    Yumo . Nice squid 🦑 sister. The old crab 🦀 net trick. Glad you’re doing that. Ps my favourite squid jag is called desquid. Check them out. I picked a few up from the tackle shop in victor harbour. I like the pink 1 and the gold 1 awesome jags. A little x ie but hay can’t take it with you. ? Sat on the new deck yet??

      Love the crab net. Takes the anxiety out of bringing the squid in 😏. Thanks for the jog tips. Will check them out! Not been on the deck yet. You have beaten me to it 😅

    Head to brown beach sometime fish are waiting for the bait all the time if tide is good

    • @fishingsister

      We have tried Browns beach a couple of times with no success. It is definitely a beach we want to catch a fish on. Perhaps next time we are on the Yorke Peninsula we might give it another shot. Thanks for the comment :). Have you fished Browns?

    Light weight and might be easier to pack if you're not taking crab nets with you.

    Once when we fished at Marion Bay the squid were umping out of the water trying to swallow our floats, they were huge and we caught about 12 in a day. Must really get back down there one day.

      @fishingsister  Год назад

      We find it's good to have a couple of hand lines on a jetty. We call them "lazy squids" because there is no effort. It's easier than carrying rods and they are easy to use off a jetty👍

    I use kiwi fruit to tenderise meat like steak etc. Green kiwifruit contains a natural enzyme called Actindin that breaks down protien makes it tender and soft.

    • @fishingsister

    You can eat the tentacles they are delicious and crunchy

  • @kevinaldred5303
    @kevinaldred5303 Год назад

    Why don't you eat the tentacles... they are really the best part ... keep the tendrils for bait the rest you eat flaps and all ... keep the heads for crab bait and nothing is wasted

    • @fishingsister
      @fishingsister  Год назад

      Good question....we normally would eat the tentacles but as you can see we had way too much squid for dinner and we did not have much bait for the next couple of days. So we used some for bait.
