@@MissesWitch that wasn't chaos. The man with the stick was reminding the other man that he told him not to go around there anymore. He remembered after that! 👍L 🤣
The paratha was interesting, but............ Holy Moly I was enthralled by all the "goings on" all around Mr Tahir! The vehicles passing so closely by pedestrians! All the motor bikes going this way and that. And with 4 people on one bike???? The man with fire bright orange hair with a baby hanging off one shoulder! A bike with a baby in the front and a lady behind a man. The man getting hit with a stick. My jaw was on the floor the whole video! God bless these people!
These 3 minutes 37 seconds represent the daily life of almost every city in Pakistan: 01:55 : Rickshaw narrowly missing a family walking by and a car. (Happens every few minutes) 02:02 : Almost at the top right you can see a begger (If you are eating and they see you, run! don't sympathize because he/she might be more richer than you) 02:09 : A grand father giving piggyback to his grand daughter. (Adoreable 💞) 02:17 : 2 cops on bike, with 2 (most probably) criminals sitting in between them. (So that they don't jump off the bike) 02:35 : Man riding bike while placing his phone between shoulder and his ear. 02:45 : A man pushing his broken down rickshaw (you will see that a lot here) 02:58 : Do I need to explain? 03:15 : A worker massaging back of his co-worker Despite of everything, my country is beautiful with most amazing people ❤ Do visit Pakistan whenever you can, you will start seeing life differently, in a good way.
@@criticalpsyche There are areas in the US that are much more 'interesting' and not in a good way. The infrastructure needs work but what I saw was people living their lives and doing the best they can. And the stick guy. Even that, it was a stick. Here it would have been a firearm.
I'm really enjoying this series showing us all the traditional food, drink and daily life. The men are frequently comparing the food they are given to eat to something in their everyday lives, now I know what they're talking about.
I absolutely love these Street Eats videos! We get to see our favorite gentlemen, the foods they normally eat, and we get to see bits of the city where they live. Great job, TPT!👏
I was surprised and amused by that as well. But after watching it a couple of times and looking more closely, it looked like a kid who was asking for food and that kinda broke my heart a little. Sorry for being such a Debbie Downer, but that region of the world is so severely impoverished that when I look at situations like this through that lens, I can't help but view them from an entirely different perspective. It certainly makes me appreciate what this channel has done/is doing for our four beloved "tribal uncles" and how significantly it has changed and improved their lives. They deserve every little bit of it. 🙏
I had to watch it once to see Tahir make the bread, then a second time to watch the background entertainment! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I make my own flatbread, but will try this method the next time, it looks really good.
Damn, i thought the roads in Britain were bad for pot holes 😮 The guy with the stick is a video legend and he'll never know it 😂😂 Absolutely love watching these guys in their natural environment 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Looks like a wonderful meal to start the day - would love more of these videos. Oh, and no need for local TV news when there's a storekeeper chasing someone with a stick @2:58 as you eat breakfast.
These street eating videos are very interesting and enjoyable. I like seeing Tahir show off his knowledge and at the same time witness foods I've never had the opportunity to try yet. All the background moments like the stick beating only make it even more enjoyable.
When I didn't have a lot of money, a local Indian cafe (here in Canada) had a lunch special with 2 aloo paratha and some raita for less than a fast food burger. He's right about how filling they are! I could eat both for lunch and not need dinner. Sometimes even had to save the second one for later because one was enough for lunch. My landlady now is Indian and she makes them for me sometimes because she knows I love them.
Love Paratha! If you've never tried them you're missing out. Try your local Asian/Indian grocer in the frozen section. In Singapore it's common to also have it for breakfast with a meat sauce. Breakfast of champions!
Mr. Tahir, you have the most beautiful heart of anyone I’ve ever seen or known. You are such a breath or fresh air in this chaotic world and I think God smiles often because of you. Peace be with you. Love from your friend in Canada 🇨🇦.
Look in the background at 2:55, one man hits another with a stick! Dr. Tahir is a lovely man! Intelligent and laughs a lot! Love to you all! I watched this twice just to watch what all is going on behind him rather than read the words. Simply amazing how different it is than in the USA!
Paratha is my favourite. I was lucky enough to live in both Pakistan and India and the background activity brought back such great memories especially multiple people on motorcycles. Tahir is very impressive making his own paratha ❤
Thank for entertaining me I’m a longtime subscriber and love all of your videos I’m an English man 72 years old I like keema paratha and tea for my breakfast sometimes I go to a Pakistani cafe near where I live Say hi to your other comrades on your channel from us Take care and good luck 💕🕊️👍
This was interesting. I love connecting their lives to them. I must get the recipe. Plz thank Mr Tahir. Like others I nearly fell out seeing 4 guys on a motorcycle. 😮
I am happy to see the cultural exchange go both ways and learn more about Pakistan. And what better way to do that than to have these guys as our hosts and presenters. Genius and you can totally make a full spin off of these Pakistan food/travel content with them hosting.
I have such a soft spot for Tahir. I feel as though I know him and feel so kindly towards him. He has real charisma. All the guys do. He makes a great travel presenter. I actually wish you didn't speed the middle bit up. This was a fascinating video - not only watching the cooking of the paratha but watching the chaos and bustle in the background, 4 guys on a motorcycle without helmets, mobile phones, a disabled man, another being chased by a stick. Such a slice of real life. He just sat there calmly and got all zen dipping his paratha in tea. I bet it was delicious and I totally get the benefit of it filling you up cheaply because everyone there looks super busy.
So, kind of like a tortilla. Must have more flavor, though. But, basically, dough. It does fill you up. I wonder how much a breakfast of 2 of those and tea will set you back 🤔 Thank you for sharing your food with us
I'm Irish-Canadian, but after having paratha in Indian restaurants, I learned to make it. It's great wth sauce, jam or whatever! Now II must try it dipped in tea. Thank you.
That village looks like pure hell to me... nothing but noise, chaos and danger. However, I'm sure it's 'normal' for those living there. At least Tahir got to enjoy his breakfast.
All I could do was watch the life going on in the background. Someone told me that paying tax in Pakistan is optional and if that's true still, I guess it explains the state of the roads, but the feeling of freedom from rules was rather intoxicating! Not many crash helmets to be seen, talking on phones whilst driving, no-one seems to care overly about which side of the road they're drving on, four guys on one bike and someone hitting a guy with a stick. I wonder what they would think about our 'nanny state' lives?
Holy moly the background content is amazing! 😂
Entertaining to watch him eat while there's complete chaos around him!
For example,...the 4 guys on the motorbike @ 2:17 , _OR_ ,....the _THIEF_ getting a cane-whipping around the 2:57 mark!?! 😂😂
@@CollectingCardboardhahaha! reminds me of my family’s village in Pakistan lol it was a little less chaotic then this but still similar loll
This is actually an everyday life in suburban places and it's referred as calm here (the subcontinent)!! Chaotic would be totally different.
