Funny how many comments seem to ignore the fact that 3 of those guys actually played in Death. Bassist Steve di Giorgio recorded 2 records and even played in Control Denied, and was close friends with Chuck. Gene Hoglan played drums in Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic, and lead guitarist B. Koelble also played in Symbolic. I mean, they are not the typical amateur tribute band.
Vocalist was live backup vocals and guitars on Cynic and also plays in Exist, btw.
Definitely not amateur forsure honestly Koelble is def underrated in my opinion he's a badass guitarists his solo on Symbolic alone was killer one of my favs off that album Misanthrope was another good one

Most of these musicians played for Death. They are literally ex-band members of Death. This is not your typical tribute band. This is as close as to original Death experience you will get.

Singer nails it. This band is very tight. The drummer is mad. He plays his stuff and the other drummers so well. Great concert.

I have to commend the cameraman and Max Phelps for doing a great job of covering the band with the focus on the right guys for the right parts. Max did a great job of bringing Chuck back to life.

Excelente Concierto y una gran homenaje a un Icono del Metal el gran CHUCK SCHULDINER y su obra maestra DEATH, caray esta no es cualquier banda son puros Ex-DEATH grandes musicos que junto con CHUCK hicieron a DEATH una verdadera leyenda del Metal, unas verdaderas joyas en las que trabajaron DI GIORGIO, HOGLAN y KOELBLE un verdadero legado y acompañados de MAX PHELPHS hacen de esto una delicia, en serio ojala se vuelvan a juntar y hacernos revivir y recordar a CHUCK SCHULDENER y a DEATH, un gran homenaje DEATH FOREVER!!!

Wow...never really honestly knew what the song "Suicide Machine" was about exactly, and I knew about "Dr.Kavorcian" and his makeshift death van just never put them together lol glad I know now!!

Some people make fun of the singer/guitarist cause he wears his guitar so high. I have to do the same thing, my shoulders and wrists don't bend normally so i wear it high. Check out the guitarist of Inanimate Existence he wears his high too and that dude can play!
All the respect for this vocalist/guitarist. But its curious to see that Chuck played it all in a really spontaneous way, natural AF. Anyway, awesome concert 😍

I love the leads Bobby wrote on Symbolic, but man... his renditions of the leads he didn't write are like a kid at guitar center that just learned how to do sweeps... it's like sweeps just for the sake of sweeps! The janitor at my work doesn't even sweep that much.
Bobby's a great player, but he could've done better without taking all the musicality and melody out of Larocque's leads. Kind of a bummer.
