Hey Elliott,I just bought my first Prius YESTERDAY! A 2007 generation two. I’m late to the party at 62 years old. But I am really enjoying your videos and learning a lot. Plus I am a huge huge fan of Zevi Root beer. I drink about three or four cans a day! I love it and it keeps me fit. Keep the videos going and keep drinking that root beer.
How's your experience going with the Prius two months into ownership? I'm eyeing a 2014 right now. Been a car guy all my life but never owned a hybrid.
Cant believe as a car guy, I'm looking at one of these as my next car. Motor tax, insurance, and Irish roads mean fun cars aren't viable. Not to mention fuel costs. Solid, cheap to run and space... they hold their value damn well too.
Dude, don’t be embarrassed. I have a Hellcat, Corvette, and a Maserati and I drive my Prius the most out of all of them. Once you get over the initial embarrassment, they are actually quite good cars. And you’ll find that most of the bad reputation of the Prius stems from the type of people that typically drive them, not the cars themselves.
@@ElliottAlvis Not embarrassed at all. I've driven my sisters Gen2 a bit, and it's actually fun! But as a guy who has had many Japanese cars (including forbidden fruit in the US such as Glanza V) it's a departure. Ireland is stupid when it comes to travel/transport. Motor tax, anywhere from €90-€1500+ per year, depending on CO2, or engine size if pre 2008. Petrol is about €1.16 per litre, and that's low prices for here. Insurance is another monster.... :p
Ha! All of my friends who know I'm a car guy are surprised I love my Prius. Until they drive it... I just sold my Gen 3 and I bought a Gen 4. Sweet car.
Hi there, I’ve had a vw Jetta foe 15 years and it was just totaled:( I am sold on getting a Prius to dry camp and travel the US. Does it matter to you whether or not it has the lithium battery ? Any advise you can share with me would be great
We have a third-gen plug-in. Lots of fun to get 60, 70, or even 80 miles to the gallon, depending on the miles driven between charges. Only costs 45 cents to charge it overnight and the 4.4kw battery can take the car electric-only for up to 15 miles. The real secret to higher mileage is to put it in HV mode when cold and let the engine start and warm-up for a minute before driving. Another secret is to put quiet tires on the car. Makes the long term driving experience much more enjoyable. I have found for freeway driving, the Gen 3 has four popular speeds that work well for California freeways. For the slow lane, 62 and 68 mph work best for maximum mileage when following trucks or slower vehicles. I find most semi-trucks go about 62 mph, smaller trucks go 68 mph. Just set the cruise and forget it. For the center lane, 78 mph will keep you up with car traffic and doesn't penalize you too much on fuel economy. My Prius actually cruises really well at 82 mph which will let you compete with the faster drivers in the fast lane, but often puts you near the fuel gulping power range. Overall a fun car with a video game console right in your face. Maximize the mileage is the sport, and with some care, I can often get 75 or 80 mpg on my 30 mile round trip commute.
Lol my prius is the only car I've had that I've actually felt compelled to wash regularly, usually I just take my car to wash the salt off after it snows, but my prius I take atleast once a month to a local self wash
My 2012 is at 204k and needs nothing, looks great, runs out like a champ ... even the seats are in great shape. Ive heard a few people call the gen 3 the best prius but also one of toyotas best of all time... ill be back @ 400k
We've owned a 2nd gen ('07 Touring) and current own a 3rd gen ('15 Four) -- we bought both new. So we've been Prius-ing for 13 years now. They are incredibly practical haulers -- TONS of room inside. The third gen is MUCH more comfortable to drive long distance (ours has heated seats, power lumbar) and those 2nd gen seats are painful over long distances. I found the 2nd gen to be better with front storage, generally (more convenient, easier to use). Plus that fold-down dual cupholder at the back edge of the console was brilliant in the 2nd gen...and missing in the 3rd gen. The shifter console thing in the 3rd gen seems cool at first, but I found it to be a total waste of space long term. The little storage area underneath is helpful, but really I found the openness of the 2nd gen more appealing overall. Overall we found the 3rd gen to be more refined overall than the 2nd gen -- smoother, more powerful, better driving, and better fuel mileage ('07 we got 38mpg over 100k miles of driving, '15 we are at 41+mpg over 50k miles) In our 3rd gen we have downloaded the Entune app, sync'd it to the car...and NEVER used it in the 4+ years we've owned it. Ever. We have never found anything worthwhile in the app to even bother messing with. We have found the on-board GPS to be a disappointment, too. While it navigates adequately, the resolution and colors are really low-rent to the point of being useless to help you get a sense of where you are and the location of the roads around you. We have looked at 4th gens when they first came out, but it didn't appear that they had as much usable room in the back and bought the '15 instead of a '16.
Greg Beachy awesome Greg! That was an incredibly thorough breakdown of your ownership experience, and it sounds like you’ve really gotten to know both cars well! I sure would like to add a third gen to my collection one day, and I’m sure once I drive a fourth gen, I’ll want one of those too 😎 Thanks for watching!
We've had a 1st Gen (2003), 2nd Gen (2006), and 3rd Gen (2010)... The 2010 burns A LOT of oil, and takes full sythetic. Expensive to opperate, the 2nd gen, specfically the 2006 is the best in my opinion, have had to do almost no maintenance over the 246k miles driven. Water pump replaced twice, and the traction battery once.
@@Leadnotfollow At 180 000 kilo meters he's barely entering the risk zone milage. I own 2x 2010 one has gasket done at 205k miles, the other one shot at 258k miles that's ~400 000k
I can unashamedly admit that I love the higher trim third gens (four and five) with the dual bulb HIDs and the stylish 5 spoke polished wheels. Very sleek and not in your face styling like gen 4.
I agree. I have a 2012 Prius Four with the solar + sunroof so the roof is almost entirely black/dark which I think offsets the white body nicely, especially with tinted windows. 11 years after I bought it, I still like the looks of it, especially compared to the weird looking gen 4. The new 2023 Prius looks amazing and I'd love to get one but I think I can get another 5+ years out of my 2012, and I still love it, so I'm gonna keep it going (even though it has become the #1 target of catalytic converter thieves... dealing with getting mine replaced as we speak)
So on the Hybrid System Indicator, the center line represents the limit for electric only driving (when everything is already warmed up). The EV button is kind of pointless, and only useful if you’re going out to move it and don’t want the engine to start up for its warmup cycle, you can press EV mode right after powering up so the engine doesn’t do it’s warm up. That’s at least it’s one good use for me. But the Gen.3 can drive on electric only with the engine at 0 RPM up to 46 mph, (42 mph for Gen.1 and Gen.2). If you keep the bar inside that center line. When in EV mode (pressing the button) it kicks off at 25 mph, but you can actually accelerate up to 25 mph decently when you use the EV button, just don’t let the hybrid system indicator bar go into the power portion. I usually keep my finger on or near the button and turn off EV mode at about 24 mph so it doesn’t beep and give the warning, and right before I turn it off I let off the throttle enough to make sure that the bar goes below the center line so it still stays in electric mode.
Austin Kinser this was the kind of detailed explanation I needed! I knew that my second gen would stay in electric only up to 42mph so I was surprised that EV Mode kicked itself off after 25mph but you’re detailed explanation makes a ton of sense. Thanks man!
@@ElliottAlvis That is a neat feature in the 3rd gen cars. We keep the ECO mode switch on most of time and use that particular graphic in the hybrid display to modulate the throttle to maximize the time in electric-only mode in daily around-town driving. It is nice having a graphic show you where you are in maintaining electric mode as opposed to the 2nd gens where you have to do it by feel.
I had 2014 prius - i would average 55 to 60 mpg. 66mi round trip, 5days/week, filling the 10gal tank every 3wks. I was broke then, I loved it! My wife hated it!
My 2010 has the solar panel. WOW love it. It runs a fan that sucks the hot air out of the cabin while the car is parked(been running it forever). Replaced the big battery, was easy. You can find cheaper Toyota battery by shopping thru the different dealerships(for the dealership only discounts) sites, they have portals into Toyota parts USA. Saved 1K doing that( 5 local dealerships, 1 had a sale price). But you can find better battery replacements on the market now and up your mileage. Just never cover the vent for the air intake on the big battery. It's on the passenger back door fender interior trim, hot batteries fail sooner. The solar panel running the fan is helping extend the life of my big battery, by not letting the cabin bake in the Florida sun.
I have a lot of respect for Mr Alvis and his videos. Prius deserves respect too, one of the all time best cars👍" Prius hate" is truly the dumbest thing ever, think about it. Great video Elliott😊 Third generation is very roomy too, actually the roomiest car for my long legs that I've ever had.
Bought my 2012 grey Prius back in 2017 with 91k miles on it for $10,100. The original owner said he bought it brand new back in 2011 and this Prius was sitting in the show room, it came fully loaded with 17 inch rims, navigation and leather seats. The vehicle looks practically brand new when I purchased it, even the leather seats have no scratches and no sign of wear and tear. Toyota dealer replaced front brakes and struts, Hybrid battery, Egr and both coolant flushed and refill @146k miles. Egr was a recall so I didn’t have to dish out any cash. Hybrid battery was still good but a friend of mine who works forToyota dealer suggest that I replace it, cost me $900 for a brand new hybrid battery. I replaced the spark plugs every 90k miles and oil change every 5k miles. I was living in Northern California and moved to Texas last year, prior to moving i had the water pump and thermal stat replaced, new pcv valve, clean throttle body and hybrid battery fan, new timing gasket. I’m currently over 197k and my Prius’s running like it’s brand new, only had all the works done as a preventive maintenance because my friend does it for cheap, nothing was wrong it with. I have no oil consumption and never have a check engine light on except for oil change warning light. With the prices of new vehicles escalating I’m hoping to drive it for another 100k.
Hi Wayne, I'm glad to read your comments because I can see some preventative items to address down the road. I recently bought a 2014 with very low miles from the original owner. I never thought I'd get a Prius! I've had an 03 Civic Hybrid and always saw the Prius as too odd looking for my tastes. But it's a commuting car for me which serves it's purpose well. I'm a native Texan and grew up in the Austin area. Many here won't say this lol, but Welcome to Texas! I absolutely love California and by that I mean it's nature and scenery. I've visited the bay area twice and fell in love with it when Iast visited in 2012. I even considered moving there, that was until I saw how much the cost of living was. I've heard it's changed a lot for the worse since then. Looks like it from what I see from here. But that doesn't take away from it's beauty. I may just have to take a trip up the Pacific coast highway in the Prius! Haha. Hope your Prius is doing well for you. Now that you're in Texas, where do you get yours serviced? Take care! Julian
Just saw your reply, apologize for the delay my friend. After 2 years in Burnet Texas I definitely love the peacefulness here in the hill country. My Prius Head Gasket finally gave in at 210k miles, brought it to Prius World of Austin to get it fix, been running great with zero issues.
The best car I have owned in my lifetime .... trust me i have owned many expensive and faster cars however nothing comes close to practicality when it comes to the Prius. Fyi : I own the Gen 3 too ...... Taken it to multiple cross country road trips and in one case even slept in my car overnight in 108 F temperature in Arizona with the A/C on and had to turn in to low because it got so DAMN cold ... Prius consumed 1/2 Gallon of Gas to using the A/C all night ===> $2 Bucks !! It was incredible !!
I'm a car guy and bought my first Prius last month. I really wanted to hate it but it's a solid little car. It's been a good experience so far and I actually like my 2015 so far.
@@ElliottAlvis I think of it as a means to an end kind of vehicle. It allows me to save money for cars that I am truly passionate about. Not that I don't care about my Prius, I spent 8 hours 3 stage polishing and ceramic coating it as I look after my investments.
Owned both a 2nd and 3rd gen (for work) the 3rd gen is MUCH MUCH better! The 1.5 in the 2nd is too slow to do anything and is really uncomfortable. The 1.8 is tons better around town and can actually do highway speeds. It's also slightly more comfortable
I appreciate your comment about highway speeds. I drive from Eddyville KY to Nashville TN on a regular basis. My Prius has no trouble running down I-24 80 to 90 mph all day long. (...and yes, I've driven this route so much that I know where ALL the cops regularly set up their speed traps. )
I bought a 2015 prius two years ago with 50k miles on it, it now has 82k and have not had any problems whatsoever. I was told that the gen 3 prius burn oil around 100k but then I read on a blog that the 2015 had different rings & pistons so I’m just hoping that I don’t experience any oil burning anytime soon.
The Prius is still the best hybrid car out there imo. I think that’s because it was one of the first hybrid cars produced, and with Toyotas reliability track record you can’t go wrong with that.
Michael Sackstein You’re absolutely right! They are a rare example of being the first and best mass produced hybrids. They are just unbelievable feats of engineering that get overlooked by people every day!
I just bought a 2015 and it’s nice! Less then 15,000 and better then 50MPG!!! With gas at almost 5$ here near San Francisco I can definitely appreciate 50+ MPH
I just brought a 2010 Prius with 73K miles. Still looks brand new. I'm learning all about the car. I love my 2010 also, but it's hard to find a 2010 or 2012 Prius with LKA feature.
@@ElliottAlvis You have a Gen 2, you've driven a Gen 3. Now try to find a Gen 1 to test out. I have one and it's cool in a nerdy kind of way. The Windows '98 of hybrids.
Or if you have the factory 15” alloy’s you can run 215/60-15 Yokohama Avid’s and it rides much smoother, steers better, less twitchy and they fill out the wheel well’s just right.
bought a 2020 le in feb. have to drive it on sundays so my gas does not get too old. today 128 miles 62.8 mpg and i tend to drive with a lead foot. 2/20 to 7/20 only 2800 miles 1 oil and filter change and tires rotated
The flame job increases the power by 50%. Interesting fun fact, in Brazil there is no "ethanol free" gas. By law every gas is missed with 27% ethanol. You can find 100% ethanol too, its very common. :)
Mauricio Mariano 27%! Wow! That’s a lot. And pure ethanol is just insane! It’s crazy how different things are over there! Thanks for watching as always man!
@@hedgehogthesonic3181 in Brasil we have only 100% Ethanol, but you can blend on the gas thank. E100 is very rare because on colder climates it makes very hard for the car to start, cars in Brazil use a system that preheats the injectors to ease the starting when you are with E100. My car have 8 more cv on E100 compared to 73%gas/27%ethanol mix.
I own a 4th gen.. It brought tears to my eyes when u ran it thru an automatic car wash.😁 The ONLY thing I do not like is I can't hook up a CD player, yes, I'm old school..NOTHING works. They have single add ons, BUT NOTHING WORKS bc system won't recognize.. Maybe someone can do a video whem they DO. (by the way, I've seen on prius chat other's ask TOO!)😁

Ethanol free is all I use in my vintage cars. Even cars that are designed to use e85 have a 25-33% fuel economy drop. I had a company GMC Sierra that was e85 capable and the trip from Grand Island to Fort Morgan saw a drop from 19mpg to 13mpg.
BILL GORMAN true, it’s important to use ethanol free gas in vintage cars. And E85 capable cars experience worse fuel economy, but better performance when you fill up with actual E85 not just the BS mixture that all gas has in it these days.
I got a used Prius since it was about the same price as all other used cars and hey I’ll save money on gas. Win win. Also I hear they last a long time.

I saw a RUclips video maybe 2 years ago about a modified 3rd generation Prius. The shifter had been replaced by a dial with pushbuttons for selecting the gears. It was made by an aftermarket company, in Japan, I think...IIRC.
My pleasure vehicle is a 2019 Camaro SS 1LE, and my daily driver is a 2010 Prius (v trim). I love both vehicles for what they respectively represent and offer.
Ah, that sweet, sweet Prius content. So many nice Priora. My brother has a 3rd Gen and I really want one! Considering trading in my 05 for a '12 or something similar...
You should really go test drive a new Rav4 hybrids, We own one.. 0-60 is 7.5 seconds, 15 second 1/4 mile and its a 40mpg highway cruiser, all wheel drive , has ground clearance and great interior room.. Has to be the best hybrid of them all, unless you want that extra 10mpg of a prius.. but the ground clearance, interior room, performance, AWD, and towing ability makes the Rav4 hybrid a absolute killer combo. Well was untill the Rav4 prime was announced...
Ebacherville I really want to try one out sometime! I think the RAV4 hybrid and RAV4 Prime are really going to eat into Prius sales and that’s not a bad thing necessarily. The RAV4 hybrids really offer the whole package.
I want that passed by a Prius bumper sticker! I didn't realize I have a Gen 3 till now. My bank, Toyota and my ins. Company all said the VIN says 2. It's a 2011
Elliott Alvis Yes, give us a Ford C-Max review! My 2013 has 174k. It’s been rock solid, and fun to drive. If only it got amazing mpg like a Prius! I’ve owned 4 Prii, I still have a 2004 as my backup car. I’ve had a 2005, 2012, 2012 v five. Loved em all!
You forgot shoutout Dr. Pepper lol. But I feel like if you get in the Volt or ELR and drove it then you’ll want those more Elliot lol. I mean you already acquired ELR but...
Hi Elliot, I'm currently indecisive about the Prius P3. I'm looking for my next car(family is growing) and trying to decide between a 2008 P2 or a 2011 P3. $6000 vs $8500. Could you please explain your experience with them? Is the P3 worth the upgrade? From videos to me it's like a better interior, better seats and that's pretty much it. To me the P2 despite its age still looks fine and actually buyable for 2-3 years to come. What are your thoughts?
Szilveszter Sebők I think the P3 is a slight upgrade from the P2, but it’s mostly interior features. The P2 is still a very good car and you really can’t go wrong with either car. If the P3 you’re looking at is in considerably better condition than the P2, it might be worth the extra money. But other than that, you can’t go wrong either way.
I want a gen3 as well! When I saw some of the specs like hp and upgraded battery I was intrigued. Mine does not come close to the number for mpg like most. Thank you for that tour and drive exp.
Hi! How did you optain hybrid display on that monitor? On my 3rd gen I have the same monitor, or similar, the B9016 and was trying to optain those infos. Thanks for video
Please please please try a 4th gen. The 3rd gen is fine but it understeers badly, the 4th gen can actually go round corners (but maybe this doesn't matter in the USA).
I will hopefully get to experience a 4th gen soon! The cornering this doesn't matter *as* much here in Kansas because its all flat and straight, but it is important to me personally so I'll be anxious to see how it handles! Thanks for watching!
Hey Elliott! I have a Prius 3rd Gen, and I know what you mean about keeping it clean. If you show up literally anywhere, with a dirty Prius...... Yikes! People get all fire and brimstone on you, because as you say, you clearly don't have your life together.
Elliott Alvis I really do! I saw a Prius yesterday... taxi... was meant to be white I’m sure, but it looked grey! The colour of sadness! Imagine all the diseases you would get catching that taxi for a 15 minute trip! COVID-19 would be the least of your worries! 😷
Same. I play cat and mouse with cleaning crew at the complex I live in. Whenever I hear those leaf blowers go off, game is on. It really bugs me when my dark blue Prius gets coated with dust😤
The second Generation has one advantage over later models..... If.... or should I say ..... When you catalytic converter is stolen, you can still drive it to a shop to get a repair or whatever. It will be noisy but you can do it.... Don't try this with any of the later models. You will need to tow it.
Another question, did someone of you change the 12v battery in the trunk? My original one is Yuasa with gas exit hole, there's a small connection to the external to let the gas go out. Now I changed the battery and the seller installed a sealed gel battery, with no hole. Is it safe? Whatdo you think guys?
Oh damn!....and I was so excited to have moved upmarket to 4 slice toasters!. Enough with the appliances...and don't worry; nobody actually WANTS a prius.
I used to make fun of them as well. But when car shopping the wife had me test drive one. I had bought it in my mind before I got out of the parking lot. To be fair, I'm a HUGE (figuratively, and literally) car guy, I've never had a car brand or type I've hated. I was pretty hard on Prius owners over the years though.
It's 2024 and I just bought a 2011 Gen III. Even now, it gets a lot of attention. I can really identify with a lot of what you folks have said. I will say that my Prius is a beautiful Gold color and I have seen no other Priuses in my area that are this color. This little car of mine is GORGEOUS! The other day, I was putting gas in my Prius. The guy at the pump, filling his Dodge Ram 4X4 next to me very snarkily said, "I hate the *&%* Priuses." I replied: "Of course you do. That's because you need to drive something that compensates for your really little penis."

Marv Barr haha, thanks Marv! The Prius is a fun car!
Mr. Waffles that’s good! I’m glad you take pride in your Prius. These cars deserve it. Thanks for watching!
Overall we found the 3rd gen to be more refined overall than the 2nd gen -- smoother, more powerful, better driving, and better fuel mileage ('07 we got 38mpg over 100k miles of driving, '15 we are at 41+mpg over 50k miles)
In our 3rd gen we have downloaded the Entune app, sync'd it to the car...and NEVER used it in the 4+ years we've owned it.

Hi, is much more space in Prius 3 rear sets than Prius 2 or different is not so big?
We've had a 1st Gen (2003), 2nd Gen (2006), and 3rd Gen (2010)... The 2010 burns A LOT of oil, and takes full sythetic. Expensive to opperate, the 2nd gen, specfically the 2006 is the best in my opinion, have had to do almost no maintenance over the 246k miles driven. Water pump replaced twice, and the traction battery once.
Water pump replaced twice? Out of preventive maintenance? Or is it almost as bad as a Ford?
8:30 Crossing the center line is when the engine kicks on. The eco light stays on until you go into the red power band
I have a december 2012 Prius. Best car i ever had! I drove 180.000 Km with it never had any pronlems. Our number one family car

Didn't have any head gasket issues?
@@Leadnotfollow At 180 000 kilo meters he's barely entering the risk zone milage. I own 2x 2010 one has gasket done at 205k miles, the other one shot at 258k miles that's ~400 000k
I can unashamedly admit that I love the higher trim third gens (four and five) with the dual bulb HIDs and the stylish 5 spoke polished wheels. Very sleek and not in your face styling like gen 4.
Derek Chisholm you’re absolutely right! The higher trim gen 3’s are about as good looking as these cars get! Thanks for watching man.
@@Kampy_I have a XLE AWD LIMITED Venza ,, in Blizzard Pearl ,, The Prius is a Mini Venz
Thanks man! Yeah, the Prius hate is so unnecessary, they are fantastic cars!
Is yours a 2010?
Ngl, I bought a 2008 prius in the same color because of you. So far, love the car a lot
I'm a car guy and bought my first Prius last month. I really wanted to hate it but it's a solid little car. It's been a good experience so far and I actually like my 2015 so far.
You get it! Thats kind of how I was. But once you get past the stereotype, its just a solid vehicle
Put the slightly taller tyres that Gen 3 uses on the Gen 2 (your speed will now be ever so slightly under estimated)
That’s good! Yeah the 2015 is the best of the gen 3’s. Glad you’ve had good luck!

Pranav Joshi I do what I can 💁🏻♂️. And wasn’t that Civic awesome?!

The flame job increases the power by 50%. Interesting fun fact, in Brazil there is no "ethanol free" gas. By law every gas is missed with 27% ethanol. You can find 100% ethanol too, its very common. :)

After watching this, I really wanna ride Josh
I want a gen3 as well! When I saw some of the specs like hp and upgraded battery I was intrigued. Mine does not come close to the number for mpg like most. Thank you for that tour and drive exp.

Hey Elliott! I have a Prius 3rd Gen, and I know what you mean about keeping it clean. If you show up literally anywhere, with a dirty Prius...... Yikes! People get all fire and brimstone on you, because as you say, you clearly don't have your life together.
Vance Warren I’m glad you understand where I’m coming from on that Vance! 😂. You can tell a lot about a person by how clean they keep their Prius!
Why is that?
Another question, did someone of you change the 12v battery in the trunk? My original one is Yuasa with gas exit hole, there's a small connection to the external to let the gas go out. Now I changed the battery and the seller installed a sealed gel battery, with no hole. Is it safe? Whatdo you think guys?
I’d say it’s safe. Lots of people use those!

Very nice! We don’t have to worry about hills here in Kansas, but I believe you! Thanks for watching man.
2nd gen prius last way longer(400,000mi+), if your gonna ever change up id reccomend the smaller cheaper and better driving prius c, or the larger prius v. I drove them all as a courier they were company cars so i never paid for a thing.
400,000 miles??? That's amazing! Was that on the original Hybrid battery?
@@jonathanfiel6215 yes the original batteries, and when they go bad I'd replace the cell myself. The thing that stopped working that mattered was the dash would stop working then no speedometer or gas guage also the odo stopped adding up the miles when it would not work
Did you extend your garage in 👍
thanks

Should have a look at the itech model with the solar panel roof sunroof,17s, radar cruise. We just bought our 3rd Gen, also have a 2012 Prius C which is now my daily have an old 911 that was costing way to much to commute in so it's now the weekend fun car and the 3rd Gen is the family wagon. The Prius C is actually cheaper on my work commute then my motorbike which was surprising.
Darren It749 id love to find a third gen with the solar roof! And I’m interested to hear your thoughts on the Prius C as well. That’s amazing that it’s cheaper to commute in than a motorcycle!

The ethanol-free gasoline will hurt your wallet. LOL.
Prius video or pop over to Josh’s house ?
3rd Gen looks better but 2nd gen is more reliable. Seen a few with over 600k 400k miles
If I was a wizard, I'd figure out how to install and connect an electric Rav4 axle in the back.
