I think the reason behind why 저희 works this way is missing in the video. The key is that 저희 is a word that puts the listener in a higher position (= speaker being polite) by making the speaker in a lower position. This is different from other 존댓말 because other ones mostly work by elevating the listener. So if you say 저희 including the listener, you're basically lowering not only yourself, but the listener as well, which doesn't make sense. So it's natural to think that the speaker is excluding the listener.
Honestly I have been wondering for a long time why 2PM's song 우리집 is MY house and when I thought it's OUR house and you have just quoted the lyrics in the vid HAHAHA thankyou for clearing my head, finally.

04:18 In almost every Korean Drama 'a person' talking to some 'other person' about his/her family member always say - "우리 아들, 우리 엄마, 우리 아빠" does not make the listener inclusive of the family. Based on the above logic & explanation 저희 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 while 우리 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬. According to me, 저희 is purely 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 and 우리 is 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜. This is exactly the same in all Indian languages.

When I first learned Korean, this was such a confusing topic--especially when my friends would say, "우리 엄마 ㅇㅇ" and I would think...she's not my mom. And then, it only got even more confusing because they'd translate it into English and say "Our mother." and again, I was like she's not our mother. But now, it would sound awkward for me to hear someone say "내 엄마." Even though it's not because you share your parents with everyone in the community, the word 우리/저희 does make it feel though that certain things are shared not just yours.
The opposite also happened before too. My family is from Brazil, and when my aunts and uncles are around, and my mom, they say in Portuguese, "Meu Pai" which means my father when they speak about their dad which is the same man. I don't know if other Brazilians speak like this and if my family is just weird, but they told me it's not awkward at all.

Can someone elaborate on the sentence ending of last example? Wouldn't a suggestion be made by "저희 집으로 갑시다"? Does 가시죠 already imply, that the speaker just veryfies the assumption, that "we're in fact going to my place"?
So is it right to say "choe dhongneruneun mwo haesseyo?" If formal
One time I said “저희 아버지” to someone I was speaking to and they corrected me saying it was “우리 아버지” even though we were using 촌댓말. Why is this more fitting? Thanks!
일단 '저희'는 '우리'의 낮춤말인데요 ... '저희 아버지'의 경우 나를 낮추는 것이지 아버지를 낮추는 게 아니라고 보기 때문에 사용 가능한 표현입니다.
존댓말을 쓰는 사이더라도 ... monktvshow

@@FrenchcoreFlava no, i meant more when talking about them. The explanation i got was that you would say 'our sister' whether or not you share one with the other person or if your being polite. Its just one of those norms that dont fit in the rules i guess.

오리 is just like, "OUR (including you, as a listener)" blah, blah, blah.
저희 is just like, "OUR (except you, as a listener)" blah, blah, blah.

So you covered the differences between 우리 and 저희 as possessive pronouns, but not necessarily as subject/topic/object pronouns.
What it means 해야 I wrote this word to google translate and saying 해야 means sun.ı dont understand.해야 Means sun or sunrise.
Well, if you put it like that on any translator it's going to give you "Sun". That's because 해 means "Sun" and the 야 part could be either the verb to be (이다) or just a particle to call someone (as if you were saying "hey sun!").
However, I'll assume you didn't want to know that, and you're probably looking for the grammatical principle "~(아/어/여)야 하다/되다" which means "have to/should/must do something" and you use it by adding that to the verb stem. Some examples:
보다 ( to see) - 봐야 하다 (must see)
먹다 (to eat) - 먹어야 되다 (have to eat)
하다 (to do) - 해야 되다 (should do)
I`m also assuming you already know the basics of conjugation, and in case you don`t know that yet, you should learn it before trying to understand different grammatical principles. 화이팅!!

In my vietnamese language 우리 means "chúng ta" and 저희 means "chúng tôi". But as i was taught 저희란 말이 우리란 말의 높임말이 아니고 우리는 듣는 사람을 포함하는 반면에 "저희"는 듣는 사람을 포함하지 않는다.
정확하게 말하자면 '저희'는 '우리'의 낮춤말이예요. 한국어에서 '저희 나라' , '저희 민족'이 틀린 말인데요, '나라'나 '민족'이란 개념은 낮춤의 대상이 될 수 없기 때문입니다.
