Saw these guys when they opened for Dimmu in Stockholm 2008 or whenever that was. They absolutely owned the place and Dimmu had a really hard time going on after these guys. Say what you want about the theme but trust me these guys are incredible live!

The bands name mean "Mount Doom" as in the volcano from Lord of the Rings for my first point, the second one is that Amon Amarth likes to usually avoid slandering your "religion" and one of the few songs that does quite openly go against your faith happens to be one of their best.
I don't understand why so many people are so anti-religion or more specifically anti-christian. The attitude is always coated with a false sense of superiority, while I would much prefer peace regardless of what religion or from what belief you are from. In any case this is an Amon Amarth video, we should all just agree that these guys are legendary.
