Old DB audio 12s (unnamed so we call them 1st gen t-rex) on a taramps smart 3
Spiders are still tight so hopefully when i run them in they'll play lows better, got one of the subs for free because it had a shifted magnet, stripped it down and centred the magnet, replaced the spider and luckily they're roughly matching in stiffness and play well together

deeeecent broseph, i just ordered myself a taramps smart 3, cant wait, replacing my old JBL BP1200.1 for my 2x American Bass XFL 12's, what you have for electrical? all ive got is stock 140a alt, big 3 with Knukkonceptz ofc 0g wire, and the same 0g ofc wire back to the amp, AGM under the hood is all ive got, hopefully im alright for now until i add a second battery at least

In this video stock electrical on knukoncepts 0 gauge, no big 3 on a stock 90a alt. I've got a 240 amp coming and 0 gauge welding wire for the big three. Tbf my voltage wasn't completely terrible probably around 12v full tilt. I'm sure you'll be fine on your setup coz a 140a alt is decent

@@doctorarms6294 thanks for the reply man, that makes me feel a bit better haha I'll deffinately add a second battery in the future though, my current amp JBL bp1200.1 is pretty power hungry at 1ohm so it shouldn't be too much different I guess, only downside is I'm going to run the taramps smart 3 at 2ohms, I'll still be on 3k w rms but it will be less efficient than the amp is at 1ohm
