I’m so glad he headed in exactly the wrong direction.
You mean the right direction
I just clicked on the video and I’m watching an ad, but I can only assume he’s gonna walk straight into some Cazadors or deathclaws instead of prim
@@rayman2902 he wishes it was cazadors.
@@rayman2902 👌
I went straight to the big mountain dlc mid gecko killing tutorial.
If this is your favorite fallout, then this video was like soft torture
Dear lord
Ruff:"I dont need luck in vegas"
Damn
He did in fact need Luck in New Vegas.
Just for any future playthroughs:
Wild Wasteland is NOT a difficulty setting. All it does is add MORE Easter Eggs. As it states "Not for the faint of heart, or SERIOUS OF TEMPERAMENT."
With it selected, you get EE like Indiana Jones' skeleton and hat in a fridge RIGHT outside of the the starting town. But if it's not selected, the fridge won't be there.
Baby death claw in a dog house that is as strong as a full grown one
“I gonna cause a Rex Splosion!”
That’s Rex’s catchphrase.
There is no " run " button, your character moves faster with your weapons holstered. The game is designed to keep you from just running away from enemies, rely instead on caution and your weapons.
Meh, if it is true that they should have added the sprint even if it is in a limited way like just assorted mods do, nothing is broken once you play it like that, and if you feel it is broken then you have never played it a shooter game in your life
@@SkyStar300 i’m all for modeling the game, but I do feel like if you’re wanting to play a game it’s natural state for the first time. You should probably stay away from mods at first and then lean into them. The game never had sprint. There are perks to make you move faster in light armor and such and a mod for sprint would ruin that.
@@EspadaOU812 Yes, but there is the problem, they created a problem (which is the lack of mobility) and then they give you a "solution" that is a perk to go faster, which is stupid because In addition to wasting a perk on something that should already be implemented in a more natural way like the classic sprint, you get the perk in an already advanced phase of the game and that they give you that mechanic as a perk is a joke
Bro playing the game like Neighbor's 7 year old kid
I’m sorry but there’s playing a game your way but then there’s literally ignoring every single thing the game is telling you on how to play it.. that type of thing just seems kinda weird to me… skipping the dialogue, the npcs and pop up notifications telling you what you are doing right and wrong.. I feel like the hobo murder playthrough are for your second and third playthrough when you know the mechanics of the game
So...he plays like Egoraptor.
Ignoring all the tutorials, then raging about how he doesn't know how to play?
Probably the most painful video I've ever seen
Ikr 😂
I'm a FNV fan but this video made me lose hair and gave me syphilis.
It kind of hurt watching Ruff dump so much equipment that he could have repaired to improve and maybe sold later.
My thoughts exactly, the game told him about durability but he ignored the prompt and then an hour later asked if durability was a thing😂
I have come to the realization that Eric says he has seen and played everything but he hasn't lmao. How do you forget Benny bro
They're a reaction channel, they've done it multiple times lol. it's just they say either they ain't seen it or they don't remember anything when watching or playing a old popular show/game so they get more views for the "blind reaction/playthrough"
@CaseyC-bg4bb Bro Benny is the entire start of the game. And even then, not knowing how charisma works?
It also hurt to watch him walk right pass the Gun Runners and not talk to the vender to see what was available.
Let’s be real he wouldn’t be able to afford it anyways lol
17:57 Two Bears High Fiving
Fun Fact (for those who don’t know): This game is so great, it made Goodsprings popular to the point where they’ve been recently hosting an Annual Fallout New Vegas Celebration.
The strongest Melee weapon you can get early in game, is the great Khan chance’s knife, which is north of good Springs near a tribal, you’ll need to dig up Chance’s Grave with a shovel to get his knife
It's near the Divide DLC starting point actually..
One thing to remember is that besthesda themselves didnt really make this, it was Obsidian who did using bethesdas assets
Ruff struggling with the Sunny interactions reminds me of that one game journalist struggling with the cuphead tutorial. Infuriating to watch
My favorite Fallout. The Honest Hearts dlc is probably one of the best dlc's, and Joshua Graham is like the top 7 best characters in Videogames.
Fallout 4 is the best. But I will give you Joshua as one of the best
@@a.r.5100 I think one of my favorite parts about Fallout 4 is the silver shroud quest and stuff you can get, The Thompson and outfit.
Yes, HH is one of my favorite parts of any game ever... Just roaming the landscape... The random rain... Ahhh
Dead Money DLC is on top
To each their own, I personally prefer Lonesome Road and Ulysses but Joshua is a very, very close second. Almost a tie
Ah got to love the opening narration by Ron Pearlman aka Slade from Teen Titans. Also Rest In Peace Matthew Perry (the guy that shot you in the opening).
His name is Benny. RIP Matthew Perry ❤
This playthrough is like an ad for the mouse and keyboard combo. 😀
This is how I played the game as a 12yo in 2010
It’s not gonna be very enjoyable this way tbh
Not an action game really, the dialogue and world building are the fun
Im starting to pick up he might want a sprint button, but i could be wrong.
man he should've just restarted that build was a disaster 😭
Caravan is what Gwent addicts were all into before Gwent existed 😂😂
Love this game. Bethesda constantly shit the bed with roleplay aspects and cohesive storytelling with fallout, so no wonder this game made by the guys who made fallout did it better than the guys who just bought the IP 😂
I think New Vegas should have been 2D like the original Fallouts. I really don’t like how the RPG elements mix with the FPS elements. It really frustrated me how nobody would die if you shot them in the head a bunch of times. I have completed every Fallout game except for New Vegas and that’s mostly because I just don’t find it very fun to play.
Bethesda defines RPG games for two decades with Skyrim and FO3
Josh Sawyers dickriders: God they don’t understand RPG’s
No they don’t have the in depth faction systems that didnt work in new Vegas, but there is actual good storytelling in Bethesda games, to say there isn’t is ignorant fanboyism. Oxhorns highest viewed videos aren’t new Vegas lore videos for a reason, because most people don’t give a shit about west coast fallout lore because it’s obsolete and made no sense, cry about it on the FNV sub some morw
@@rakoonshampoo2608no, most people don’t find it fun to play, it takes about 160 mods to make it playable, there’s a section of RPG gamers who enjoy an extremely difficult experience, but the issue is fallout was never that, it became that in the modded marketplace, and that fan base is very vocal but only makes up about 15k or so people, fallout has sold MILLIONS of copies, they’ve never realized there a small minority to Bethesda
@cl4-tpgaming Bethesda haven't made an RPG since Morrowind and Oxhorn is a pedo.
Stay losing, shill.
@@cl4-tpgaming
Most people don’t find it fun to play but it’s the most beloved fallout in the series? Most people don’t give a shit about west coast fallout lore but many fans were seething over Bethesda seemingly butchering it in the show? (I know Bethesda didn’t butcher it). You can’t play it without 150 mods but it’s fine if you do it with Morrowind because it’s not New Vegas?
I know New Vegas elitists are insufferable and you have a right to have a grudge with the game because of it, but you can’t deny greatness. New Vegas is the better game. That’s unequivocal facts. The proof is there! And most people have come to this same consensus! That doesn’t mean you have to enjoy it. I hate Tom Brady, that doesn’t mean I don’t recognize he’s one of if not the greatest quarterback of all time. Anyways, I know I’m not gonna change your mind. New Vegas haters are just as bad as the elitists. Just thought I’d give my 2 cents. Cheers.
I've dumped 75 hours into this game in the past week or two. It is rather... addictive.
Strange that we had a calling to play this as they are starting it lmao
@@rangerghost2474 I was just thinking yesterday about how hard it is to find blind playthroughs of games like these. I love seeing people enjoy this glorious game for the first time.
@@Coda8 not sure if you’ve heard of him but a guy called Lil Indigestion played through it and has over 200 parts of stuff if your looking for a long blind series🤙
@@rangerghost2474 Awesome, I'm definitely gonna check that out. Thanks!
@FannyBasher9000 1000 hours in a week? I’d probably die. 😂
Even they see the two bears high-fiving. Why didn't they add two bears high-fiving?! lmao
"This is so boring", well New Vegas isn't really a game you watch someone play anyway, it's a personal experience of choices
I think it’s only boring to people who aren’t familiar with the series or are new to rpgs. I used to think the beginning portion of nv was boring but now I really enjoy it. I also enjoy watching let’s plays of this game. I guess it depends on the person.
Watching the epilogues is always the worst part of Fallout because "eh, it's a wasteland, what do I care what happens to these people?"
@Kidcudi949 That's very true. I know I do find the beginning of Oblivion boring after seeing it so many times😂😂, It's just that whole character creation intro type stuff that can be a slog for these games and I feel that. But once you get past all that you can basically do what you want and face said consequences and that's an experience that can't be missed😆😆
@CaseyC-bg4bb
Blame modern RPGs for trying to appeal to the 'action' crowd.
If you're gonna say that about this game, then you can say the same thing about skyrim and other games that follow this format dummy
1:22:00 Fallout 3 its percentage. In Vegas it has to be 50/50 or what lever the /number is. The first number/ is yours, and the second /number is the number you need to pass
Sweet lord, the thumbnail 😂
Part of me wishes they gave him a quick rundown of how to do things in the game (like gear condition) while the other part of me is laughing at how much he's struggling lmao
Also just for reference, holding down the pip-boy button will turn on a light so it's easier to see in darker areas.
This... this was actually painful to watch. And fundermentally based entirely on them not reading what on the fucking screen... or paying attention. T_T
Yea, not everyone takes games Uber serious, we’re just out here having fun
@SortaStupidGames Yeah, that's fair. As you guys said, it's one of these games that where everyone have there preferred builds and styles. And all of them are valid. New Vegas is one of the games I can no-glitch speed run, so it just kept shorting my brain a little. XD
What matters most is that you guys were having fun and enjoying yourselves. No matter how baffling you're chaos is. ^_^
@@SortaStupidGamesits not a thing like this you can play the game however you want but not caring the basic mechanics and basic talks is too much its just clowning in the game
Ah yes. The game I affectionately refer to as a glitchy ass masterpiece. 😂
Dude would love a Dark Urge playthrough of bg3
Yes! I'd love to see them tackle bg3 lol
I feel like being shocked that people choose not to kill people at random sais A LOT about you
He is actually going into the favored direction to quickly get to new vegas through the super mutants 😂
Went that way last playthrough, was on the strip at level 3
The best fall out hands down
New Vegas is such a great game though it takes time to properly build a character yhat can accomplish much
I always just go max luck off rip and up the others later
I love Ruff, truly, but this was physically painful to watch. And yet I did. To the end. 😭
Just a heads up Ruff: Once you beat the main storyline quest, the game sends you back to your last save file. Not a ton of replay value once ylu beat it.
So you wanna make sure you do everything else like the side quests and just wandering out finding stuff
*before* you finish the main storyline.
When I typed up first time fallout new Vegas this is exactly what I wanted
The gas station gunfight was THE FUNNIEST SHIT I’ve seen 😂😂😂
It’s actually insane how good New Vegas is when they only had 18 months to make it.
The game allows so much free roam. Like you don’t have to follow a set path of quests. You can go different ways and then come back to it much later if you like.
Never go north of good springs…😂😂
Swiggity Swooty..-Deathclaw
I 'got spurs that jingle, jangle jingle...
"Cant believe you shoot a guy in the head so much" It's ok it's an RPG Ruff stats matter alot just like in Older elder scrolls games even Skyrim you swing a sword through a regular dude ten times and he's still standing until you get stronger. Also the low luck stat said it governed crits. Its ok ALL OF OUR BUILDS WERE BAD. XD All of our starting characters were scuffed and we were playing as if the game was clunkier than it is because it takes adjusting. You're fine. You will regret actions and wasted items but that's all part of the first character experience in a lot of older RPGs that were more in depth.
His uniqueness is hilarious 😂
Blastback is that OG hair 😂
They should play bully for the first time
Lol 13:25 they all start at 5, so yes you been taking away
3 might be some peoples favorite, but New Vegas is beloved by nearly every single fan for very good reasons. Always love seeing first time playthroughs and this would be a fun one to watch further! Also no clue on the timeline but I think New Vegas takes place around the same time as the other Bethesda titles? It probably doesn't matter too much given this game takes place on the opposite side of the country.
The fallout series is beautiful and lore heavy
And it’s in Nevada
New vegas takes place way further ahead of fallout 3 since the games events take place 15 years before the show thars why new vegas looked like hell
I think if you holster your weapon it improves movement speed since there’s no sprint in this game
4 points in int when the average is 5 means you are not smart at all
but then again watching you walk pass victor maybe the 4 point in int was accurate
If you have the game disc, you can play this on a Series X at 60fps.
New Vegas was my first introduction to fallout. i watched my dad play the other games tho
Thanks to your video I now have another way to sneak past the deathclaw
Wow he ignored everything the game said and made the mistake I knew on my first play through
That was fun.
I want him to play fallout 4 when the update comes out
Hell yeah love me some fallout
You can actually go straight north instead of going around east and then north. The hills/mountain range that runs north along the east side of those plains with the deathclaws, that's how you do it. If you stay in the hills and sneak you can slip past most of them and survive the trip.
People definitely like New Vegas the best for a good reason, but I have to say I enjoy playing Fallout 4 more
Also people who know this game like the back of their hand still don't understand Caravan XD
Fallout 4 is good but story wise new vegas is better
@@imDre3k9 Exactly
I absolutely love Caravan. Every character I meet who I can play Caravan with, I do, every playthrough.
I still have no idea how half of the mechanics for it work lmao
Keep duplicates of weapons/armor to fix your weapons/armor. The better shape, the better their stats.
WHY DOES EVERY NEW PLAYER SPEC CHARISMA
Haha I love new vegas and FO4, excellent choice gents. It's fun to watch different play styles, haven't ran many melee characters, always used snipers/commando types. But I like to add the survival mods to it.
This is very unexpected and I am very happy Edit: *whips sweat away* they picked wild wasteland thank god
No full playthrough?
1:30:46 emphatically yes, you should not be there that early lol
Lol fuck the story at this point
Loving the video and game reactions.
It would be quite cool seeing you guys try Fallout 4! :D
8:00 Ruff, how many subs to grow the facial hair like this since you already have the exact same hair?
Nah, losing a card game because you don’t know how to play and the other player does, is not getting “hustled”.
LFG BOYS!!!
😂😂😂 Now I don’t feel my Dad is as noob as I thought. This guy though… 🤣
I guys they didn’t pre watch this show
Please do more Fallout content!
Always fun to watch people play a cRPG with a controller.
Please play Beyond: Two Souls!
This was painful to watch.
Ew to playing narrative RPGs, children of CRPGs, like a button masher. This hurt to watch.
Don't play games you don't care about, shit's nasty. Blue shirt guy slowly dying inside at how casual you're handling the most important part of the game.
Yeesh
i'll keep playing it just for you bb
Fun fact Mr house makes an appearance in the fallout tv show in the last episode
Luck in Vegas? No need
When Zelda Twillight Princess 🤨?
I love New Vegas
Swift learner is bad
this is so painful to watch
Fallout 4 is a pretty good starting point
Please play more New Vegas
Why does your character look like Michael Cudlitz from _Walking Dead?_
So there is no sprint in the game but there is a mod that give u sprint to the game.
Will you be doing Legend of Zelda any time soon?
these are are actually legitimately funny
Awesome work keep it up 👍
THANK YOU GOD!!!! MY FAV GAME AND CHANNEL!!!
episode 2 pleased
I love you :3
😵💫
