Back in the day! I worked at Echo Summit for the ‘87-‘88 season, Damian and the Avalanche crew rode there all the time, it was like the only resort in Tahoe that allowed snowboards at the time. I worked at Boreal on Donner ‘90-‘93, when this came out. I remember running into Nick and Shawn and other guys at parties, they liked to ride and film at Donner Ski Ranch and the surrounding backcountry.
I was working at a ski resort in high school when this movie came out, we watched it every single weekend on the mountain. Seeing this brings back a lot of memories
One of the all time classics. Played this and ton's of other great videos (Creatures of Habit, Whiskey, Pocahontas, etc) in my SB shop in those early days. Great memories, and still have all on VHS.
I may have bought a Santa Cruz Tao because of this video. Delamination quickly ensued. Then I had a Morrow or two, which also fell apart (foam core?). Good days these were my friends! Good days. Summit County represent!
Enjoy it before FLF notices and gets it pulled. Or, you know, offers it for sale in some format other than secondhand VHS tapes. Looking at you, Mack Dawg.
For a little while, a few years back, he did get on-board with Rad-Air and Harry Gunz's "Tankers", which go up-to 202 CM. I've had a 200 for almost a quarter-century (and have had a Safari 205, Gnu 187 RR, and Sims 201, as-well), and LOVE "Longboard" snowboards. I believe POGO makes the Longest ones at, like 215cm, and Donek has the 'Hazelwood' (named after a certain Tanker Captain who crashed in Alaska) that comes in at 200cm, but they did make a 215 RACE board for Curt 'CMC' Debartello for the Waterville 'Top-Speed' contest. "PSR"
Kinda 'Why" I was a happy proponent of the OMS 'Helmet Kids'! Teter, Petraska, the Wilson Bros, & Yetz, they donned 'Domes' when they weren't yet "a-Thing", and Safety-Wise, changed TWO Snowsports!! They saved Thousands of Lives since 1991. Gordon Robbins (of the IFS) was absolutely Correct in putting 'Helmets' into Competition Rules, a good 6 years before the FIS would 'wake-up' and acknowledge the potential Risks involved. Yet, at The Time this Video was shot, "Cripplers" were the ONLY means of 'Legally' doing an Inverted Air in a Half or 1/4 Pipe in Competition! If you 'whiffed' that "handplant" it didn't 'SCORE' at the Judge's Booth. I didn't Like Judging with that criteria, and felt that Palmer, Scott, Jacoby, Graham, Hetzel, Sanders and Turk should've just been able to Invert Airs at-will. They got Robbed of the Fame they deserved, by Martin's Rulings.
This was my all time favorite classic snowboard flick for getting you pumped when first snow started flying in the fall! Love it!

have you guys heard of M.I.L.K by Mack DAWG. Devun Walsh was in it?
Around 1992 or 1993?
Don't know that one. Sounds like a much later entry than the FLF stuff.
Still get a little queazy when I see Perretta head butt the rocks.

Oh, and, Did Noah [@ 1:00:47 !] ever accidentally Land Upon his Leash?? Dave, Trevor, Steve, anyone, Know? LOL.
Nick Perata 40:08 😮😮😮
I love how 'politically incorrect' things were back then!! Screw the Establishment.
Goodwill isn't in this?
He might show up for a flash, but no big part, no.
"The Crash" at 40:06... *shudder*
