Khadgar being a mortal of many good deeds probably was being taken to Bastion like Uther, but then Anduin somehow is more powerful than the Valkyr of the afterlife and yanked him back? This is why you don't make lore based on death/afterlife and time travel, because it contradicts what is already there. Better for that piece to remain a mystery.
It's like raising sentient undead, you forcibly yank the soul back. One through the light, one with death magic. The undead race didnt cease to exsist because of SL. Also as far as we know you have to rez them shortly after they die for the light to revive them. Possibly before the soul is yanked by the Valkyries and Kyrians arrive.

Deciding that the Alliance could never be morally wrong, they redeemed Varian, and made sure only the Horde was...EVIL! Seriously they just drug up the last bucket full of water, then dropped down to start digging up the dirt to see if they could wring more water out of it.... At this point they are using blasting caps to try and find water from a dry well...

Who usually gets stomped by the next big bad, so that the Alliance gets another cutscene of pure hero awesomeness. Seriously, go through the cutscenes and you will see that most of them are the Alliance being the big good, and the Horde being the Meh, they helped to.

This last cinematic is so disappointing, the same generic villain comment and the same dumb way of falling for the good guys' badass attack, the lack of importance of Khadgar's disappearance at the beginning of the expansion, the way Anduin's power is shown as a little spark of light, it feels rushed and that makes me so sad, what a waste, they were on very good tracks (and probably still are) but they botched this cinematic...
They turned a 3,000 year old, battle hardened Elf who has absorbed and conquered the Void into a 16 year old girl who let her 12 year old little sister do her makeup. Her face looks like smooth silly putty. Do better, blizzard. Such a great story, great cinematics, enjoying the playthrough - but Alleria's appearance is offputting, knowing all she has been through.
Instead of making her another Sylvanas, maybe it’s more she was so confident that she couldn’t be stopped that she was genuinely angry and pissed that something happened. Second, Anduin healed Khadgar with Light, which would hurt something of the Void like Xal. So, if she is impersonating Khadgar, it wouldn’t have been pure torture and even if she’s only inside/possessing him, it would have hurt Khadgar a great deal.

This last cinematic is so disappointing, the same generic villain comment and the same dumb way of falling for the good guys' badass attack, the lack of importance of Khadgar's disappearance at the beginning of the expansion, the way Anduin's power is shown as a little spark of light, it feels rushed and that makes me so sad, what a waste, they were on very good tracks (and probably still are) but they botched this cinematic...
They turned a 3,000 year old, battle hardened Elf who has absorbed and conquered the Void into a 16 year old girl who let her 12 year old little sister do her makeup. Her face looks like smooth silly putty. Do better, blizzard.
Such a great story, great cinematics, enjoying the playthrough - but Alleria's appearance is offputting, knowing all she has been through.

Instead of making her another Sylvanas, maybe it’s more she was so confident that she couldn’t be stopped that she was genuinely angry and pissed that something happened. She was definitely surprised. I don’t think it’s a Sylvanas getting triggered moment. If it were, she would razed the priory or something impulsive. Instead she retreated. Just my view of it

Don’t think so. Wouldn’t make sense, since Khadgar straight up died, until Anduin brought him back, something she really couldn’t have known would happen. Second, Anduin healed Khadgar with Light, which would hurt something of the Void like Xal. So, if she is impersonating Khadgar, it wouldn’t have been pure torture and even if she’s only inside/possessing him, it would have hurt Khadgar a great deal.
