      I loved all the characters. More seasons will allow for so much more character building so you really can't go in too hard when there just weren't enough episodes to really flesh out such a huge cast.

    • @TheUnstoppableBar
      @TheUnstoppableBar 5 лет назад +2

      Jenna James after finishing the show, I just CANNOT unsee her as Kara Danvers. God she'd make an incredible Supergirl. I feel like Starlight in general had so much in common with Supergirl - her naivety, her drive to be productive and actually save people, her need of pleasing other people at her own expense. It all just screams Supergirl to me. And the actress executed it wonderfully as well. I think DC would be idiots to not consider her for the role.

    Grace, just because you saw Captain Marvel do something it doesn’t mean it’s actually possible. If Homelander tried to slow the plane down, the front of the plane would slow down faster than the back of the plane. As you might guess, that’s not very good news for the passengers inside the plane.
    That’s what makes the show so compelling. Homelander was actually right then. He would not have been able to stop the plane and there really wasn’t any point in trying. The best part about Homelander is that he’s a genius but he’s also so careless.

    • @ASageCalledQ
      @ASageCalledQ 5 лет назад +2

      ASageCalledQ and that adds yet another level of depth to the scene. Homelander definitely could have saved some of the people on the plane, but he had already decided that he couldn’t. So he didn’t. Even though he could have, if that makes sense.

    I believe the baby that Butcher 'used' as a weapon was Stillwell's baby, who of course shot blue beams from its eyes instead of red. My guess would be that it was created as an 'anti'-Homelander, to counteract him if needed. It would also make perfect sense regarding the story considering they realized their mistake of raising Homelander without a mother, so Stillwell was raising it as her own, (whether or not she had actually given birth to it is unclear because they do make a quick reference to her not producing much milk to feed it.) Hopefully they will continue that in Season 2, and if it wasn't intentional, it should be!

    I LOVE this show! So much so I binged it in one sitting. The vfx were soooo good, especially when Homelander uses his laser vision. I do wish, however, more of the heroes flew like they do in the comic. Homelander being the only one was slightly upsetting. Also, if Starlight wasn't in this show as your typical goody goody Super, I don't know if I would have stayed watching, only because i don't like the idea of ALL super powered people being a**holes. And I like the grey area the Boys (both the show and the group) themselves operate in.
    Edit: I was also side eyeing Homelander so hard during that plane sequence. His reasoning was less than convincing, and even if he couldn't save all of them by flying back and forth I'm pretty sure he could have saved a huge chunk of them. And your right Grace, I've seen Superman do it 1000 times over. Which still would have gotten them the good press they wanted.
