@@NguyenQuang-el1kq I don't remember her saying she was Jewish. I remember her clearly saying she was a Nazi and her husband was a scientist that started the super human science
@@NguyenQuang-el1kq She would never have been married to a German and allowed to take pictures with Hitler if her character was Jewish. I just rewatched the scene in episode 6, when she reveals her origins to Homelander and she NEVER mentioned she was Jewish only that she was born in Berlin in 1919 and married Frederick Vought and was the first successful compound V super.
I think Grace is thinking that since the nazis and Vought experimented on their jewish prisoners, Stormfront was one of those prisoners and she was brainwashed and she and Vought fell in love with each other and married. But Stormfront never says that. As a nazi Vought by law wouldn't be allowed to marry her if she had been jewish and she definitely couldn't have been mingeling with the nazi leadership.
The creators should ignore all the criticism of wannabes writers and failed artist and continue to do what they are doing. The Boys seasons 1 & 2 were fantastic. Wouldn't change anything.
This is THE best superhero show out there, even better than the movies. Antony Starr should get an Emmy or at least a golden globe. I loved how Maeve was in the backseat for the entire season and then in the last episode she was kind of the MVP. And the scene of the girls beating up Stormfront was very satisfying. No big CGI fights, just the old school fists and kicks.
every time shits going down and i see homelander appearing, i shit my pants a little. im like, 'crap, he's here'. its a credit to the writing acting editing.
@@calebwany8422 pretty sure she followed Stormfront to the Boys' location. When Stormfront was watching the news about her ties to Hitler, Maeve was the only member of the seven who was there and she didn't look very happy, so maybe she decided to follow her bc it's about doing the right thing. And then again she followed her to Ryan and Becca after Stormfront ran away from the scene. Just a theory.
Maeve woke up only near the end of the season by first saving Starlight from Black Noir and then helping with Stormfront. They could not have beaten Stormfront without her. Stormfront was about to kill the whole lot of them or at least do some serious damage when Maeve tapped her shoulder.
What does the actress being Jewish have to do with her character?? Stormfront is 100% German, born in Berlin. An actor can't play a different nationality or a person of a different religion? You dropped the ball there :)
of course anyone can play anything under the right circumstances, but to pick a jewish actress to play a nazi needs further exploring. It is such a loaded choice and the just didn't address it or dive deeper. and being born in Berlin has nothing to do with how German you are. My grandmothers family were all Jews born in Berlin. And being Jewish is often also an ethnicity not only a religion. Idk I'm not saying it was a good or bad choice it's just a really big one that deserved more unpacking
@@josephheller3825 Yeah, I agree with everything you're saying. Even Aya Cash talked about this topic multiple times in her interviews. It's a subject worth exploring OUTSIDE the show. Grace implied that she wanted that adressed INSIDE THE SHOW, as part of the plot. Which wouldn't make any sense. As far as the PLOT OF THE SHOW goes - the characer, Stormfront is basically German, and has nothing in common with being Jewish.
I loved this season. The ending was great. I don’t know why it’s a problem to put out week to week episode. For me it’s great. Gives me time to watch other shows I’ve been wanting to watch.
I feel like she was a distraction for the viewers. We saw her walking outside at the end of episode 6, and then the explosions happened in the end of episode 7. She may come back in season 3, but Stormfront and Lamplighter are dead, so I don't know if it'd add a conflict.
I think that the non spark between Stromfront and Homelander was for reason to show that She was just using his wanting to be "held" as an opportunity to advance her agenda.
@@CruderQuotient1 I don't remember at which episode this point was briefly stated, but Homelander is "supposed" to be about 17 years old, which makes me wonder if ageing works differently with some Supes.
No love for Frenchie? I get you can’t go through all of them, but I thought he had a fantastic season, especially in that Lamplighter episode with his flashbacks.
I think you're being too hard on the fun non story related scenes. Everyone wants more of those and more world building. For character driven stories like this, those are the scenes people end up watching repeatedly.
The scene with Homelander yanking his chain on the building was actually filmed for season 1! It was one of the only things Amazon didn’t allow! Loved that they used it for season 2 😂 so Grace, I think that scene perfectly captures the character of Homelander. I disagree that it degraded him in anyway
This was by far the best “girl power” scene in a movie or show. Each character had an arc which naturally led them to that scene and in the moment I was just so excited to see these awesome characters beat up a character I loved to hate. And frenchie’s call back to the press junkets was the cherry on top
Agreed I didnt even realize it to frenchie said it was so cleverly done that even though it ended up being a girl power moment it felt like that it was natural and what should've happened
It also helped that nobody else in that scene had powers. So it's not like the boys didn't want to help, they just couldn't. All the females in that scene had superpowers.
Am I the only one that hates "flashback" episodes? I'd prefer a character's past can be peppered throughout the season. It just takes me out of what's going on. Especially when the previous episode ends on a cliffhanger. The Walking Dead did this and it sucked. And it sucks even more for shows that are released weekly. That's my little rant.
Haha they blamed Stormfront for Jeffrey Epstein's death This show is amazing! Check under the chyron when the news shows the photo of her and Frederick Vought 😂😂😂
I didn’t think Homelande wacking it on the roof at the end was out of character or degrading to his character, it’s very fitting to his character given how one he’s a bit psycho and two, he often does things to prove to himself that he doesn’t need anyone nor needs anyone’s approval to do so. Just like earlier in season two when he killed doppelganger’s neck. Storefront is also a nazi in the comics just a dude not a chick. The boys one of the reasons it’s awesome is because they don’t give a a damn about the woke, PC nonsense that’s ultimately killing shows. Just look at supergirl, batwoman etc
It's so incredibly hilarious how many things bothered Grace for being problematic in this season but yet she thinks Homelander is somehow a "grey" character. Lol She's lacking so much self awareness there.
Aya Cash is an actor. Stormfront is a character. Why does the ethnicity of the actor matter when playing a role, Grace? (Something you've brought up numerous times.) She did a fantastic job.
The Stormfront character was obviously was never Jewish so why are u comparing the character with the actor? Yes, the actor is Jewish doesn't change anything about her acting props capabilities.
No talk about the character development for frenchie and mother’s milk ? Okay, but I strongly disagree on black noir being the worst. If anything it’s hughie. I’ve never seen a character become so useless. In the first season he helped out the team with his wits, but now he doesn’t even have that.
Gutzz151 he didn’t really save starlight though. He got lucky that lamplighter decided to kill himself by lighting himself on fire causing Vought’s sprinkler system to activate which then allowed starlight to escape the prison she was in by absorbing the electricity
Shawn Chavis but Hughie HAS been pretty useless in season 2 though. His shining moments were back in Season 1. Black Noir’s character is clearly meant to be subtle and mysterious. He’s a damn ninja that doesn’t speak and assassinates on command....he doesn’t need constant character development at this, the writers are taking their time with him
Grace! Amazing review! Just one correction. Aya Cash is Jewish, but Stormfront wasn´t. As I recall, the show never said anything about her being Jewish. Wasn't she speaking german while dying and married nazis?
Loved this season, Tony Starr and Karl Urban- were really acting their asses off, they showed so much range of emotion in this episode. Becca’s death actually made me tear up 😢
Grace, Frenchy did say "Girls really do get it done!" as the ladies beat the shit out of Stormfront! Assuming that's what you meant when saying you wished someone, perhaps one of the guys, reference the whole "Girls Get It Done" thing from before. I distinctly remember it because I also thought it was brilliant! Awesome video as always, keep up the amazing work and thank you for the much needed distraction haha 😁😂👍
Antony Starr is such an amazing talent especially with his face acting. My favs are Hughie & Starlight together. I hope they explore Black Noir having possibly a deeper connection with Stan Edgar explaining the loyalty.
Grace it was trending on Top 3 in the US. I saw it trending the whole time at around 12am central time, which is why you probaly didnt see it since it was late over there. (The Finale)
Here is my pet peeve... Stormfront shoots lightning at many humans in the show, and KILLS them on the spot. But when she shoots lightning at Hughie and Frenchie in the finale, they just go flying backwards. Same thing happens in the Umbrella Academy. Power levels shouldn't be dulled just because it's happening to a protagonist.
Rictus River Films agreed. In the first season they really focused on identifying and exploiting supes weaknesses to take them on. That’s how Hughie even ended up on the boys. But this season they show up to fight Stormfront with... a bazooka? I get the show wants to have the boys face the seven sometimes, but they’re gonna have to be more creative with how they do it in the future if they don’t wanna compromise the believability of the world they’ve created.
But how the hell are they gonna take on homelander? Theyre clearly not going with the comic story....but one thing I do think they'll take from it is that the boys will end up taking compound V. They just have to. Cuz like you said, guns and bazookas do nothing. Starlight took that massive shot from billy butcher and it just bounced her back. Why would it work on even more powerful characters
@@jdigga24 Because Frenchie mixed in some special gas that was supposed to work on supes. They did not get to test it. Stormfront destroyed the whole arsenal.
Specially when he gasps during the dead whale scene and when he's crying On the floor after the secret about compound v is released to the public lol. It's the little things :)
Your sympathy for homelander is...concerning. He is antagonist. He is a villain. Just because we understand his motivation DOESNT make him some sort of antihero or tragic figure. He is still cruel. He is still disgusting. He raped Becca. He outed Maeve.
Shawn Chavis When I read this at first I was like WTF, but your right, change the gender or the skin colour and the character would not be getting sympathy from any viewer.
@@shawnchavis2102 The truth is that He is so similar in look to superman and Grace is such a huge Superman fan. I think she has this inner thought that he could become what she wants, but the character is never designed for it.
She is working for Vot, if you go back and watch the season there are many hints. The biggest one is that Edger is always watching her during her speeches (as in monitoring her).
I love that the ‘girls get it done’ scene in the last episode . The 4 female supes fighting and it wasn’t forced feminism or tokenism like THAT scene in endgame . And the men just sort of waiting to help and not sure what to do as the ladies were doing it themselves
Hughie Campbell did say Billy Joel was his third favorite music artist. His favorite is James Taylor. Will we hear "Fire And Rain" or "Handyman" in Season 3? I had no issues hearing Billy Joel songs. Love him.
Grace, I disagree about this show needing flashbacks and I’ll tell you why. In real life we can’t watch flashbacks. That’s why people are able to skew history to fit their desired narrative. No one truly knows what has happened in the past, we can only construct what we think happened based on the information we have; information which is often incomplete, inaccurate, or manipulated by those giving it to us. The manipulation of history and the public’s perception of it is very closely related to politics and the show is exploring both of these. I think the absence of flashbacks makes the show much more complex and keeps the audience on the same page as the characters we’re watching.
My only complaint is that the seasons are too short. Eight episodes aren't enough. And Grace, I think perhaps you are a bit confused. The actress who plays Stormfront is half Jewish, but NOT the actual character. While Stormfront is not Aryan, she is 100% Nazi. SPOILER ALERT BELOW: Black Noir in the show could still be a Homelander clone. How? What if there are several different Black Noir clones? There is the one that played the piano, the Black one Mr Edgar used and the one that looks exactly like Homelander and raped Becca.
I think Butcher was about to try and kill Ryan before Homelander landed near them. His eyes showed hate and rage. Plus he grabbed the crowbar and was walking towards Ryan.
I want to believe he just heard Homelander coming. Becca asking Butcher to save Ryan and then him hurting Ryan would've been horrible. And Butcher can't hurt Ryan anyway 😂.
@@magic75450 I dunno man. He was looking directly at Ryan, never broke his gaze as the menace increased and he picked up the crowbar and Ryan pleaded that he didn't mean to. It was Homelander's "whoosh" that got him to finally look away, the way he reacted was like he wasn't considering Homelander showing up. Remember, earlier that day he also promised on his dead brother he'd get Ryan and Becca together safe - with no intention to keep the promise until the last second. He spent years hunting Homelander because he thought he was responsible for Becca's death, I don't think it's above him to break a promise in a moment of rage to kill a kid who he recently saw as a "supe freak." I think he just had a change of heart when Ryan picked him over Homelander.
Uh Grace, Frenchie said “I guess girls do get it done.” When they were curb stomping storefront. Easy mistake but I just wish that since you spent a good minute explaining how the lack of a callback bothered you that you would have gone back to the scene and made sure one was or wasn’t there. You even showed the still of the scene with Frenchie, MM, and Hughie where he said it. Thanks and have a good day.
The only problem that I have is the last fight with the girls. Starlight is suppose to convert electricity to light so I really wanted to see her turn into a literal energy being. Then say to stormfront (whose powerful now Nazi bitch).
I really enjoyed this season. I think that it's possible that Cindy is Neuman's daughter with their powers being so similar and she kept mentioning that she had a daughter in the show. Which could also explain why she would work for Edgar, if her daughter was being held hostage she could have made a deal to get her back.... just a theory.
Annie is my fav supe because for most male viewers of this show, our personality is closest to Hughie. He's basically like NBC's Chuck or Jay Baruchel in She's Out Of My League.
Originally I thought thought the Church was responsible for the head explosions. Also someone came up with a theory that BN is actually Edgar's son. Does explain why he control over him.
During S2, Billy Butcher started to become useless. What's his endgame? To get back with his wife who doesn't want him back? But the finale really showed some growth to his character.
I only discovered that Dominique McElligott (Maeve) is a very private person which is why she doesn't really appear in the promo tours and panels. You don't see her in the group photos. She stays in Ireland 🇮🇪.
She just wasn't a priority considering all they had on their plate. They already had the homelander/stormfront storyline, the whole lamplighter thing, butcher trying to get Becca, etc.
When Billy was willing to sacrifice his own life for Ryan is what made me love him all over again. For a moment there, I really thought Homelander was going to kill Billy. I also like the scenes when Billy and Annie bonded.
The best people in The Seven are really the two females. Annie and Maeve have the biggest hearts in the team. They're the most good. Maeve is just tired of it all so she smokes and drinks.
Man I don't even know where to begin. This was the craziest season finale I've ever seen. I have no idea how the series will end since it's so far from the comics now and I LOVE IT. I rarely say something should diverge from source material but this was the perfect example of when changing source material is a good idea. The series brings nuance to the characters that isn't there in the comics. Its dark when it needs to be, its gritty when it needs to be and it knows how to dial it back and be genuinely funny when it needs to be. Seriously this is my favorite show right now and I need season 3 ASAP. THAT TWIST AT THE END WAS MIND BLOWING! No pun intended. Or maybe?
Are you kidding me grace?!?! I LOVED Black Noir this season, he’s my favorite, his action scenes were awesome and the almond joy gag was hilarious. Hopefully will see more of him on season 3.
The only things i didnt like in this season (considering season 1 was so flawless): Some scenes jumped to much, I mean, people jumping from location to locations, one scene it was morning next one it was night, maybe they had too many big storylines all at once. I didn't like how easy they broke into Vought Tower, a random vent on the sidewalk , what?!!!! For real no cams, no security really? And this ties up to, in didn't like Lamplighter's death, the character was actually interesting to explore in next season. Or at least have e better death scene. Not just random wtf moment
I totally agree with Grace. Stormfront is not dead. I think she's going to heal, be released and have one eye like her comic book counterpart. And I would like to see her return. She's awful, yes. But she's the kind of awful that I admire in villains.
@@duckymomo6675 yeah. I think that she can take a hit but will recover regardless. Homelander's power is matured. Ryan had pure rage but if she can survive a young kids blast then the can come back.
I completely disagree with how you think that you can see a good part to homelander. They do highlight how his upbringing affected him but he is just a monster now. Even if he loves Ryan he could never be a good parent as a whole
my friend and I were talking about how smart it was to make it week to week because more people saw it and talked about it every week. The season 2 premiere was able to beat Mando and Stranger things season 1. This is a hit and every season will get better and better and more and more people will watch it as well.
@@JohnnyPappas I think this going to be the new normal for streaming services now (except for Netflix, Hulu, and peacock) they will drop the first 3 episodes all at once and then go week to week.
Agreed. Not everyone needs a massive role. The variety of involvement through characters just adds to the whole landscape of the show. A Train and Deep both got fleshed out in a weird and noninvasive way, while the real story was carried by more than enough, heavily involved characters.
So many things about this review bothered me, especially the take on Aya Cash and how she had to play a Jewish character. Also, the nut allergy humanizes Black Noir. Many others summed up my other issues.
Not gonna lie at first i didn't like the weekly release date and was apprehensive about it but it really grew on me and now i like it and it works for this show 😁🔥👊

Am I the only one who thinks that reviewers watch stuff only half paying attention? Like they are to busy thinking of the review and end up missing plot points and little details
The Season 2 finale made me love Billy Butcher again. He was my favorite from Season 1. But as I watched S2, I didn't understand his motive? He is risking other people's lives to have his wife back? A wife who chose her son over him?

This is Kimiko. She's got my back. I would advise not getting killed by her. Her hands rip off the face of her victims.
She is in need of a speaking role though
@@MaxIronsThird she voices animated characters if that counts haha
Yep lol
It's a shame DC wasted her as Katana, because that seems like perfect casting. Oh well, at least now she might have a small role in the upcoming Brad Pitt movie.
The actress playing Stormfront is Jewish not the character omg!
She did admit to homelander in a scence that shes Jewish actually (when she opened up to him)
@Daniel Mokone of course she did
@@NguyenQuang-el1kq I don't remember her saying she was Jewish.
I was screaming and cheering when Stormfront was getting beat by the girls.
The creators should ignore all the criticism of wannabes writers and failed artist and continue to do what they are doing. The Boys seasons 1 & 2 were fantastic. Wouldn't change anything.
Amen
This is THE best superhero show out there, even better than the movies. Antony Starr should get an Emmy or at least a golden globe.
I loved how Maeve was in the backseat for the entire season and then in the last episode she was kind of the MVP. And the scene of the girls beating up Stormfront was very satisfying. No big CGI fights, just the old school fists and kicks.
every time shits going down and i see homelander appearing, i shit my pants a little. im like, 'crap, he's here'. its a credit to the writing acting editing.
Personally I liked the Harley Quinn animated series a bit more, but this is up there.
I don't like how Maeve teleported to where she was needed, almost too convenient and dues ex machina.
Yup that was stupid
of course anyone can play anything under the right circumstances, but to pick a jewish actress to play a nazi needs further exploring.
What does Aya cash have to do with the character stormfront she's acting.
Sometimes Grace ties herself in knots, wtf is she talking about!
Let’s be real this show made us think of Fresca for the first time in years

@@rednas3271 nope! It is real

I literally cheered out loud when Queen Maeve turned up and all three of the girls helped beat up Stormfront.
I loved this season. The ending was great. I don’t know why it’s a problem to put out week to week episode. For me it’s great. Gives me time to watch other shows I’ve been wanting to watch.
I’m just wondering how the lady that escaped the hospital comes into play.
I thought she was exploding heads but nope
Maybe the spin off?
I feel like she was a distraction for the viewers. We saw her walking outside at the end of episode 6, and then the explosions happened in the end of episode 7.
She may come back in season 3, but Stormfront and Lamplighter are dead, so I don't know if it'd add a conflict.
@@roymeares9301 I even suspected the Church or Edgar. Everybody except the Congresswoman. That's how twists should be done.
@@magic75450 stormfront is not dead, the actress is coming back for season 3.
I think that the non spark between Stromfront and Homelander was for reason to show that She was just using his wanting to be "held" as an opportunity to advance her agenda.
The actor who played Ryan (homelanders son) did an excellent job.
i think black noir is actually Stan Edger's son.
the super-clone of himself? Maybe maybe
I think it's a clone
Could be MMs brother
Why? Because they’re both black? Noir looks pretty old to be Edgar’s son.
@@CruderQuotient1 I don't remember at which episode this point was briefly stated, but Homelander is "supposed" to be about 17 years old, which makes me wonder if ageing works differently with some Supes.
Does Grace think Judaism is a race? Stormfront isn’t Jewish. 🤦♂️
Yeah, the "Dawn of the Seven" scenes were great. And they also contributed the story in some ways.
The scene with Homelander yanking his chain on the building was actually filmed for season 1! It was one of the only things Amazon didn’t allow! Loved that they used it for season 2 😂 so Grace, I think that scene perfectly captures the character of Homelander. I disagree that it degraded him in anyway
I was wondering why his hair was so flowey since it had been jelled down all season
Yeah, he’s a sociopath, why do we care about degrading him?
That explains why it feels out of place. I, just like Grace, would end his story on the angry TV stare.
That's my little rant.
if anyone likes Anthony Starr's performance in The Boys, they need to watch him in Banshee. Criminally underrated series.
Banshee is frickin BRILLIANT!!!
Contains one of the best fight scenes I have ever seen on screen in almost 60 years!
Haha they blamed Stormfront for Jeffrey Epstein's death
This show is amazing!
Check under the chyron when the news shows the photo of her and Frederick Vought 😂😂😂
I will have to see that😂
Wow, I totally missed that because it was underneath the headline, but now I see it: "NYPD: CREDIBLE LEAD TIES STORMFRONT TO JEFFREY EPSTEIN DEATH"😄👍
Clicked on this faster than Shockwave wishes he outran the courtroom massacre!
LMAO
French did make the reference by saying " girls DO get it done"
Grace doesn't mention frenchie or mothers milk which both had decent story lines this season.
Grace is deaf lol
It's so incredibly hilarious how many things bothered Grace for being problematic in this season but yet she thinks Homelander is somehow a "grey" character. Lol
She's lacking so much self awareness there.
He’s a damn ninja that doesn’t speak and assassinates on command....he doesn’t need constant character development at this, the writers are taking their time with him
As MM says, Hughie is the foil to Butcher. He keeps Butcher in check, so he doesn't cross the line.
Becca’s death actually made me tear up 😢
That scene was brutal. Ryan repeatedly saying "I'm sorry" was so sad. Like, wow.
Awesome video as always, keep up the amazing work and thank you for the much needed distraction haha 😁😂👍
when Ryan Laser beamed Stormfront, I totally yelled at my screen "DO IT! DOOOO ITTTTT"
Karen hinted in her new video on her RUclips channel that they’re starting filming very soon! I’m so excited!
it’s scheduled to start on february and finish it by august
And if they plan on releasing it weekly. It could be released a lot earlier even while they are still filmimg episodes
@Om Patel Yeah, it should go back to the binging roots.

@@calebwany8422 They clearly meant to not release episodes while still filming...not the binge thing. Weekly is fine and healthier for the community.
Stormfront was Not half Jewish, the actress that plays her is. Why would they have to address that?🤷🏾♂️
Antony Starr is such an amazing talent especially with his face acting.
@@dreamwclker yeah that's true
Pains me to hear you say you didn’t like black noir this season because he’s my favorite lol.
Specially when he gasps during the dead whale scene and when he's crying On the floor after the secret about compound v is released to the public lol. It's the little things :)
xyr3s he’s definitely more humanized this season lol. I just hope he gets a tiny but more screen time next season
He's my favourite as well, but I have to admit, I expected more of him this season. I really hope they're just building to something big for him.
Grace, Frenchie says “Girls do get it done” while Stormfront is being stomped on
Your sympathy for homelander is...concerning. He is antagonist. He is a villain. Just because we understand his motivation DOESNT make him some sort of antihero or tragic figure. He is still cruel. He is still disgusting. He raped Becca. He outed Maeve.
He clapped the discount, knock-off daredevil's ears.
If you are a fan of the show and want its fan base to grow, then you should be on board with the weekly release strategy.
I legit cheered when they started kicking Stormfront. That was so satisfying
FRENCHIE MENTIONED “Girls really do get it done”.
When the girls "got it done." I was cheering. I've never been so happy seeing someone get the crap kicked out of them
My only complaint is that the seasons are too short. Eight episodes aren't enough.
And Grace, I think perhaps you are a bit confused. The actress who plays Stormfront is half Jewish, but NOT the actual character. While Stormfront is not Aryan, she is 100% Nazi.
SPOILER ALERT BELOW:
Black Noir in the show could still be a Homelander clone.
Same. I definitely thought he was about to Jason Todd that kid but had a change of heart when the kid chose him over Homelander.
@@vshazam same
I want to believe he just heard Homelander coming.

I don't believe he'd break Becca's one wish a moment after she dies. Even if he was mad, that'd be completely disrespectful to Becca.
Don't get smart and she already cleared that up in the comments hours before you said anything

I really liked the end shot of homelander, really felt like hes on the edge of the edge of sanity.
I loved this season, but the quality was no where near the first season. Aya Cash is my MVP, she is an incredible actress.

Ok...didn’t we see her cooking with her little daughter through window as Frenchie and Kym were protecting her from roof top?!?
Plus Newman seems too young to have Cindy (a young adult) as a daughter
I only learned about this show when season 2 came out, binged the whole lot.
So amazing. What a surprisingly well made show.
The ending for Frenchie and Kimiko was super wholesome
I only discovered that Dominique McElligott (Maeve) is a very private person which is why she doesn't really appear in the promo tours and panels. You don't see her in the group photos. She stays in Ireland 🇮🇪.
Queen Maeve’s character was a total waste. She was basically a cosplayer for the entire season.
She just wasn't a priority considering all they had on their plate. They already had the homelander/stormfront storyline, the whole lamplighter thing, butcher trying to get Becca, etc.
What? She was used exactly as much as she needed to be. The Deep was a waste imo.
Poking a stick at Maeve shouting do something!!!
Maeve wasn’t wasted we got to know more of her human side... the deep was for sure wasted tho
She was much more proactive in this season compared to the 1st I thought. Still would love to see even more of her tho
When Billy was willing to sacrifice his own life for Ryan is what made me love him all over again. For a moment there, I really thought Homelander was going to kill Billy. I also like the scenes when Billy and Annie bonded.
I think with the addition of Soldier Boy in Season 3 they will talk more about the origin of Compound V and so on
The best people in The Seven are really the two females. Annie and Maeve have the biggest hearts in the team. They're the most good. Maeve is just tired of it all so she smokes and drinks.
Homelander beating his 🥩 on the rooftop was hilarious & deranged🤣

~ Hello darkness, my old friend... ~
Or maybe?
Anyone else see the parallels between Ryan killing he's mother and Jack from Supernatural killing Nora Winchester 🤔. Both shows are run by Eric Kripke
I personally thought season 2 was better than the first. After episode 4 I enjoyed the weekly release.
From episode 5 it was amazing. Like, every episode from that point was one of the best in the entire show so far.
Are you kidding me grace?!?! I LOVED Black Noir this season, he’s my favorite, his action scenes were awesome and the almond joy gag was hilarious. Hopefully will see more of him on season 3.
The only things i didnt like in this season (considering season 1 was so flawless):
Some scenes jumped to much, I mean, people jumping from location to locations, one scene it was morning next one it was night, maybe they had too many big storylines all at once.
That's true
You’re right
The thing I didn’t get (slight carryover from last season), if the boys are on a most wanted list how are they able to walk so freely around New York

Triple -A I didn’t like it
I thought the addition of Stormfront was great though. She was the highlight of S2 with many clever lines. Other highlight was Homelander trying to be a dad to Ryan.
