The best thing about Mark is the fact that he is so respectful of every culture he goes. This is the real passion for food trying out things around the world and appreciating the different pallet of food across globe.
My best friend Tenzin was from Tibet. Dinners with her lovely family were some of my favorite childhood memories! My young mind was amazed to see how different the food was from what I was used to! It was amazing to learn about the variety of the dishes, and the different flavors! My mom says I would want to go over there every night for dinner. Now as an adult, so many Tibetan dishes are pure comfort food for me. I’m so thankful for that influence as a child.
