I'm American and once had a Pakistani neighbor. We would cook together. I taught her to make things like banana bread and cinnamon rolls. She taught me to make puri, halwa, pakora, samosas, and more. I think I got the better end of the deal. :)
Trust me, as a Pakistani, cinnamon rolls are one of the tastiest western foods I've ever tasted, you taught her a real good one. Been wanting to taste y'all's biscuit and gravy one day, all my American friends tell me that's the best dish in America but unfortunately it ain't available anywhere in Pakistan, no restaurant serves it
@@mr.knewyork5843 I don't know how difficult it would be to make biscuits where you live but you have all the ingredients for a cream gravy so that part's doable. If you poured the gravy over naan it would be a similar experience to our biscuits and gravy even if it's not exactly the same. Hope you get to try it soon because it is a yummy dish even though it's a simple one.
@mr.knewyork5843 Greetings from Washington DC! I don't know where you are in Pakistan, but there definitely are stores in Islamabad that carry western ingredients that would let you cook that (or a very close version!) 😊
@@mr.knewyork5843 It's impossible to get good biscuits and gravy, Unless you either come to the 'States, or have a Southerner from the U.S. to cook it for you!
@@meacadwell I could try that, thanks for the suggestion
Of course he eats dessert for breakfast 😂
Dessert for breakfast? Sign me up!!
I’m a simple person. I just love to see Mr Chaudhary enjoy food. 😊 great vid to see what u guys eat. Tnx!
WHOAH! Hoy hoy hoy hoy hoy hoy hoy hoy hoy Whoah!
I’m not long for this world, but this exploration of your culture is a journey of a lifetime. Be well, cherish this fleeting life, and when you eat something delicious, eat an extra for me in my absence.
❤️❤️❤️
I would trade my Florida breakfast for yours any day
It's like watching a magic show! The skills and dedication are amazing!
Something tells me Choudry would eat dessert 3 times a day.
It all looks DELICIOUS! And the skill of the cooks is a sight to behold 😊
Fudge & halwah with all this: Mr. Chaudry gets his sweets at breakfast, too!
Yes brother Chaudary, we DO have the chickpea curry and the halwa in the United States too, we have Everything (Praise God)!!
His enjoyment of food makes me feel so hungry, and is doing nothing for my diet! I mean, who can eat a yoghurt and banana after seeing this delicious looking food!
Breakfast for kings! Love watching these street food videos TPT! Thank you for the super entertaining content! Peace and love to all! :)
Id rather have bacon eggs homefries
@@toyota420xp Mmm that's a good choice too! :)
This breakfast looks amazing! And I can well believe that it would be 24 hours before I needed to eat again. But oh, so worth it. Thank you for sharing!
People don’t realize just how good Indian and Pakistani food is.
My partner is one of those basic American food and nothing else types. She doesn’t like new flavors usually. We just had a great local Indian and Pakistani restaurant open.
I took her to try it. We then went there five times in seven days. She will literally now go there anytime we can afford it. And she’s tried everything on the menu and wants to learn how to cook it.
Halwa, all the different breads, curry, biryani, etc. are all just amazing food that doesn’t taste anything like western spices and it’s all incredibly flavorful, and sticks to your ribs like a good home cooked meal.
I could literally eat biryani every single day and never get tired of it.
You mean "White" people (sometimes) don't know how good their food is, that doesn't mean most other groups of AMERICANS don't know that-because they Do! You guys are noT the "default" human beings or the only representation of what it means to be a true American, so don't talk about people in absolutes like that.
I made the mistake of watching this on an empty stomach. I now have to stop work and go to the restaurant that serves a similar meal. I can taste the puri and halwa now.
That Poori looks like Native American frybread.
Nowhere near it. It is very light and delicate.
Mr. Chaudhary always makes food sound and look delicious
He makes my mouth water 🙏🏻💗
I have never had your kind of breakfast, but it looks super delicious. I hope to try it some day. Especially the chickpea curry. It puts such a smile on my face to watch your channels. Bless you all.
Not sure I could handle curry in the morning but the fritter looks good and I would love to eat fudge in the morning, here that would be scowled at. lol. Mexicans make a thing called a sopapilla that looks like your puri, you pour honey into pieces of it and eat it for dessert. I loved the fried chicken for breakfast.A European on a video saw a Southern American Breakfast and said "you're not supposed to eat fried chicken for breakfast", apprently you are.🙂
I would happily try that.
Mr. Chaudry, your breakfast looks delicious! Do you ever prepare this breakfast at home? Thanks for sharing. ❤️🌹
Fried Catfish, Eggs over easy, Gritts. That is one of my favorite breakfast meals.
😊I had that for breakfast today along with some sliced tomatoes, toast and coffee ☕ I love fried catfish!
Nobody in my country would consider that stuff for breakfast.
That’s a bit nasty. It’s their breakfast What they grew up on
@@beverlygregson4994 I know that. I've been there.
@@beverlygregson4994 He's usually nasty in the comments. Best to ignore him
A real breakfast, Ma sha Allah . I wonder what is the cost of a breakfast like that in USD ?
2 puris, a plate of channay and a plate of halwa should cost about $9-$10 in the USA. About £7-£8 in UK. And the equivalent of $1 in Pakistan
That dessert he has for breakfast, halwa, I had to look it up. The ingredients are similar to what's in cream of wheat, just add a sweetener and nuts and we could eat almost the same thing.
The most I can stomach in the morning is cereal and tea, but it does look good!
hungry now. i just have plain old oatmeal. 😊
Your food looks delicious and is for sure very healthy.
that looks awesome but i thought fudge was like chocolate..atleast here in the usa its like chocolate and dark brown..
Man, that looks delicious.
That Halwa looks delicious! Idk about pickled onions though! 😝
Its not pickled onions as in the Western sense, in vinegar. It's more of a spicy marinade known as 'achar'
That looks good 😊
It looks delicious. Would certainly keep you full and nourished for some time.
Never did a man enjoy a meal more. I could almost taste it through the screen. The chickpea curry I bet tastes amazing. I am very interested in trying Halwa like that. I have only ever had the sesame kind that you buy in packets.
My stomach is hungry now! 🤤
I’m American and a savory breakfast person - chole puri is right up my alley. Throw in a chicken patty and I’m all over it!
I don't eat breakfast, If I did, it would be something like French toast, or bacon and eggs with toast, or pancakes, waffles, hash browns, homefries, etc.
Thats looks delicious!
That's the most delicious-looking breakfast I've ever seen.♥
Hungry now, even tho I'm not a chickpea fan! 😅
Wow! Looks delicious!
Halwa/Channa & Puri - it's the finest breakfast in the world It would be my final meal if I was on Death Row. You do not know what you are missing out on guys! Yes it appears to be a heavy breakfast but remember a lot of these guys are working hard slog in manual labour type jobs. The puris are flash fried in seconds so are quite light and fluffy.
The 2nd item they didnt mention the name - it's a meat filled flaky pastry item called Katlama! I buy in bulk and freeze and reheat in an air fryer to retain its crispiness! I want some right now!
This kind of breakfast is only once in wile. If eat all the time then its a breakfast for heart atack!😅😅
That looks absolutely delicious! I would love to eat that for breakfast.
Yay!! We can have fudge for breakfast!! Woot! Lol. 😂😂
Yum. Your breakfast looks delicious. Better than any of mine. ❤
that's one BIG Puff Pastry. . .
The Halwa is look delicious than the one from food-shop in Europe
I'd love to try it
THAT IS NOT MADE WITH FUDGE 🙄 it’s a dessert made with semolina flour! How is that made with fudge? Are you kidding me? Who’s editing these videos, they should be fired!
Yeah, I tried to explain it earlier as well. By saying fudge, it totally distorts the dish and everyone is now thinking they're eating fudge, when it fact Chaudhary specifically mentions 'Khoya'. I have ha d many issues with the subtitles being inaccurate, which is frustrating for a Punjabi speaker!
The food is delicious. Mmamy sisters at my masjid are Pakistani, these breakfast foods seem healthy.
Life is too short so eat the dessert first.
Looks delicious!
Tribal people play twister pls
Why do you have to make me want some?
What is it that he's calling fudge? It's definitely not the western version of the same name.
It's not fudge - poor subtitles. It's made from semolina, clarified butter, various types of sugar
@@MD-wv7eeso it's a candy of sorts with a fudge like texture?
@@oliviafox6745 No, its not fudge - he refers to it as 'Khoya' & Khoya is dried evaporated milk solids commonly used in sweet SE Asian desserts, and it is made of either dried whole milk or milk thickened by heating it in an open iron pan.
@@MD-wv7ee Thanks for the explanation. I think I may have tried something like that at an Indian or Pakistani sweet shop in Manhattan years back. Was walking by, popped in, and bought a couple to try. You're right about it not being fudge, but it would be hard to compare it with an American sweet, we have nothing quite like it.
The spoons right there...just sayin'
All that fried food can not be good for you. Looks good though. I ain't lying.
Halva is yummy
They need find someone who speaks fluent English to explain what things are and edit the subtitles to make sense, they never make sense. It’s so cringe!
Looks terrible to me. No way would I eat that without a fork. All full of oil, what a mess.
Please let them try boiled eggs
Hard boiled eggs are a regular part of their diet. 😊
Hi
Don't know how you eat that mess
That looks delicious!
