I never realized how beautiful Summer Nights’ Anarchy Rainbow sounded. It sounds like something you’d probably hear in a Summer commercial, or if you were dreaming about being at the beach or smth idk.
I really like the themes of the groups and how they relate to the splatfest! The Squid Sisters are dressed to resemble fancy dishes like the kind of food you would eat at a palace, Off the Hook look like they're in a rock band you would see performing at a theme park, and Deep Cut dressed as the tropical fruits you would see at the beach! 😀

I was really intrigued by the Summer Nights versions of Splatfest songs when I first heard them in the game. I was caught off guard at the time, thinking "woah, this isn't the Anarchy Rainbow I know", but hearing that new take on it is very pleasant. I was considering visiting the other two locations to hear the new versions of the other Splatfest songs, but ended up not doing so in fear of losing time for battles. I was kinda worried after the fest that I might not be able to enjoy all of those Summer Nights songs, but this video proved me wrong. Thank you for making this, Caitlin. All of the efforts you have made toward it are really appreciated.

I wish Deep Cut got an actual full choreo like the Swuid Sisters and Off The Hook. The dance moves look cute by themselves but when you see all of it together, they just kinda snap to the next move's animation
Nintendo should keep the Fashion-Change-during-Splatfest thing. I really hope Splatoon 4 comes with a collectors edition that includes the Soundtrack. I knew Anarchy Rainbow sounded more like... well summer. Definitely my Summer Hit 2024. I really like the performances, so I'll rewatch this video on a regular base the next days.

I was so focused on playing that I forgot to check out everyone in game but luckily someone on RUclips did so so thank you for that and everyone’s outfits looks good. In my opinion. I know most people will find the squid sister looks being very weird.
One thing I’ve noticed is that for the Splat 2 idols onwards there’s been an increased effort to improve lip syncing, yet the Squid Sisters still have very obvious cuts to various static expressions. I can’t help but wonder if this is intentional, especially with the context of the final major Splatfest being past, present, and future with the Sisters on team past. Edit: I am aware that Off the Hook also use static expressions, but they seem to have a larger variety and use them more dynamically than the Sisters.
