      @@dwisenhower They have and if you would own the product you would care enough to learn about it and actually know where to look at! :D Anywas. What you are looking for is distribution maps and they can be exported from selected materials!

    it doesn't change the export size of the images even I change the size numbers... is it possible to renderout as 8K?

    When I render a mesh, the bar loads about 3/4 of the way then stays there and doesn't finish the render. Any clue why?

    How do you setup and export correct splat maps/ heat maps?

      I'm struggling for the same thing. Some tut about it would be great. I haven't been able to export roughness map in WC3 yet.

    It is not exporting mesh. Seems working but no file appears in folder

    You explained all the obvious things, everything a CG artist will understand. What you didn't explain is how to you export higher resolution textures than 4k. The thing that most people will probably want to know.

      in order to export textures in 8K4K you need to set Precision from 1 Meter to 1/8 - 1/4 Meter in the GLOBAL tab

      @@DATECStudio Agreed 8k is nothing, I would love to see support to export 32k and 64k, not even 16k is enough if you gonna render terrain in Blender that you need up and close and not something you view from the Orbit. It seems this software as wonderfull as it is, is limited to 8k?

    Hi there - When using the WC2022 plugin to Unreal - It exports as one map - How do I separate the maps to access their positions separately please?

    Since the update I can't find my Z, so I can't import my project into Unreal Engine at scale. Now how do I manage?

      Has anyone figured it out? One idea is exporting a mesh and scaling the mesh to the terrains X and Y, then matching the landscapes height to the mesh. But sounds like a headache.

    I hate when they totally change the updated version of softwares. Or some useful options arent even available in new versions. Like in WC2, we could easily set precision level and terrain overall size separetaley, but in this version if we go precision 1/8, It scals our landscape to 8k. and if we try to reduce in in export setting it crops the hieghtmap. WTF? I am sorry I am frustrated now, am I doing something wrong? I am not a newbie, and this tool isnt even that complicated. It was all just smooth in WC2. Why changed all that? I am trying to export hieght and splat maps to unreal, and for some reason I can not set the correct landscape size for unreal without croping. I know there is a plugin now but but why changed it even it was all perfect? Not everyone like to use plugins. What IF I wanna use it to different game engine?

    Where is the z scale value for UE4 that was present in older versions of the software? I cannot get my terrain to sit reliably at ground level in UE4. Sorry I'm talking about 2023. It doesn't give you the option.

    I am a beginner in Blender but at least it is easy to find how to render a scene there and save it as jpeg for example. However after watching a few videos with export from WC I could not find a single video explaining it apart from a few months back that are using some kind of extended version of WC that even includes a library with plants and rocks. I have only maps as options for export in WC and a screenshot takes a picture of the whole screen. Can you explain how to do it?

      btw my version of WC is 2022.2.1 and it is what is available for download on their website. It looks the same as yours in your video.

    Hi, I saw your tutorials on World Composition, I want to make a map 16 by 16 kilometers, but when I make two maps of 8 kilometers each in WC, in UE4 they exist as separate locations, and I cannot texture both of them

    I update my world creator to newest 2023.4, the Exoprtiong is so confused,Where can I set export folder? all data exported to C:\Users\admin\Documents\World Creator\Export

      Currently that's the only location they have it exporting to...this is being changed so you can export wherever you want.

      @@Gromic2k I recently did a Blender export live session (month+ ago)...only because the exporting functions had been disabled for a long time to be revamped. They are revamped now so I'm setting up plans the next several months to cover a lot more things soon! I've been doing water damage cleanup lately :(

    How do I export splited Heightmap for Tiles? (starting from x0_y0). Is there any automatic option for that?
    Also World Creator 2022.2 doesnt shows any Game Engine Scaling information and no naming possibility for exporting splat maps.

    Unfortunately this software does not work on a software mode. It only works on GPU. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Are there any plans for software only mode? Coz these days people are investing more on CPUs than GPUs

    Would love to see how to get this into UE5. I just get a fractal every time I pull it over. (EDIT: Nevermind, found the best option was to export PNG 16 bit, non single channel)

    Hey y'll - just made an amazing build in WC2022.2... And now I can't actually export it anywhere because I don't know my Z-Factor, and I can't export heatmaps for the terrain layers. Please respond to the many people on here with the same problem. Should we downgrade?

      There is a GPU I for button on the vertical icons in the bottom right that shows the min and max range…but they are working on correcting all the export stuff now!

    how do I import into UE5?? every time I try to import into unreal it only imports a fraction of the terrain that I had generated in world creator, and it's not even similar to the terrain I created in world creator.
