I love your videos, but the really tricky situation is the isolation of teeth prepared for overlays, that are not really retentive to rubber dam sheets, and getting sheets down them teeth is really difficult
Everything can be isolated. I am not saying it is easy, but there is always a way. I would recommend you watch our advance rubber dam isolation video, where show how to modify a 212 clamp. That is my “to go” clamp for very challenging cases. Thanks for watching
It is water soluble (I use the actual cream, not the gel), I have never had a patient complaint about the taste in the last 20 years. Biocompatible? Well, composite resin, amalgam, chrome cobalt, and many other dental materials are also not “biocompatible”, but they work. This is only in their mouth for 5-10 seconds.
Selecting the correct clamp. Non active clamps are like the W2 or W3 are a good example. But in the worst case scenario, just numb the tooth you will clamp
Yes I do. Enough so the it lubricates the RB, so that it is easy for the septa to pass through the IP contact. Then I rinse it off. It is water soluble so very easy to rinse and it does not interfere with your bonding protocols.
Amazing video, thank you, doc, for your efforts!

@@romerodentalseminars Thank you so much Dr. Romero, I already did, but I will rewatch it again, thanks again for your amazing educational videos.
I'm an Italian young dentist. Is there any chance to make a job experience with you?
We could plan a zoom meeting for sure! Wishing you much success
Doesn't the shaving cream's taste or its non biocompatibility become an issue?
It does have paraben and sulphate ingredients, right?
