I have been looking at those for a couple months on bang good . Thank you for taking the time to make this video . After watching this I think they are really a great value for the price. thanks again , and happy flying.
+weavostigercat2000 Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked the video. That's a good idea; I would like to hear how do you like them once you try them. Cheers.
This seems to be a genuinely great product, even for people that already own a pair of FPV Googles ! I think this might be better than my Fatshark predators V2's in terms of picture quality and confort and practicality because my googles lenses are always getting foggy. I dont think you will get that problem with this ones. You can also use this as a second pair and take them out on the field and let other people use them so they get to experience the thrill while you fly, everyone loves it. And they seem to be a bargain compared to a mainstream pair of FPV Goggles! Im ordering a pair today 😀😀
+Luis Rodrigues Hello and thanks for your instructive feedback. It's good to hear the opinion of people with experience. I had a feeling that many people could find them interesting, but I wanted to hear from people that owned goggles like Fatshark, as I personally haven't tried them. Cheers.
Thanks for your video... I would like to know the whole parts used because the link you have in the description does not work at all... could it be possible??? thanks.
+Greg Halliday Hello and thanks for asking. It should be possible as the distance of the screen is adjustable, but I can't tell from personal experience. Cheers.
+Drones Visual , yes the one comes inside the goggles. The quanum v2 uses plastic fresnel lens, you will see ripples on the sides. I wish this one don't. Tx.
Has anyone tried these goggles since their purchase, I just ordered a pair read on a forum that the screen is to close. Great video, great build guide thank you.
+Andy Antal Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m still waiting for some feedback from other people. Regarding the screen, you can adjust the distance by using the white knobs in the glasses. Cheers.
Nice review. Does the monitor come with the goggles. If not. Can you put a link of what type it is and where it can be purchased since it looked like a good fit.
Do you know how to get a replacement screen? I have searched using the words on the box ie rear view screen, tft monitor ect. Do you know the manufacturer of the screen?
thank u so much and by the way love ur videos they really help me i got the eacjine Falcon 250 and this fpv glasses, and i probably would some videos and again thank u
Thanks, looking forward to it! Now, it's quite hard to find these goggles on other places than banggood because they don't seem to have a real name? or brand? Like the Headplay or the Quanum v2. Do they have a name/brand?
God knows why they are separate, my 4.3" monitor arrived without any fitted. I have the point on the LCD controller, they didn't even fit the plastic connector on mine! Ill just solder up some switches and resistors! Anyone got a a magnifying glass that they fancy reading the resistor values off?
+Martin Oosthuizen Hello and thanks for asking. You can get a battery in any shop that sells RC products. It allows you to use from a 2S to 4S LiPo battery, but I would just use a 2S battery. Cheers.
Hello. They have no brand, it was a DIY Kit Banggood used to sell. It seems they might have stopped selling it already as there are many cheaper already built options available. Cheers.
Aiyo there mate , happy new year and what an aswome finding you have thee im also interested in the kit's part if you can provide us with them that will be aswome
Good Morning, thank you very much for the comprehensive video review. Can I ask What is the weight of these? I have a QuanumV2 set and how would this compare to fit and weight? And last question, is there any light entering the unit when one flies on a bright sunlight day? Thank you in advance
+Rudi Greyling Hello and thanks for asking. Good question, I will check the weight, should have included that in the review. As to the Quanum V2, I haven't tested them so it's hard for me to offer a proper comparison. Regarding the light, I have not experienced issues with this, but I have heard some people mentioning that when flying in sunny days they have had some light coming in. Cheers.
Hello and thanks for asking. It's uncomfortable to wear glasses with these goggles and some people have mentioned they were not able to see clearly wearing prescription glasses. Cheers.
Drones Visual Thanks :) Will I have to buy a separate antenna to stick in the firefly camera or it connects to stock antenna of the quadcopter? What is the FPV range on this? Thanks for your help :)
+Drones Visual One more thing. If I use these Goggles, will I get the flight data I see on the transmitter monitor into the Googles instead? Have never used FPV Goggles before. Heading, speed info etc is a must in FPV.
+Irfan Fikri Hello and thanks for asking. No, only with the video receiver. The transmitter and camera I´m using in the video I got them separately, they are from Eachine. Cheers.
HI I'm new to FPV but I fly my cx-20 all around. I really like the goggles and I understand what you have said about them. What my problem is, I'm looking for a GOOD camera/ receiver kit, the other half of the FPV experience. I'm not afraid to do mods.
+MrMetor99 I know I would like to have an ccd camera I think as I live in Nevada and the sun is killer. I hear ccd camera's look better in really bright light.
+MrMetor99 How about distance? How far are are you planning to go? Regarding the camera choice, personally I would opt for a CCD, based on the experienced shared by many ppl, including myself, they tend to perform better for FPV. However you might need to read more about specific camera models and how they perform. Cheers.
+Drones Visual I'm thinking about getting this Eachine 800TVL CCD 600mW FPV Set to match up with the DIY FPV Goggles 5.8Ghz 5 Inches Screen. but change antennas
+bpunlimited Hello and thanks for commenting. Yeah stock connector JST. You can use any 2S battery and it should support 3S as well, but I only had a 2S with a JST connector. Cheers.
i ordered the quanum v2 from hobbyking, but they messed up my order and it never came and i got a refund. do you think these are the next best thing to get? maybe better than quanum 2? this price range is ok because i do not want to spend more on my goggles than i did on my drone and transmitter!
+TheRoshan89 Hello and thanks for asking. Well there are many nice goggles coming up now. Eachine has a couple looking really nice and the genesis seem all right as well. I perhaps would opt for the Eachine V008. Cheers.
+Simon Weishäupl Hello and thanks for asking. Due to the weather I was not able to do it, it was very rainy and this week has been raining every single day. Excellent weather for plants, not so good for RC aircraft. Hhehe. Cheers.
Hey, awesome video thanks. I have bought the same setup and notice it says on receiver "Audio and Video Receiver". I notice the video signal goes down one wire and the rest is power + & -. so on the board there are 6 soldered pins....."+""-"...these two go to the battery..then there is "A" and the wire leads to the same plug as battery, the "+""-"..these two power the LCD and there is "V" and this wire leads to the LCD. I bought the Eachine Falcon 250 an noticed a microphone next to the camera. Is it possible that this setup can also feed audio to to you ?.I have searched for hours on interwebs to see if I could find something on this with no luck. Is it something you have considered or tried ?
Hey, I ended up sorting it out, just add a jack to the signal wire and ground the jack to battery or wherever and when u then plug ur earphones in sound comes through on the left channel :D
Hey, do you know if Banggood ships those goggles to SouthAmerica? I want to start racing with drones, but I'm not interested in spending too much money, since I'm on the entry level yet. My idea is to purchase a Nano QX FPV or a Hubsan H107D X4 to use it with these goggles. Good idea? What drone could be better?
Hey, thanks for answering, I'm located in Colombia, and you? How about the drone, what should I go with? Are you able to do regular chat, I'm falling in love with this drone racing thing and it would be awesome to get advice from you.
I been reading up on the DIY FPV Goggles. It comes with a 5.8G 600mW 32CH 2s~6s DC Image Transmission RX5832 Receiver For Multicopter FPV, so you should have long range on the video side of it. It also comes with HSD 800 x 480 HD snow screen display and no blue screen.
+Charles Z Hello and thanks for asking. I´m using an Eachine 700TVL CMOS camera and an Eachine 200 mW transmitter if I recall correctly. Regarding the battery, yeah, I have been wanting to place a note in the video as I made a mistake by stating it was a 1S battery. Cheers :)
Drones Visual thanks for the quick reply! Are you using this? www.banggood.com/Eachine-CCD-700tvl-110-160-Degree-Camera-Lens-w-5_8G-FPV-Transmitter-p-977402.html
+Ian Woolf Hello and thanks for commenting. Yeah, I know about eh Quanum V2, but I would need to test them to give a more balanced opinion. Will try to get a pair. Cheers.
+rik de groot Hello and thanks for asking. The range will mostly depend on the video transmitter and antennas you use. It can vary, if you use a 200mW transmitter it will be much less than if you use a 600mW. Cheers.
+mike winch Hello and thanks for asking. That's the thing I haven't had the chance to properly test the glasses on the field. When I do that, then I will gather some more info about them, such as battery life, etc. Cheers.
+Drones Visual Thank you. I've really hunted online, but i just cannot find anything close. I have awful eyesight in one eye, so 3d is really wasyed on me. VR google are great, but they focus each eye on the left/right side of the screens. Ideally i need a mono lense (2d) headset to see a single image. Maybe i'll get a fresnel lense and see if i can adjust this. :-)
+Dan Grabe Hello and thanks for asking. Do you mean having the video source come from the receiver in the DJI transmitter, instead of the receiver in the goggles? Cheers.
+Drones Visual I don't think the INSPIRE sends a 5.8 ghz signal? so the fpv glasses would have to connect to the HDMI out on the DJI remote, instead of getting the signal from the receiver in the fpv gaggles?
+Dan Grabe Mmm, yeah I guess DJI uses 2.4Ghz for their video..mmm. You can connect another video source to the goggles, but you would need to disconnect the receiver that comes with them and then use some kind of adapter with an HDMI plug one end and RCA on the other. I think that could work. Cheers.
Hello and thanks for asking. First you need to make sure your transmitter is working properly. If you have another FPV transmitter you could give it a try, or if you have another FPV screen. Either way you can diagnose where is the problem coming from. Cheers.
hey.. yes the 1 you are using in this video.. most of the 3D goggles that i found have a divider where you place the screen. is that would work? Thanks
+Simon Weishäupl Hello and thanks for asking. I have only done one short flight with them, not enough to tell. Will try to take them for a test drive next weekend if time allows. Regarding the noise, seems real to me :D Cheers.
+Drones Visual Jeah, read about it, but most of them said that the farthest setting is too close and light comes through the white frame. It's definately true, otherwise people woudn't have reported it independently - but i wonder myself if there is a workaround - for e.g. by using a different fresnel lens - or no lens. or reading glasses :) looking forward to read your experience. i would like to do proximity flying with a racer, and as well the FOV should not be too wide - otherwise its hard to focus. greets
+Simon Weishäupl Hello. Yes, if people have reported these issues, then it must be like that. Hopefully I can test them outdoor this Sunday. Just got the Eachine FPV Vr-007 would like to compare them. Cheers.
+Alessandro Ammenti Hello and thanks for asking. This is the question of the century. I would need to compare them, as I have not tried the V2 yet. Cheers.
Fatshark may have a problem if more of these keep coming out. I have the Quanum V2 fpv goggles and I actually PREFER those to the Fatsharks!! Excellent video!! I might try these especially when they come with a receiver- at the same price I paid for the quanum v2 WITHOUT a receiver!!
+BigJoka OriginalTrumpKard Hello and thanks for sharing your thoughts. It seems that Fatshark needs to come up with a more affordable option to fill that gap in the market, just like GoPro attempted to do with the Hero 4 Session. I would not be surprised if the price goes down a bit more, although not sure if they would be as cheap as the V2 without receiver :D Cheers.
+BigJoka OriginalTrumpKard Yeah I like the big immersive screen of my Quantum V2s more than fatsharks too, but mine cost $55 +$25 for the 832 receiver + $12 1000mah 3S, so not much different from this DIY thing. Just a bit bulkier I guess and no Iron Man sticker...
+nathan rubio Hello and thanks for commenting. If you try it out with the Samsung VR headset, make sure to do a video about it, hehe. I´m interested as well. Cheers. :D
+Bobster986 Hello and thanks for commenting. Indeed, I think it is a very cost-effective idea. Sometimes you don't need high-end FPV goggles. Cheers. ;)
Hello. Great work with that video man. I would like to get back to a question from a week ago from J hawk - "What kind of lens is used in front of the lcd ?" Is it some kind of magnifying glass or fresnel lens (plastic ones)? As J hawk wrote "The quanum v2 uses plastic fresnel lens, you will see ripples on the sides." On your video I can see that image is pretty clear so I wonder, hmm?
How is the eye strain on these? I had this kit on order but canceled it due to being on back order. So I ordered my own parts, got the same receiver very similar goggles and screen for only $70. I am having trouble eye strain issues with my setup. I have a 3x fresnel lens that I have tried at different distances but have not found an optimal distance.
+Kory Westers Hello and thanks for asking. I had no problems with that. When the screen is completely retracted, I can't see well, but as soon as I move it a bit outwards with the side dials every I get perfect focus. I have -2.0 in both eyes, but I don't know the optical properties of the fresnel in the goggles thou. Cheers.
+TIGERSHARK796 Hello nd thanks for commenting. I also wear glasses, but I don't need them while using the goggles, because I can move the screen closer or further away from my eyes. In my case -2.0 in both eyes. Cheers.
my screen didn't come in a anti-static bag. normal plastic was wrapped around and the backside of my screen looks totally different than yours! but the plugs and everything are the same. but in my box wasn't a RCA cable. only the polarized antenna, patch antenna and the goggles themselves.
+Drones Visual I forgot to mention, although they say they can be powered with a 3S LiPo a 2S like you used is a much better option due to heat issues when using the high voltage 3S. Seeing as there is no actual airflow (like when flying) with the RX mounted inside like it is, heat dissipation can be a issue.
Not right now. I will make a video once I finish the tweaking part. They do have a guide on the web. It super easy to do if you are interested? Here is the link. www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1677559 All you need is a 1)Mini USB Arduino Nano 3.0 tinyurl.com/gley75b 2)GY-85 6DOF 9DOF IMU Sensor Module for Arduino tinyurl.com/zxnfqdc 3)Software code.google.com/archive/p/open-headtracker/ Seriously, It's easy to do .
Thanks for thee great video. It tipped the scales for me and now I am patiently awaiting my set to arrive :-). In your follow up video (which I'm sure will occur before my set arrives... :-( ), could you show what the control buttons do? Thanks again!
I just received mine 2 days ago thanks for making this video. I followed along while setting mine up, my only problem with these goggles and appears others are having this issue distance of the screen cannot be adjusted enough to get good focus on the image which gives me sore eyes after a couple of mins. Not sure if new lens will work or not on other sites lens swapping hasn't made a difference, haven't flown with these goggles yet no point until I get the focus issues solved. Anyone try to fly with these yet or has anyone been able to solve the focus issue? Wonder if a set of vr goggles could be modified to work with the hardware?
+Andy Antal Hello and thanks for sharing your experience. It would be good if you could share your visual acuity, what kind of glasses do you use. I have -2.0 in both eyes and have no problems focusing, but clearly that's not the case for everybody. Cheers.
+Kernow Crosser Hello and thanks for asking. It does not come with a battery. It can use from a 2S to 4S battery according to the specifications. I tested it with a 2S battery as you can see in the video. Cheers.
Hi, Just one short, how is that RX5832 receiver working. I was just looking for a Rx-RC832/Tx-TS8325 combo but if you tell me that this is working properly I will avoid spend money on a new RC832 and I will use the one from this Goggles. Thank you!
+Jose Luis Montesinos Hello and thanks for asking. So far it has performed ok, but I have been flying on the range of 200 meters and haven't really done a thorough analysis of it. Cheers.
+Tuvazeock Hello and thanks for asking. The blue screen can become a problem as signal becomes weak. As this happens the blue screen will prevent you from seeing anything. However in white noise screens as the signal becomes weaker you might still be able to see something through the white noise and your chances of making a safe return increase. I hope this helps. Cheers.
I have been looking at those for a couple months on bang good . Thank you for taking the time to make this video . After watching this I think they are really a great value for the price. thanks again , and happy flying.
+Jeff Joseph Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad the video was useful to you. Cheers :)
When you find the G-SPOT haha! so funny for a tutorial - really like this as a cheap FPV beginner first step to FPV
+Drone HDTV Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked it, hehe, yeah connectors also have a G spot Ahh. Cheers.
the "g spot, then the magic happens" nice
+Pratiyush Rana Hello and thanks for commenting. Hhehe, yeah, I though it was a good analogy :D Cheers.
Just ordered a kit now . Great video , very clear and complete . I might power them from a trailing lead to keep the weight down .
+weavostigercat2000 Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked the video. That's a good idea; I would like to hear how do you like them once you try them. Cheers.

Great review and assembly video, Could you up load some FPV footage from the goggles so we can see how well they work when flying? TY
+TheFlyingDJ Hello and thanks for asking. Yes, I should have done that long time ago. Cheers :)
Thanks for your video... I would like to know the whole parts used because the link you have in the description does not work at all... could it be possible??? thanks.
Can you wear prescription glasses with these goggles?
Great vid
+Greg Halliday Hello and thanks for asking. It should be possible as the distance of the screen is adjustable, but I can't tell from personal experience. Cheers.
Nice vid. What kind of lens is used in front of the lcd ?
+J hawk Hello and thanks for asking. Do you mean the one that comes inside the goggles? Cheers
+Drones Visual , yes the one comes inside the goggles. The quanum v2 uses plastic fresnel lens, you will see ripples on the sides. I wish this one don't. Tx.
hi.
Connector which going in to the screen 4:36 thx for response :)
+Chris Marshall Hello, I see. That one comes included with the kit. Cheers.
Cheers.
great video, seems like a great product, i see that they look like half of the size of quanam; is that so?
+rio787 Hello and thanks for asking. They are certainly less cumbersome, however, I have not tried the Quanum yet. Cheers.
Do you see the round edges while wearing? Can you see the OSD date on the side?
+Ben Koebele i got one, you can see OSD just fine, you don't see the round area, and screen is not distorted like other goggles ive seen.
These look like really great goggles. Does the screen go to blue screen or does it stay static?
+Jax Teller RC What I have read mate, the DIY goggoles comes with HSD 800 x 480 HD snow screen display and no blue screen.
+Jax Teller RC Hello and thanks for asking. Indeed, as Todd mentioned, no blue screen. Cheers.
Drones Visual
Thanks mate
Todd Davis
Thats what you need brother (-:
Great Goggles and very clear video!
+CoseCinesi Hello and thanks for your support. I´m glad you like it. Cheers.
Nice review. Does the monitor come with the goggles. If not. Can you put a link of what type it is and where it can be purchased since it looked like a good fit.
Hello and thanks for commenting. Yeah, everything comes included. I placed a link on the description of the video. Cheers.
Do you know how to get a replacement screen? I have searched using the words on the box ie rear view screen, tft monitor ect. Do you know the manufacturer of the screen?
where did u get that battery im looking and can`t find it does it work With 3s
Hello and thanks for asking. A battery like this one should do the job: goo.gl/zcSqd7 Cheers.
thank u so much and by the way love ur videos they really help me i got the eacjine Falcon 250 and this fpv glasses, and i probably would some videos and again thank u
so how do u change channels on the receiver? does it have any autoscan feature?
+TheRoshan89 Hello and thanks for asking. Yeah, the receiver is equipped with a channel selector. Cheers.
How does these compare to the more expensive HeadPlay HD's???
+PappaSlask Hello and thanks for asking. Goog question indeed. I hope I can get a pair soon to compare them. Cheers.
Thanks, looking forward to it! Now, it's quite hard to find these goggles on other places than banggood because they don't seem to have a real name? or brand? Like the Headplay or the Quanum v2. Do they have a name/brand?
+PappaSlask Yeah, you are right. It might be a kit they put together, because I have not seen it elsewhere. Cheers.
+Hoggdoc Can't you correct that "too wide FOV" with "lens sheets" I saw one pair are following with the Headplays...
Do you have a link or description for the navigation bottoms?
Hello. No, because it all came together as one kit. Cheers.
Actually after digging a bit I found it: www.banggood.com/UFO-DIY-5-Inches-FPV-Goggles-Spare-Part-Light-Adjust-Module-p-1049074.html?rmmds=search
Nice! Didn't know they were for sale separately. Cheers.
God knows why they are separate, my 4.3" monitor arrived without any fitted. I have the point on the LCD controller, they didn't even fit the plastic connector on mine! Ill just solder up some switches and resistors!
Anyone got a a magnifying glass that they fancy reading the resistor values off?
is the camera together or separate
Hello and thanks for asking. The camera is not included. Cheers.
Where can i get a battery for these? And what battery do i buy?

Hello. They have no brand, it was a DIY Kit Banggood used to sell. It seems they might have stopped selling it already as there are many cheaper already built options available. Cheers.
HI Drones, Can you please link this vid to Banggoods website for these googles. Lots of people are looking for it. Leon
+Leon Murray Hello and thanks for asking. Yes, I have done that. In the description of the video I placed a link to their website. Cheers.
Great.......didn't even think there was a DIY out there!
+Don Mason Hello and thanks for commenting. I came across these goggles by accident and saw that they could have some potential. Cheers.
They've got to get the price down as Eachine VR-007 is under £50.00 purchased in the UK!
+Don Mason They look really nice. Got them over here, hoping to review them soon. Cheers.
The link in the description doesn't work.
Can you provide a parts list?
Hello and thanks for asking. It was a kit, seems they aren't selling it any more. I´ll inquire about that. Cheers.
Aiyo there mate , happy new year and what an aswome finding you have thee im also interested in the kit's part if you can provide us with them that will be aswome
At least the screen details, I can't seem to find such naked lcd with the controller.
Did you try using it under the sun light ? Any light leaking in or not ?
+Nuttavoot Chupanya Hello and thanks for asking. Not yet, need to put them to the test properly. Will post about that later. Cheers.
Do you have recommendation for the camera? thank you
+Nikolas Kurnia Hello and thanks for asking. A 700TVL should be fine. Cheers.
Good Morning, thank you very much for the comprehensive video review.
Can I ask What is the weight of these?
I have a QuanumV2 set and how would this compare to fit and weight?
And last question, is there any light entering the unit when one flies on a bright sunlight day?

Is there any way to make it split screen?
where i can find the mini receiver like that..??
+Anwar Jaffar Helo and thanks for asking. Many shops that sell products related to RC flying sell small receivers like the one in the video. Cheers.
+Anwar Jaffar www.banggood.com/5_8G-600mW-32CH-2s6s-DC-Image-Transmission-RX5832-Receiver-For-Multicopter-FPV-p-985687.html
+christopher lucas thanks sir.. :-)
thank you for this. ill probably use this for my fpv buld
Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked the video. Cheers.
hi please can you tell me if you can wear these with your prescription goggles?
Hello and thanks for asking. It's uncomfortable to wear glasses with these goggles and some people have mentioned they were not able to see clearly wearing prescription glasses. Cheers.
How long does it take to get them from Bang good?
+Todd Davis Hello, well, I think it depends a lot on the kind of shipping method. From one week to a month. Cheers.
Is there more input lag with these?
is this lens Fresnel ?
+André Gm Hello and thanks for asking. Yes, it is. Cheers.
Hello just like to know if you can where glasses with these, my glasses are 132mm wide, thank you
Hello. You might be able, but it is not going to be comfortable. Cheers.
Great DIY video... Thanks!
Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad it was useful to you. Cheers.
Is this compatible with the UpAir Chase quadcopter?
If so, I will buy it soon because I have the quadcopter
+DRONEDIRECTOR Hello and thanks for commenting. Yeah, they are compatible with systems that transmit video at 5.8Ghz. Cheers.
Drones Visual
Thanks :)
Will I have to buy a separate antenna to stick in the firefly camera or it connects to stock antenna of the quadcopter?
What is the FPV range on this?
Thanks for your help :)
Hello, no, you don't need an extra FPV antenna. The range will depend on the power of the FPV transmitter in the drone. Cheers.
Drones Visual
awesome, thanks :)

Cheers.
Thanks buddy
You are welcome :)

+MrMetor99 I know I would like to have an ccd camera I think as I live in Nevada and the sun is killer. I hear ccd camera's look better in really bright light.

+Drones Visual I'm thinking about getting this Eachine 800TVL CCD 600mW FPV Set to match up with the DIY FPV Goggles 5.8Ghz 5 Inches Screen. but change antennas
Yes, i want to buy it but, wich app works with my iPhone 6 for parrot bebop?
+Rafael Sanchez Hello and thanks for asking. You don't need your iPhone with this, there is a screen inside. Cheers.
How close is the screen to your eyes, do you have any issues focusing on the screen at all?
+toiletduckie44 Hello and thanks for asking. The screen distance from your eyes is adjustable. I did not have any problems focusing at all. Cheers.
+Drones Visual i wear glasses, which usually presents a problem with fit and screen focus. can these be worn over glasses?
Very well presented introduction.
+Andrew Van Der Plaats Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked it. Cheers.
Link to the battery? What plug does it use? Can use any 2s quadcopter battery?
+bpunlimited Hello and thanks for commenting. Yeah stock connector JST. You can use any 2S battery and it should support 3S as well, but I only had a 2S with a JST connector. Cheers.
i ordered the quanum v2 from hobbyking, but they messed up my order and it never came and i got a refund. do you think these are the next best thing to get? maybe better than quanum 2? this price range is ok because i do not want to spend more on my goggles than i did on my drone and transmitter!
+TheRoshan89 If i were u id wait for the Quanum Fatshark Genesis to come out. Its on the coming soon items page on HK
+TheRoshan89 Hello and thanks for asking. Well there are many nice goggles coming up now. Eachine has a couple looking really nice and the genesis seem all right as well. I perhaps would opt for the Eachine V008. Cheers.
Hey there! Did you test them last weekend? Looking forward to see your results ;)
+Chris F Hello and thanks for commenting. This sounds interesting, I will give it a try see whether it works. Cheers.
+Drones Visual Thanks for replying, this is awesome, would like to see the results if possible.
Hey, I ended up sorting it out, just add a jack to the signal wire and ground the jack to battery or wherever and when u then plug ur earphones in sound comes through on the left channel :D
Which goggles are these, do you have a link ?
+TheEYECATCHR Hello and thanks for commenting. Sure, please check the description of the video, I placed a link there. Cheers.
+Yody Castro Hello and thanks for asking. As far as I know they ship worldwide. What country are you from? Cheers.
+Todd Davis Hello and thanks for commenting. Do you mean that the receiver in the goggles is the RX5832? Cheers.
Awesome review! What camera and transmitter are you using? What do you recommend?
+Charles Z oh by the way the battery at 8:18 is a 2s battery. 1s is 3.7 volts, 2s is 7.4, 3s is 11.1, etc
+Charles Z Hello. This one: goo.gl/pgmSYq Cheers.
How do they compare to the very similar Quanum V2 goggles? They look almost the same except for the inclusion of a receiver.
+Ian Woolf Hello and thanks for commenting. Yeah, I know about eh Quanum V2, but I would need to test them to give a more balanced opinion. Will try to get a pair. Cheers.
where can i get the brain board
Hello. Let me see if they are still selling it. Cheers.
How do you change the channels on the vRx I see its a 32ch rx .
+weavostigercat2000 Hello and thanks for asking. There is a little selector on the receiver. Cheers.
OK thanks
+weavostigercat2000 You are welcome ;)
Hi there, where u buy the goggles?
Hello. These are old already. I think they have been discontinued. Cheers.
what is the video range?
+rik de groot Hello and thanks for asking. The range will mostly depend on the video transmitter and antennas you use. It can vary, if you use a 200mW transmitter it will be much less than if you use a 600mW. Cheers.
hi.
Where did you get this 3pin servo to white 4pin cable. Good movie, thx :)
+Chris Marshall Hello and thanks for asking. In what minute of the video? Cheers.
yeah bro, awesome friendly review. I was laughing at 12:58. Where are you from senior?
+STIZEN9 Hello and thanks for commenting. Hheeh, I´m glad I made you smile. That's a hard question to answer, I guess from China :D Cheers.
My drone uses 5.8ghz. Can I still use this or will it interfere?
Hello and thanks for asking. Do you mean a 5.8Ghz frequency to control the drone itself? Cheers.
Where to get these goggles
Hello. To be honest, not sure if they are available anymore. There are many already-built better options. Are you looking for a decent pair?
@@DronesVisuals yes
Do you wear glasses? I think the Eachine EV100 could be great to get started.
Ok
how long dose the 7.4 2 cell battery last for
+mike winch Hello and thanks for asking. That's the thing I haven't had the chance to properly test the glasses on the field. When I do that, then I will gather some more info about them, such as battery life, etc. Cheers.
Hey i just made a pair of these today, but used binocular VR headset. Do you know where i can get the monocular headset?
+Anthony Ginn Hello and thanks for asking. These ones came with the kit, but let me check whether I see similar ones for sale.
The link is down. Where I can find it?
Hello. Yes, I think they stop selling it. There are cheaper options available in the market now. Cheers.
will this fpv connect directly to the HDMI port on the DJI INSPIRE receiver?
+Dan Grabe Hello and thanks for asking. Do you mean having the video source come from the receiver in the DJI transmitter, instead of the receiver in the goggles? Cheers.
+Drones Visual
I guess that I mean the HDMI connector on the back of the remote control for the DJI INSPIRE1.
+Drones Visual
I don't think the INSPIRE sends a 5.8 ghz signal? so the fpv glasses would have to connect to the HDMI out on the DJI remote, instead of getting the signal from the receiver in the fpv gaggles?
+Dan Grabe Mmm, yeah I guess DJI uses 2.4Ghz for their video..mmm. You can connect another video source to the goggles, but you would need to disconnect the receiver that comes with them and then use some kind of adapter with an HDMI plug one end and RCA on the other. I think that could work. Cheers.
+Dan Grabe Perhaps I should give it a try to confirm whether it works and then I would let you know.
What I have to by for a Parrot bebop?
+Rafael Sanchez Hello and thanks for asking. Do you want to use these glasses with Parrot Bebop? Cheers.
can i replace the provided receiver with a immersion rc receiver module? looks like most other receivers are for ground stations with screens.
Hello and thanks for asking. Yeah, this should be possible. Cheers.
What is that Lens called do someone know that?
+slotdino1 Hello and thanks for asking. What lens are you referring to? Cheers.
What can I do if my receiver isn't picking up transmission on any channel?
Hello and thanks for asking. First you need to make sure your transmitter is working properly. If you have another FPV transmitter you could give it a try, or if you have another FPV screen. Either way you can diagnose where is the problem coming from. Cheers.
what kind of goggle you use? i can't find 1 with antenna receiver on.. Ta
+Just Kiding Hello and thanks for asking. Do you mean what goggles are these in the video? Cheers.
hey.. yes the 1 you are using in this video.. most of the 3D goggles that i found have a divider where you place the screen. is that would work? Thanks
Did you already fly with them? Cant wait for the video! :) Is the signal lost noise a fake noise instead of a bluescreen?
+Simon Weishäupl Hello and thanks for asking. I have only done one short flight with them, not enough to tell. Will try to take them for a test drive next weekend if time allows. Regarding the noise, seems real to me :D Cheers.
+Drones Visual Looking forward! Read everywhere that the display is too close and its getting very exhausting focusing on the screen. Tell us more! :D
Do you know that it is possible to adjust the distance of the display from your eyes? I apologize for the delay with the second part. Cheers.
+Drones Visual Jeah, read about it, but most of them said that the farthest setting is too close and light comes through the white frame. It's definately true, otherwise people woudn't have reported it independently - but i wonder myself if there is a workaround - for e.g. by using a different fresnel lens - or no lens. or reading glasses :)
looking forward to read your experience. i would like to do proximity flying with a racer, and as well the FOV should not be too wide - otherwise its hard to focus. greets
+Simon Weishäupl Hello. Yes, if people have reported these issues, then it must be like that. Hopefully I can test them outdoor this Sunday. Just got the Eachine FPV Vr-007 would like to compare them. Cheers.
I'm a beginner at FPV will any 32 channel camera transmitter work with this FPV goggles
+The great Goliath Hello and thanks for asking. Yes, it will. Cheers.
I just can't find such a screen. :/ Do you have a link for it?
better than the quanum v2s?
+Alessandro Ammenti Hello and thanks for asking. This is the question of the century. I would need to compare them, as I have not tried the V2 yet. Cheers.
+Drones Visual and between these and the eachine vr-007?
+Alessandro Ammenti Hello, still waiting to try the Eachine VR-007. Cheers.
Way cool!Thanks,Don
+Don Wood Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked it. Cheers.
Very good "how to" video.
+RookTV Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked it. Cheers. :)
This looks like samsungs gear VR headset. I wonder if you can diy an fpv setup with them?
+nathan rubio Hello and thanks for commenting. If you try it out with the Samsung VR headset, make sure to do a video about it, hehe. I´m interested as well. Cheers. :D
At very least, using the vr housing
This was the guy featured on Jamie and Adam's Tested show, talking about FPV drones :D
Hello. I wish! I think you got me confused with Charpu :D Cheers.
Oh no way! :D
Sorry about that, it was probably the accent that spiked the call haha.
Great tutorial btw!
Hello. I´m glad you liked it. Let's hope Tested invites me over one day :D Cheers.
It's kind of cool how they modified a VR headset to be used as a FPV goggles. :-)
+Bobster986 Hello and thanks for commenting. Indeed, I think it is a very cost-effective idea. Sometimes you don't need high-end FPV goggles. Cheers. ;)
CAN U TELL ME THE BRAND OF THE GLASSES , I HAVE ALL READY A QUANUM V1 ..AND CAN USE THOSE WITH THE QUANUM MONITOR
+Guillermo Nespolo Hello and thanks for asking. I´m not sure about the brand. I guess you. Let me see if I can spot it somewhere on the box. Cheers.
Hello. Great work with that video man.
I would like to get back to a question from a week ago from J hawk - "What kind of lens is used in front of the lcd ?" Is it some kind of magnifying glass or fresnel lens (plastic ones)?
As J hawk wrote "The quanum v2 uses plastic fresnel lens, you will see ripples on the sides."
On your video I can see that image is pretty clear so I wonder, hmm?
+radanzwinidi Hello and thanks for commenting. Yes, the optical material inside is some kind of plastic fresnel lens. Cheers.
Cheers.
hi,cool vid.one question.can a person that waers glasses like me,wear them.keep doing these cool vids.thanks.
+TIGERSHARK796 Hello nd thanks for commenting. I also wear glasses, but I don't need them while using the goggles, because I can move the screen closer or further away from my eyes. In my case -2.0 in both eyes. Cheers.
thanks for the reply.i,m gonna get one.keep the cool vids coming.
my screen didn't come in a anti-static bag. normal plastic was wrapped around and the backside of my screen looks totally different than yours! but the plugs and everything are the same. but in my box wasn't a RCA cable. only the polarized antenna, patch antenna and the goggles themselves.
Hello. Yeah, about the screen that's not good, but if it works then great. Did you get it from banggood? Cheers.
Drones Visual no gearbest what's the problem with them? this you didn't say in the video
No, I meant the fact that you didn't get the screen inside the proper plastic bag was not good. The screen itself is decent. Cheers.
Very well done review. Good job.
+TheGusK Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you liked it. Cheers :)
+TheGusK Hello, indeed that is a valid point. I still need to test how long does this little battery last.
I modify my headset to have head tracking build into it and I'm using 7.4v battery stick. Everything is hidden too.
Hello and thanks for sharing. Wow, that sounds interesting. Do you have any photos or videos? Cheers.
Not right now. I will make a video once I finish the tweaking part. They do have a guide on the web. It super easy to do if you are interested?
Here is the link.

2)GY-85 6DOF 9DOF IMU Sensor Module for Arduino
tinyurl.com/zxnfqdc
3)Software
code.google.com/archive/p/open-headtracker/
Seriously, It's easy to do .
TheDarkstar826 Were you able to hide the battery too?
Thanks for thee great video. It tipped the scales for me and now I am patiently awaiting my set to arrive :-). In your follow up video (which I'm sure will occur before my set arrives... :-( ), could you show what the control buttons do?
Thanks again!
+kooraiku Hello and thanks for asking. I´m glad my video was useful to you. Yes, I will include their functionality as well. Cheers.
I can't use the monitor that you show.
+Rafael Sanchez Hello, does the bebop transmit the video feed at 5.8Ghz? Cheers.
Cheers.
Does it come with a battery?
If I doesn't what battery will it need
+Kernow Crosser Hello and thanks for asking. It does not come with a battery. It can use from a 2S to 4S battery according to the specifications. I tested it with a 2S battery as you can see in the video. Cheers.
Saludos.
thanks for your tutorial
+Alex Castignani Hello and thanks for commenting. I hope it was useful. Cheers.
many videos on yt like this. doesnt explain whats kind of lens use on goggles box.. 2 lens for split display or 1 lens for full frame..???
where is the link?
Really nice review...thanks
+krack jack Hello and thanks for commenting. I´m glad you like it! Cheers :)
+Drones Visual does it come with the screen???
Hello and thanks for asking. Yes, it comes with the screen. Cheers.
Great video, subbed!
Hello and thanks for asking. I´m glad you liked it and your support is certainly appreciated. Cheers.
+Drones Visual You're welcome. Can I add diversity Antennas for long range fpv?
Hello, these goggles don't have a diversity receiver, but you can pretty much plug any antenna you want whip, mushroom, patch, etc. Cheers.
+Drones Visual would a 7-inch screen fit in those goggles?
Hi,
Just one short, how is that RX5832 receiver working.
Cheers.
I'm new to FPV. I see a lot of people share the opinion that blue screens aren't as good as snow/white noise. Why is that?
+Tuvazeock Hello and thanks for asking. The blue screen can become a problem as signal becomes weak. As this happens the blue screen will prevent you from seeing anything. However in white noise screens as the signal becomes weaker you might still be able to see something through the white noise and your chances of making a safe return increase. I hope this helps. Cheers.
+Drones Visual Thanks, that makes perfect sense :D
