    Nice floor plan, of course the interior and exterior are not what I would have but that’s easy to change.
    Edit: any “base price”? And the music was annoying as heck.

      The standard Cedarview, before modifications, lists for $130,827...
      And yes, exterior and interior choices are easily changed to meet personal choices! We have a large selection to choose from.
      The music? If that was annoying, the traffic noise and my winded breathing on the original video would have been worse! We use the music to cover all that mess up...Lol

    This is really cool but no porch, fireplace or any "perks", 130000$ before shipping, set up, hook ups, land permits, electric pole, ETC? 130000?? SO sad..this grass roots movement was created to bring affordable housing BACK to the middle class, once this is set, hooked up on property, your at 200grand.. exactly the opposite of the purpose. The NEED IS REAL, make money I get that but this pricing is truly, rediculous.

    • @campbellportablebuildings2738

      We'd respond two ways to this comment. First, you are correct, the "tiny home movement" was created for the purpose you stated. Lofty goal with tremendous heart. Secondly, we very rarely refer to ourselves as "tiny homes"... Sometimes, but not often. Our homes are pier and beam construction with a smaller footprint. As far as pricing, the market is driving costs through the roof. We make every effort to be competitive while remaining affordable. It is a delicate balance. Thanks for the comment, ones like this help insure we are playing the game ethically.

      @campbellportablebuildings2738  2 года назад +2

      As a side note, our pricing includes delivery and setup within a 100-mile radius of our lot in Lufkin, Tx. Also included are transport permits.

      The craftsmanship here is beautiful, I mean that and DO NOT mean to take away from it's craftsmanship, cost, planning, engineering, etc. At all. I appreciate the value of it AND the commitment it takes to keep a business profitable AND paying employees for their skills, truly I do. I also value your respectful answer (I am sure you probably wanted to tell me to kiss your ass, rightfully so.). I also understand the IMMENSE cost of doing business to remain in business, on every level. However, at what point does the AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS, who works rediculous hours to simply keep a roof over our head & food on the table, have an affordable way to Live in a home, we don't have to kill ourselves for IE: 50-75 Hours a week? If the tiny, "small" home is no longer an option because we are priced out of that now, as well..What are the options? Where do we go from here? I sincerely meant no disrespect to your company, it's craftsmanship or employees, you obviously have earned what is being charged..but what now? Where do we go from here? All of us..

      Typically, our Microwave units are mounted 53" Above the Finished Floor (AFF) These also serve as recirculating vent hoods for our ranges. Great observation!

  • @suegoff2684
    @suegoff2684 2 года назад +1

    Why do they always have to put the microwave over the stove? I would prefer a countertop range on the island and a single-wall oven where the stove is sitting. Put the microwave at the end of the island. From there I can figure out where a range hood would go. Really nice. I especially like the walls in the living room. If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost?

    • @campbellportablebuildings2738
      @campbellportablebuildings2738  2 года назад

      Great question! Typically, we use the "vent hood" feature built into the microwave, so we mount them directly over the range. It is possible to put the MW elsewhere and install a standard vent-a-hood. As far as the cooktop in the island and a wall oven, that is definitely an option. The Thistle offers the wall oven in it. The possibilities are nearly limitless!
      This particular unit, listed and sold for around the 120K mark.

    The layout is not bad but those walls look like they just took all the scrap pieces and just filled in the spaces. What an awful interior design for a model, too dark! I understand things can be changed but geezz..How much wood can a woodchuck chuck?

      Thanks for the comment and you are correct, this particular model has what is called "Pallet" paneling. And yes, it is a lot of wood!
      Fortunately, for folks who like something less "woody", we offer 5 different styles of paneling, and recently introduced a paintable paneling and trim. That option allows customers to add their own colors to the interior!
      Once again, thanks for the comment, it helps us improve!
