DJ Art Rich watch closer man Persoon is a amazing fighter but isn’t very accurate and relies on strength/ scaring tactics to win. She busted Katie up man all the way but this is just how it’s judged on points. If Persoon just landed a couple more jabs she would of been running away with the belt.

This should be a very interesting and exciting first fight for Katie at Super Lightweight. It will certainly be highly competitive in my opinion. In Katie, Christina Linardatou is taking on a formidable puncher and highly skilled boxer, who is also very fit, tough and durable. Katie has very quick hands and is a blindingly fast combination puncher.
Cristina has the style and unconventional awkwardness to pose some difficult and interesting equations for Katie to solve though. For starters, Christina may be shorter, but she is much stronger on her legs than Katie, and is able to rapidly move in and out and cover ground swiftly; being able to crouch and bob up and down with regularity as defence or offence requires. She also likes to wing in her powerful overhand rights and has a good jab, which she can double and triple up. Christina is also a very fit woman, with a lot of physical strength, particularly in her legs.
Both of these women come from the Lightweight division, and both moved up or fled to Super Lightweight directly after having incredibly tough and gruelling fights with Delfine Persoon. The main difference here and point of interest, is that Christina was totally worked over by Delfine and pretty much lost every round, whereas Katie was at least competitive throughout most of it. I feel sure however that both ladies will feel mightily relieved and delighted that their foe on Saturday night will be considerable less physically demanding and torrid to fight than Delfine and that they will not possess her level of fitness, intensity, work-rate, punch output, heaviness of punch, ruggedness, roughness or physical strength.
As both Katie and Christina nonetheless possess such good endurance, toughness and durability, I feel that this one will be decided on the score cards. My prediction is that Katie will win a unanimous or majority decision. If Christina can catch Katie with one or two of her huge right hands or manage to apply the pressure she couldn't against Delfine, as she was forced to adapt her game-plan to survive the rounds against her, which led to her trying to stay away and not engage, and hopefully catch her with a huge right hand, maybe things can go the other way. I will however stick with Katie on points.
Either way, this is a very good match up and a real contrast in styles between two very tough ladies, and should be fan friendly and exciting.

Watching videos of Katie and Christina in past fights and in training, Katie is definitely the more fluid puncher and mover, she has quicker hands and probably punches generally harder. Katie is also more highly skilled, was more of a warrior against Delfine Persoon than Christina was, and sets traps far better.
Christina to me looks to be far stronger on her legs than Katie does, she is the better mover, and she is able to change angles more creatively. Christina also triples up her jab better too, she has the bigger overhand right, she throws more forceful combinations when really attacking, and she fights with more energy.
Both ladies are very strong physically, although Christina has in my humble opinion, more strength in her legs. Both are very fit and durable, and both have excellent punch resistance.
Almost too close to call, but based on my observations and on their respective fights with Ms Persoon, I would say that Katie is undoubtedly the flashier more impressive boxer and puncher, but Christina moves better and is perhaps a touch tougher and more rugged.
Against Delfine, Katie was considerably more offensive than Christina, but Christina showed far better mobility and the ability to avoid so many gruelling close quarter exchanges, which Katie would likely have lived to have been able to. I honestly feel that although Christina lost heavily on the scorecards to Delfine, that Christina was better able to minimise the amount of brawling she did with Delfine. It was her legs that managed this, and they also serve her incredibly well on the offence too.
Razor tight points win for Katie is my prediction.

I can understand why someone watching this would think Katie won if they were listening to the commentators. They were calling several shots that were blocked as landed. I honestly do not see how you could argue a case for Katie. She had her moments, but for most of the fight she was on the back foot only throwing pop shots while being out landed. I have no idea why there isn't a Compubox stat for this fight as I would be willing to bet in those rounds Katie was out landed.
All and all, it was a good fight, but I felt like Katie landed too little in the rounds I gave to Christina.
Also, I will leave on this....I do live score cards for fights and out of at least 50+ cards I have only been wrong on two. So before anyone tries to talk, just know I am very accurate with my scoring.

Commentators called it a travesty, tv judges scored it unanimously for persoon, crowd booed taylor after, all the boxers interviewed said it was one of the clearest robberies of all time... Even ur girl was shocked whem she was announced as winner... Claim what you want but know taylor knows when she looks in the mirror that she was beaten that night to a pulp and the winner wsd robbed. How she a fraud like.she has won everything as an amateur and undisputed champion in professional game.its was the judges that score the fight not her and I had it a draw and that means she still not lossed.and for a female fighter she is class and a millionaire not like you.
@Herb Dee you are right about the rematch but I still think she won by a round.persoons punches where mostly hitting Taylor's gloves so to me they not scoring punches.but everyone has there own opinion on the fight
