I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually beating maps under an ARK challenge. Unlocking the ending cinematics is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play some wild mods, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, maps, maybe even premium mods and official usually covering all maps from Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration to Extinction, Gen 1 & Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

this game takes up majority of my storage, i had to delete 4 games just to patch an update even though i had more than 100gb free, i was so close to letting my bases on official decay. im one more delayed release away from never playing this shit again lmfao
they said they will split the maps into DLC in their next major update coming in 1~2 months from now I think.
that mean you can uninstall the maps you not gonna play to reduce the size of the game.
like uninstall SE or Center or aberration etc only keep Island and the other maps you actually play.
i have to uninstall the game and reinstall it every time there is an update lol

You know the frustrations of the community better than anyone but like many ark RUclipsrs your scared to bite the hand that feeds you. Yea sure they are allowed to have lives outside work but it's just strange they can find time outside of work to laugh at memes on RUclips but during work hours they seem unable in the years they've existed to address the majority of player concerns in the game.

Optimization is just something people with bad hardware that refuse to upgrade complain about. Games are just getting bigger, and require more. Stop thinking you can get by with a 10 year old rig. Optimization is just a buzz word. You just can't run the game bro, do something about it.
@sithlord7m Says the guy who doesn't have a 5090, paired with a 9800x3d who is happy with 10 fps in the game without frame Gen. Because even if you had the hardware I mentioned you still wouldn't get 50 fps at 4k with frame Gen turned off. Which you have to via console commands. Quit being a idiot. Even people with the best computers money can buy complain about the lack of optimization in a game. If a game runs like shit on the best hardware, that means it runs worse on worse hardware. Which you have.

Light no Fire is going to be Awesome and dominate as a open world Survival Game and AsA is going to be Satire that ends up as a dead Game with no more interest in being creative and no care in the game of AsA at all as they don't want to fix it they just Abandoned it and repeat the process with the next game.. and die out like Ubisoft.. that's what is going to happen to Obsidian.Bethesda and Snail Games.WildCard...if they keep going down the wrong path

Man here I was hopin that Raas was going to show the Devs that this game really is a joke and needs work. I have about 10k hrs on this game (ase and asa). The idea that people like myself die hard fans are going to stick around and still just put up with the shit dev support and official servers is mad. I have uninstalled the game and tell everyone who asks me if they should get the game (as they see steam hrs) I tell HELL NO. DO NOT FUND THEM! This is not to say that Ark could not BE great game but it simply is so horrible in execution that I can not condone this game to anyone ever, even for $10 on sale. The Dev support or there lack of and the money grabbing schemes with bugger all fixes from things player actually want/ need for the game to even load sometimes. Big let down Mr Raas as one of the biggest creators for this game we need you to be honest about this game!! Not everyone plays solo on a $10k rig.

Svala i really hope you care enough to read the comments. Please do something about megalanias on pvp they have been a mesh tool for years and thousands of people have lost their bases to the same group of guys who constantly make alt characters because it is so easy todo. Nobody uses them for pvp only for toxin please make them unridable the only thing they are used for is meshing on pvp if you guys can disable railguns even on console you could disable meganlia being ridable or completley take saddle away.
