They should have just split their dev team or sell the IP so a different studio can make it. But they want to bury both the games in the past and move on to shitty warlanders. They should have just made a new entry to the happy series instead of warlanders. ARRGHHHHHH
It’s baffling to see a company so dumb they decide to lock both of their best games behind closed doors and try to push out a game that is just a worse and boring looking happy wars clone
Quite honestly, the games were a fun set of casual RPGs, as I've been saying for years, they needed to port these to the PS4 and Switch cause I remember they rewarded psn players just for playing not to mention it would have been great for the switch, the games had so much potential, and as far of the financial thing, honestly either let Microsoft buy the studio or let another developer handle the games
As someone who played Happy Wars, and tried Warlander, I have no idea what they were thinking. Why spend so many resources to rehash the same game, but worse in almost every way, especially the artstyle. Warlander looks so generic compared to Happy Wars which really makes me wonder why they made a whole new game instead of trying a big update for their already existing game on PC, like maybe giving the PC versions the console's extra game modes. I'll stop myself before I go on too long though.
See for some odd reason toy logic they for some reason disassociate with the Happy Series like they were with the warlander they tried so hard to do that they made the same mistakes that they did in happy wars and it basically has the same issues it's like history is repeating itself warlander failed really badly because it barely has enough players to get full lobbies in any platform the reason happy wars took off in the first place took off in the first place was because it's free and it was a unique hybrid of two game genres RPG and Hack and Slash similar how to Xenoverse 2 Dragon Ball did fighting game plus RPG people like that sort of stuff and to be honest warlander just complicates the simple structure that happy wars had level one gear in warlander can still use a buff and it basically makes it not balance because because then you going to quit the best armor in the game but then equip one gray tier item and be able to save on so much cost shut down was because they wanted to shift focus on warlander it's unfortunate but what can we do
why are you still talking about this game years after it shut down? just give up and accept the fact its not coming back, also no it cant be an offline game because its a gacha game with microtransactions. this game was trash.
