Thank you so much! I am a student of a different school (high school by the way) and annotation is required in most of out reading. This is very helpful!
Thank you for this video. I was watching something completely unrelated and I happen to see that "annotations" was an option that could be turned on or off. So after I was 🤔 what the heck is annotations I eventually ended up here & I now know what that option actually means. Again, just dropping by to say thank you for putting this video out there. Very helpful!
Hey, at the example part, which program is that? I assume that's an annotation export file. It's clean and easy to digest, unlike a lot of other programs which can make the annotation export function almost useless...
None of this make sense to me and over watched this video 5 times. I'm from an older generation and need to annotate a short story and nothing I watch is clicking 😢
I've been annotating, but didn't realize that there is even a term for it. I just thought that I had to take notes because the reading materials that the instructor gave to us were in paragraphs and it was really hard to understand. Now that I'm here searching for what is "annotation", it literally means "taking notes" 😆 These are some things that I do that might help you: 1) Take note of WORD/S that you don't understand, then look for the meaning 2) Take note of ANY idea, thought, or question that you have for a certain chapter or part of whatever it is that you are reading Just remember that the main point of annotating is writing down YOUR perspective and relationship about whatever it is you are reading. What you write doesn't necessarily have to be a fact, rather, it is subjective, because it is your opinion
I so appreciate your easy-to-understand example of annotation. the Lord bless you!
Thank you, I'm commenting so more people can learn from this! This helped me so much!
I have to annotate an article for class and this video was a lifesaver!
