8:40 Raikou is a Skill specialist that keeps the overall team in mind. It has an insane main skill when the overall team has got a few electric types. The first Raikou is decent, but it's definitely possible to get a much better Raikou. I think that long grind hunt is going to be extra exciting. It's like a type of shiny hunt almost!

My togekiss actually proc'd the new skill today and I was stoked. Honestly, it's better than Raikou too (berry finding, skill frequency, etc) so I think if I get one it'll probably just be benched. Kinda sad for our first legendary.

Yeah I caught one this morning as well and it only gives 1 bean sausage as its starter ingredient and at lvl 30 gives 2 fiery herbs. Kinda underwhelming to be honest but its ability looks kinda fun.
I kinda dropped Sleep for a bit, cuz it always eats at my phone’s battery the following morning. Multiple nights of phone overheating, I didn’t keep up with it, and I’m paying for it now. I shouldn’t have cashed in my sleep points for a Master Biscuit for a middle stage Pokemon so quickly. I was impulsive, and had I known Raikou would have 30 boxes, I’d have saved it. 😢
Yeah I feel that, it’s the reason I have the Pokémon GO Plus+ really. Raikou won’t be gone permanently though, you can get it even after the event albeit very sparingly.
I tried to get my mastball biscut and I kept getting an error :( So I wasn't able to get mine, good to know it works if it would stop erroring out though I'd be able to get it

Something I’ve noticed is that the compared to the Ice berry the electric berry is quite weak however raichu make up for it in their speed compared to walrein’s berry strength.
Edit: Electric is giving me 165 from strongest and my walrein is giving me 230 despite only being 2 levels higher than my highest lvl electric type
Yep. Berries all have individual worth values and Grepa is near the bottom, while Rawst is near the top. Berries also vary based on the level of your Pokemon too.
Should I save the master for the second Raikou or use master for the first one and raikou biscuit for other?
Hard to see, its tough to recruit so that’s something to consider

Can someone explain how this event works and if I can do it? Played pokemon sleep for a couple months when it first released but haven’t touched it since. I’d love to pick up a Raikou
I just started 2 weeks ago and I got my raikou. It’s not a difficult thing to do, he’s pretty much available to anyone patient enough. Me personally I saved up to buy the master biscuit but you don’t need to do that tbh
What do you mean when u say just use a poke biscuit
A Shiny in Pokémon Sleep always is an instant recruit so you only need 1 Poké Biscuit to get it.

Devs said that 1st Raikou will be the same for everyone.

Yes. You need to hit Master 9 though to see the 1* sleep Raikou.

I put my Raikou on the team right away, it hasn't even triggered its skill once. all the other helpers have... a bit disappointed

now, so u can get ur second raikou with diff stats asap
If you’re master 9 or higher it’s not worth because word of the street is that you can only encounter one at a time (unconfirmed atm) but with the 1.5x you have a higher chance tonight at getting a non-incense Raikou tonight than later in the week and if the incense one takes the spawn you might be giving up encountering an extra one. Like I said it’s unconfirmed, but you’re not losing anything but waiting an extra day
