- This dude is genuinely hilarious, I laughed out loud many times, highly recommend you watch it but with standard expectations, not high. Craig Ferguson is constantly giving Trace Adkins a hard time & his responses are hilarious.
Btw, it's hilarious to observe Craig doing this, what do I mean? Well, when big guys come on, he finds a humorous way to annoy them in the most hilarious ways, you can observe this with Michael Clarke Duncan & Trace. It's the best thing ever.
Also, want to say that it looks like this ended badly, but I have proof they are good friends, Trace came on Craig show, "Join or Die" around 2015. Enjoy!

I swear Craig was THE best interviewer on earth. Every person I thought would totally lock up and be an Odd interview was totally hilarious and into Craig’s on the fly style. He brought out the best side in people so easily.

@@nickgarcia1292 actually it may be some truth to it since it's the higher paying gig...but even then I don't think Craig would have liked a prime spot. His jokes and humor wouldn't have went over well with the exec's. Now if he started doing his own through a streaming service, HBO, or even like Conan did working a deal out with TBS before switching himself...that would be a thing he would probably return for if he decided to since the restrictions wouldn't be near as bad.

Never heard of Craig Ferguson up until a couple of days ago. Gotta say i love this guys almost awkward/funny approach. He clicks with every celeb he interviews. Also how funny and cool is Trace Adkins? Never heard of him until today. This is how talkshows should be done!! Both relaxing and funny.
I did some remodel work at a big amphitheater that got damaged from weather. We ate where the show people would eat. The guy that prepared the food said a big guy with a pony tail and a cowboy hat came in one day and was eating.. he said that he thought he was the truck driver for who ever was on that night. Said he was a super nice guy they ate and talked. As he walked out the big man said "you dont know who I am do you?" Its was Trace Atkins .....lol

That's what I love about Craig Ferguson, he didn't take all that shit seriously. He gave as good as he got but knew it was all in fun. Only watched 3 talk shows that just made me laugh hysterical: The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The Graham Norton Show. Don't watch any other ones. And wow Trace Adkins, heck yeah one of the first country singers I just loved. He and Josh Turner, their voices, good Lord. 🤠😍

Not really "instant" classic. The line is classic but "old" classic n shows how many years Trace did play "beer joints". He has the dry wit that controls rowdy drunks without making them mad.
