling to watch is the fact that you know you've never been to those places, and of course, the arrangement of the pictures (the fact that there are no people in sight, the angle that the pictures have been taken, and some even say the crappy quality of the camera adds to the creepiness lol). I would say that, if you're old enough to understand the feeling of change and "missing" something/someone (that being places, experiences, people who you deeply cared about that aren't in your life anymore) can feel nostalgic about certain moments of your life (unless you're like two years old and won't remember shit afterwards lmao). Srry for the long text btw, feel free to debate with me if you like :^)
most of the places are unfamiliar because I live in a different country and places are different here but all these pics somehow give an eerie vibe, I want an Indian version of this tbh, and ngl these videos are addictive af
0:06 This one for some reason gives me an unknown feeling of trauma. It reminds me of when I lived in a broken down town house in a very dangerous area when I was a very young child in the 2000s. There was concrete floor everywhere and things were breaking down. We finally moved, but this creeps me out a lot.

1:17 This one made me remember that while i was in a roadtrip, i had to use the bathroom and stopped at one of those convenient stores and noticed that there was nothing inside, and the name was worn out, felt wierd
I feel like this is caused because these images have objects and surroundings that are recognizable from other memories creating a noticeable atmosphere
And it feels uneasy because most of these places have dark rooms and there is no sign of life which makes us feel loneliness and it also feels like we are in that room
0:46 freaked me out because I have actually been to that exact house before, it is my great grandmothers house and I would always visit her house with my mom (Edit: it doesn’t look like the photo anymore because she’s gotten some new furniture and also had the little wall in the back built up more and put a bunch of porcelain statues on it.)
2:18 Okay the picture right here looks exactly like one of my old school's libraries, I came to this video to be creeped out, not be violently attacked by my forgotten childhood.
Thank you, I can make a story about this! I've been having severe writer's block recently, and I think I've found a new subject for a psychological horror: Dreams. But not how normal media depicts them. The feeling of unease, like something is there with you, the strange, unnatural lighting, the horror of being in a place you can sort of recognize, but have not a mental map of. If you have an Instagram, share it with me, please. I'd be happy to share the finished creation with you!
That mall or store reminds me of my dreams i had before where its always the same mall that looked so close to this mall, except there's a different plot in the same mall such as me getting lost in the gigantic mall or meeting some ghost or me finding some abandoned store that had random gigantic plushies and toilets and urinals outside since there was no bathroom to keep it in?
minecraft alpha with a dense fog kinda hit anemoia Feels like someone watching you in that fog you dont know if it is herobrine or something else but you actually feel nostalgic at the same time because you remember the grass and leaves being lime color
The closest I can get to describing what these images feel like is walking through an empty school hallway. Completely empty. It's kinda freaking me out
This gives a sense of a nostalgia I can’t seem to comprehend nor explain. When I see these I can’t help but feel a 90s or early 2,000s vibe tho i was born a couple years before 2010 so I still don’t understand why this has an eerie ambience while a happy and sad feeling at the same time
Nah, I understand what you’re saying. I was born in 2005. I feel like I’ve been to so many of these places before but I never have. Maybe it’s a past life thing? Like I feel slightly at ease when I see these pictures, almost as if they should be familiar, but they also make me irrationally scared and depressed. The no signs of life and poor quality really disturb me.
2:54 doesn't feels that scary though, it just looks and feels like underground tram station in a city that i lived before, though not exactly same, tiles color tone was a little bit different.
You’re not the only person who thinks that. Personally, I dislike the early 2000s (and 2000s as a whole) because of how terrifying everything is, I prefer 2010-2013.
Im born in 2002 and sometimes i experience a deja vu or nostalgia like moments and i feel like it was those years of my birth and its like i feel the peace of vibe that was then and how people was and games and toys to play was weird, music and mindest 🧐
That library, I’ve definitely been there, my brother was looking for a book, and I was waiting to leave, it was in a huge mall, I couldn’t find anyone except Ollie, I found dad at one point but then he was gone, the floors were so high up I could barely stand from fear. That library was peaceful though
0:27 this picture scares me so much because it looks EXACTLY like how me and my sisters old bedroom looked. we had the same bedding, that same bear, the red barbie car on the bottom right, the curtains, the white bench in the middle, and we always had a trash bag filled with cloths or something. maybe it’s just a coincidence but idk it freaks me out
sorry for all the updates but above the bed you can see a black little lamp. i had a bookligjt that was black and looked just like that, and i would clip it on the shelf
willowe will that sounds pretty eerie... it could be that your memory of that bedroom is somehow imprinting itself onto the photo of a completely different bedroom, making you feel like it in fact was the same one. Freaky stuff.

@@sodaraptor do you have any of these pictures.,
Its currently 3:45 am
But we do now
Really well spoken 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm still fucking scared
But I’m a child and idk why but I’m feeling that
@@alex_utot7 don't worry, that doesn't make you less of a child.
