M-Vave/Cuvave has a CubeSuite software download that'll allow for importing third-party IR's. I haven't messed with it in a while, but I think it might also support importing user amp/pedal profiles made with a Tank G.

I have the tank G. Here’s a summary of the 10 goals for owningit! 1. Amp Simulation: Use amp/cabinet sims when plugging directly into a PA or if your amp fails. 2. Import IRs: Access high-quality tones with professional Impulse Responses. 3. Battery-Powered: Operate without a power supply, ideal for on-the-go or backup power failures. 4. Great video dude! This randomly came up on my RUclips front page and i'm glad i clicked. Your videos are very entertaining and this wee pedal sounds pretty decent for how much it costs. Not surprised you guys in BR go for this! \m/
Frankly I think everyone should do this regardless of where they live. Even if you're not playing a gig where you might get a gun stuck in your face for your shit, you can absolutely still get stuff stolen, and I really don't want to take anything costing thousands somewhere where there's drunk people stumbling around holding drinks. My ideal live setup is like three Behringer pedals lol

Okay. By the looks of it, it seems they're copying some of the naming conventions of the Mooer stuff. It says distortion there and the amp itself has 4 channels) I mean, I think we sort of updated to the Tank G, which is a bit more versatile, but twice the price. There's also the Blackbox one, which seems more aligned with what would happen if you took a Hotone Ampero Mini and made it even cheaper (granted you're hitting "boutique" prices with the Mini already, but you know what I mean.).
There's a way to use the M-Vave Chocolate BT MIDI controller to get 100's of patches in the Cube Baby. You have to code all the MIDI controller codes for each patch, but, it is doable.

I was prepared to write the thing off as serviceable at best, but I do think that the sound you achieved at the end was legitimately quite good. Relative to the price point it's obviously incredible and I fully understand why Brazilian players would be excited to see it become available (those dictatorship - era import duties are pretty brutal for musicians and any kind of technology purchases in general. It probably stifles a lot of domestic production as well due to many components often being available most cheaply from Asia, but still more expensive to get from a Brazilian company even with the taxes. I feel like Brazil would benefit from a change in tariffs on components and parts imported from overseas for which there are no domestic equivalents, but the knowledge needed to do a good job of it would probably be beyond most politicians, assuming that they were not directly profiting).
Took some doing but you can squeeze some tones from that thing, and yes we do suffer from draconian import laws, so anything that is half decent and doesn’t break the bank gets quite popular here!
I think it is worth a try, I also got a bass Cuvave recently to play a gig, gonna put it through its paces on a live situation see if it doesnt disintegrate lol
It sucks that the tariffs on imports are soooo high in Brazil. I know it opens up the local market to build compairable gear but let's face it, there is something to plugging into a Engl , Splawn, Mesa, or Marshall. You the consumer shouldn't be penalized for living in Brazil.

Cali JP A and B - I think this would be distorted fenders, not sure Gas station clean - I think it's referring to how when you go to a gas station toilet it's always so dirty and disgusting that they got the name from that when hearing that distortion lol best guess wins
The coolest thing about Brazil is that we can get sound from any equipment. Any average Brazilian musician can play American music very well. I doubt that an average American musician can play the most elementary Brazilian music.
Cuvave/M-Vave has better options that are almost as cheap, the Black Box and the Tank G. TBH this Cube Baby paired with an external overdrive or distortion pedal as a boost would be more than sufficient, especially if that pedal can run on a battery, like a rechargeable 9V, for example. Joyo Argos Drive or Demon FX Precision Drive clone comes to mind, especially since it has a built-in noise gate, though the Demon FX won't take a battery. If you don't mind getting a cheap Chinese isolated power supply for your other pedals, and using a 3 outlet extension cord, one wall outlet will cover the entire gig for you. Two guitarists using similar rigs = 2 power outlets, one cable in, one cable out, or use cheap wireless. It's legit a one and done.
this is totally the vibe of cheap homegrown DIY stuff or local ultra-budget brands like Exar, Koda, we used to make in Poland and you can still see Russians do stuff like that with Yerasov I think, love it

Cuvave na veia!!!
todos nós amamos o cuvave 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
I have some of those. They were never $12. Never. If you have one, look up the firmware update and the newer Android app. There are some very important features in the latest update. Also, get the latest user manual so that you can fully exploit the new features.
@@nicodemuspapadopoulos4708 I’ve seen them once for that price lol, which sucked because it was right as I was looking it up to make the video
@@ebheron lol i'd love to lol see a link lol to your lol pricing lol information lol
@@nicodemuspapadopoulos4708 I'm not sure if youtube will let me post a link to Aliexpress but I remember it was similar to this one.
Notice the price rn for me is 30 dollars, but there is an image on the listing saying the pedal is 20.99. And at the say of editing it said 12.99.
My stupid mistake was instead looking at the price average I just picked the lowest I saw, people keep getting confused about it, will never make the same mistake twice lol

i found one of €2.94 on aliexpress
Brazilian Miku got me.

shittcow dist 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brazilian here - I hadn't actually ever heard of this thing before, but it checks out with the kinda thing people here would love!
By the way, *reading* the name and hearing the "cu" joke explanation was initially not that funny, but as soon as I heard you SAY "cuvave" like a Brazilian would, I immediately laughed. It's just an inherently goofy word for Portuguese speakers, I guess!
can you please share the setup/parameters do you use ?
@@gmartins-dev for the Cuvave? The amp model was the Shittcow Dist and the cab was the Peavey + Mesa Oversized, gain was at max and tone around 1 o clock.
Delay and Reverb I dont remember right now but I’ll check later if you want!
@@ebheron great thanks I'll try that 😃👍🏻
John Cena Mao was a nice surprise.
This Cuvave really embiggens your guitar tone.

Do you know if the IR can be bypassed when used with a poweramp, or is it always baked in?
The IR can be bypassed, it was bypassed on my test
@@ebheron okay nice, it also sounded like it. Valeu 🤘
