My grandfather is from Nurnberg and survived the horrible WW2 as a soldier. Than he came back to Nurnberg and watched the trials happening 10 minutes from his home. He hoped justice would be served and he was very pleased with the final outcome. Today he is 96 years old.

Can you imagine how great the Country or for that matter the world would be if we had leaders like this man . Wisdom, compassion strength , justice , love and mercy. When this generation slips away I hope we have truly listened and learned from these treasures. My God the things that they endured and still gave us the life we sometimes take for granted. and that so many of that generation left there dreams on a beach in France 🇫🇷 or Belgium 🇧🇪 or Russia 🇷🇺 . God Bless our glorious war dead 🙏 . THANK YOU !!!

Amazing man. My complements to the individual conducting the interview. While the sound for his questions could be vastly improved, he allowed Mr Ferencz to talk rather than trying to dictate or direct the story with questions. I am thinking maybe 10 questions asked In 55 minutes with half coming in the last 10. Great job.

Big difference between a vaccine and what Nazi's did in Germany. I never got the vaccine I wasn't taken from my home and shot. I simply did a weekly covid test after a while the company sent me the test, I just filled out an online form saying I tested negative. I was not in favor of any mandated vaccine, but I would never compare it to the Holocaust.

Everything is fine. There is an ICC. Is it accessible to the common man? Can a person living in an area that is constantly subjected to proxy war drag the country responsible for this war to the ICC?
I suppose not, we would need a case that is there , maybe even the proof, but convicts to be tried? No. These are people carrying out the proxy war with the help of their Govt.
Is there a provision in the ICC for a common man to drag this country to this court?

If the interrogators, guards, lawyers, prosecutors, researchers, translators, clerks, judges, legislators, magistrates, secretaries, defense all come from the enemy side, all assume that torture is a legitimate mode of (enhanced) interrogation and that since they won, you lost, the usual conventions of military justice don't apply and whatever they do to you, there ins nothing you can say or do... how the heck are you supposed to get a fair trial?
This was the first time a war was followed by such ridiculous show trials meant to scare the German population into complete submission and to make sure that those who knew too much about the planned genocide (Morgenthau Plan), the systematic plunder of everything that had any value like patents, industrial secrets, artworks, bonds, gold, foreign assets, blueprints, military research, libraries: public and private, scientific wonders, weapons, farm equipment, fertilizers and animals, complete industrial plants were dismantled, shipped and rebuilt in France and the USSR, the POWs were reclassified as Disarmed Enemy Force, a trick to avoid the responsibilities of the Hague and Geneva conventions like for example, shelter and food, between 1945 and 1949 the civilian population was intentionally starved to death, Eisenhower even refusing the Red Cross food packages to be delivered to the dying, all the coal was shipped out to Framce, thousands more froze to death, Stalin and DeGaule considered German lives as war freparations, France treating them so horribly, upon hearing about it Eisenhower refused to send them one more prisoners, steel production, the usual 'for food' exchange product with the neighbors was forbidden, the rapes from the east, at one time 90% of the newborns died before 5 days, the foreign "displaced persons" who refused to go home and were given almost twice the calories of the Germans during their stay, to pass the time were let loose in the surrounding districts, broke into most every house and took everything they wanted, non stop until they left... Mr. Ferencz, did you know about these? And when you saw inmates put a guard in an oven, fire it up, took him out, some more torture, back in, until they stopped taking him out, and didn't say anything even if you had your gun with you, Was that an "accessory to the crime? And the others you tortured to get fast confessions? Mr. Ferencz, we sent the hangman home, could you hang yourself please, we would greatly appreciate. Thanks.
