1:23) Same Train departing Simi Valley.
3:15) Same Train Departing Santa Barbra.
4:25) Train #3 - Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #784, with Heavy Horn on 6907 !!!
5:34) Train #4 - Summerland, CA. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #769, with F59PHI #451 in the lead.
6:44) Train #5 - Amtrak #1790 Amfleet set, with F40PH #90230 in the lead.
8:03) Train # 6 - Santa Barbra station. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #777, with F59PHI #450.
9:23) Train #7 - Amtrak Coast Starlight #11, with P40DC #837 in the lead. AWESOME SOUNDING K5LA on this unit !!!
10:31) Same train departing the Santa Barbra station @ 6:03pm.
12:03) Same train in Ventura, ca.
12:32) Same train in Moorpark, ca.
13:15) Train #8 - Simi Valley, ca. Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #796, with Cabcar #6900 in the lead.
13:55) Train #9 Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #1790, with my second favorite P42DC, #164 leading.
14:27) Train #10 - Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #572 again with P42DC #164 leading.

Another great railfanning spot along my most favorite Amtrak route-The Pacific Surfliner/Coast Starlight route. Great train horn sounds which are music to my ears. I travel long distance by Amtrak & when I'm home in the Civilized San Diego area for visits, I travel to & from Oxnard & Los Angeles every other visit home on the Pacific Surfliners. The trip is very relaxing, comfortable & enjoyable, get to enjoy the scenery and not deal with traffic at all.
Awesome!! Man, those 837 rollbys were hardcore! Dude was straight shredding the horn! Wish more of em sounded like 837 does! Always love seeing some Santa Barbara footage too!! ;-)

1790 had 5 Horizons, 1 Cafe Horizon, and just 1 Amfleet Business....rare set....The amfleets suppose to have only 2 horizon coach and a cafe horizon max.....BTW, nice catches Spencer......
Today, that's a normal single level consist.
I would love to take my camera out one night and do some long exposure shots of some of these trains and capture the streaks of the lights as they pass by. Awesome.

I don't never see Amtrak trains, because I live in Indiana. But what's weird, I seen a Metrolink train in Indiana, when they don't exist in Indiana. They exist in Los Angeles, and California. Does anyone live in Hoosier State, and doesn't see any passenger trains?
