I am 29 and when I was younger I was pretty well-acquainted with classic perfumes and I wore them when other girls were wearing Victoria’s Secret or Abercrombie and Fitch. I have always been really intrigued for some reason by Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds and the rest of the collection but I had a lot of negative connotations with it because a lot of the mature women who wear Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds really overdo it. Anyways, when I was 22 or 23 I tried White Diamonds but I was kind of afraid I would smell matronly. Well, I’ve been using Elizabeth Taylor’s ENTIRE collection for a month now AND OMG! That’s the thing I love about getting older and wiser and making it through hard times: one tends to appreciate more complex, multi-faceted, or mature scents AND most importantly be able to appreciate them once you’ve gone through some shit in life, gone through heartbreak, loss, love, you know... it is interesting how fragrance can tell us so much about a person :) Love your channel!

This is the reason I have a bottle of White Diamonds. This reminds me of my mom who passed away in 2006, it was one of her favorites, and the scent LASTS..Even in tropical, humid, asian countries! When I miss her or when I am stressed, I just spray one onto a fan or a hanky, and it calms me down, I feel her presence telling me everything will be alright.
Elizabeth Taylor, she is an icon. Always glamourous, rebel, did what she wanted. Married 8 times. There was no one like her and hasn't been anyone like her to this day. Her perfumes are classic and glamorous, just like her.
Fabulous review! Violet Eyes is my favorite! I wore that one day and reapplied while at the gym...my trainer was blown away at how good it smelled lol. It’s very soft and powdery...really gorgeous! I love that the house of Elizabeth Taylor still puts out new fragrances to this day.
I have her Gardenia - OMW - it’s so authentic! I absolutely love it. Perfect to spritz on after a shower... even if one is slipping between the sheets. It’s perfect because the linens are scented ❤️ I can’t imagine a better Gardenia.
I heard that she used to love Jungle Gardenia perfume. If you ever smelled that it smells exactly like gardenias. So I would assume that her own created gardenia fragrance would be similar. I haven't smelled it yet.
I just purchased Gardenia at a great price just to have a different fragrance in my collection but I didn't expect much from it until the box was opened. Gardenia smelled so GOOD and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised.

@@katiestark3109 Blind buy - not really, unless you are a big fan of 90's fragrances, on the other hand it's very affordable, here in Poland it was like 10 euro a bottle, so in the worst scenario it can end up as high end room/toilet spray :)
I have worn Elizabeth Taylor fragrances over the years, but I never realized there were so many -- especially all those flankers of White Diamonds! I think White Diamonds is MUCH nicer than Chanel No. 5, which to me smells like insect repellent.
Oh if it does work, that would be a nice side effect.. Any experiences out there with Chanel No5 as such? Looking for a luxurious insect repellent... 😉
Great video as always, when you layer White Diamonds with any of the other diamond flankers such as Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, OMG they are amazing. It's like wearing a brand new fragrance and white diamonds can be layered with so many of her other fragrances which are amazing as well. I know White Diamonds smells a little old ladyish but when you layer it with the other fragrances you got a new fragrance that doesn't smell old ladyish

I was so young when white Diamonds came out. Then in my earlier 20’ my sister and I shared the Emerald diamonds, and I decided to try Rubies and Safires. Then Many other came out and so I got my hands on black Pearls wish at the time I was in my late 20’. As a perfume collector I will now get my hands on all if is possible. And because My Memories are so beautiful and Important to me. After Being in a coma and my husband cancer. I learn that your memories if you ever suffer from memory lost . If you see an Elizabeth Taylor perfume at a Thrift Store, Swap Meet or Garage Sale(or on eBay) with the company Parfums International on it, it is an original vintage bottle and is so heavenly! As good as niche for quality.

Parfums International is the original; if the box says 'EA Fragrances Co., that's a high-quality, well-blended reformulation, 2nd to the original (Elizabeth Arden produces the E.Taylor perfumes now). BUT if the box says 'House of Taylor' on the back, drop it & walk away, save your money--it's cheap, chemicall-y smelling crap. Walmart sells House of Taylor gift sets so beware.
I bought Sparkling White Diamonds on Amazon a few days ago. 14.99. I love ET and I wanted a new fragrance that was not expensive, but didn't sell like it was from the dollar store. It arrives next week. I am very exited.

Bless Elizabeth, she made scents fashinable and affordable again. Passion has become one of my favorite scents. I just recently got Diamonds and Rubbies, very nice and im not a big peach person but it works in this scent.
i have 2 of her perfumes forever Elizabeth which is a crispy apple scent with beautiful flowers and musk .in my opinion is similar to Creeds spring flower and the other is Gardenia that is compared to Chanel Gardenia. I do not find them similar as ET Gardenia is a much more green scent .I hate it in the first spray ,the green notes are too intense but after that it transitions to a beautiful floral scent .It is a niche kinda scent and not blind buy safe as I consider the Chanel one .her company produces unique scents that differ from the other celebrity perfumes.

I had violet eyes, it was a beautiful light summery fragrance very unique, I can't find it now. Ialao had the light blue sparkling bottle that was also gorgeous, I have smelt the white diamonds but it seemed far to heavy for me, I might try diamonds and sapphires next. My favorites are White Diamonds, Passion and my definite favorite is Diamonds & Sapphires. Her fragrances are so glamorous, sensual, and sophisticated!
I actually really like most, not all, of the fragrances in the Elizabeth Taylor range. In terms of cost for value I think they are great and they are mostly very long lasting, which is not something I can often say about the majority of Celebrity perfumes.
I absolutely love her perfumes and get compliments on them 😂😂it mixes well with my skin and lasts forever. I know people don’t like them but they’re totally my jam. I have white diamonds and diamonds and sapphires

White Diamonds was my granny's favorite perfume and even when I just see the picture of it, I feel like my granny's hugging me because I just smell it.
I love white diamonds . I bathe with the body wash, apply the lotion, and when all is said and done I douse myself in the perfume. It’s as if god himself created this fragrance as his gift to mankind and I dare say that any man who encounters a woman wearing this fragrance find them simply irresistible. So sad it has been discontinued.

White Diamonds is my signature scent. As much as I've tried so many others and quite expensive fragrances I just can't wear anything else comfortably (if that makes sense lol). Most of the more modern perfumes have that over sweet sickly smell that makes me feel ill. I bought Fracas hoping I'd like it as its floral and one of Natalie Woods faves but really don't sadly. The only other fragrance range I can sort of wear is Chloe which I have 3 different perfumes from their range and don't mind them but never my go to. Does anyone else know of a perfume similar to the original white diamonds I may like please? I really want something different but similar without that cheap sweet smell so many have these days. I like white diamonds always have. In my opinion it doesn’t smell like old lady like some people think. I also like passion and I know that one isn’t too popular but to me it smells so good and when I was younger I was always mesmerized by the bottle
I used to wear Passion in college in the 90’s. I used to get so much attention from wearing it, I only wore it at specific times. It was and still is a head turning fragrance.
I like Sparkling Diamonds, and find White Diamonds (original) too strong (or I sprayed it too much lol). On my wish lists are Elizabeth’s light pink bottle and black bottle (sorry, I forgot names). I like to layer perfumes so I wonder how they will interact with Good Girl, Black Opium etc.

I want to say that people tent to not realized that she was a strong woman full of love and used by many still may she rest in peace teaches woman to love and love. And not be afraid of what anyone said about her! And I was toll she was a loyal friend.
The other day I was smelling old and new scents in a shop. I asked to smell White Diamonds for nostalgic purposes! I was impressed with the beauty of WD. I see it so often I feel I’ve taken it for granted. I’ll be on the look out for a small bottle of WD in the future. Would love to add her to my collection! Thank you for making this particular video!
I had to buy almost all of these since they were really cheap I’ve been a huge fan of her films especially her 50’s-60’s work and I’m reading the book furious love about her relationship with Richard Burton and even though I’m in my 30’s I actually really like her perfumes but I just love old hollywood stories! My grandmother gave me white diamonds when I was a teenager and my life changed after that. I never knew perfume could smell so incredible. Since then I've been searching for other scents to dazzle me like this lol. White diamonds definitely started my perfume addiction

I didn’t know it was this many. Wow I’ll definitely be ordering them all. My son got it for me for my birthday and it dried down on me powdery and smells great. I thought it was an old lady smell till I tried it and fell in love.
White Diamonds my favorite perfume ever! Fell in love with it as a preteen. I'd spray it in everyday in middle school. I'm just finding out about all these other fragrances she has. I'm definitely intrigued and will try some of those others. Any suggestions on which of these are headturners or give the most compliments?

Bless Elizabeth, she made scents fashinable and affordable again. Passion has become one of my favorite scents. I just recently got Diamonds and Rubbies, very nice and im not a big peach person but it works in this scent.
i have 2 of her perfumes forever Elizabeth which is a crispy apple scent with beautiful flowers and musk .in my opinion is similar to Creeds spring flower and the other is Gardenia that is compared to Chanel Gardenia. I do not find them similar as ET Gardenia is a much more green scent .I hate it in the first spray ,the green notes are too intense but after that it transitions to a beautiful floral scent .It is a niche kinda scent and not blind buy safe as I consider the Chanel one .her company produces unique scents that differ from the other celebrity perfumes.
The sparkling version seems timeless - it can be worn today without people thinking you smell like the past

Gardenia is my favorite! It smells beautiful! It lasts long! I've also tried Diamonds and Emeralds! That is wonderful and long-lasting as well! I've recently bought Violet Eyes and Diamonds en Rouge! I love them already!I am in love with the Diamonds en Rouge!

I had violet eyes, it was a beautiful light summery fragrance very unique, I can't find it now. Ialao had the light blue sparkling bottle that was also gorgeous, I have smelt the white diamonds but it seemed far to heavy for me, I might try diamonds and sapphires next. Love Elizabeth Taylor fragrances, I started out with White Diamonds en Rouge, then got the original White Diamonds, then Diamonds & Rubies, and finally Love & White Diamonds, her fragrances have been a revaluation to me due to the price and how long lasting they are. My favorites are White Diamonds, Passion and my definite favorite is Diamonds & Sapphires. Her fragrances are so glamorous, sensual, and sophisticated!
I actually really like most, not all, of the fragrances in the Elizabeth Taylor range. In terms of cost for value I think they are great and they are mostly very long lasting, which is not something I can often say about the majority of Celebrity perfumes.
I absolutely love her perfumes and get compliments on them 😂😂it mixes well with my skin and lasts forever. I know people don’t like them but they’re totally my jam. I have white diamonds and diamonds and sapphires
Today I got my Diamonds and Rubies, oh my god it's absolute intoxicating heavenly paradise... the dry down is divine, it lasts for hrs and hrs... Now I want the whole collection. ❤🌠
White Diamonds was my granny's favorite perfume and even when I just see the picture of it, I feel like my granny's hugging me because I just smell it.

I love white diamonds . I bathe with the body wash, apply the lotion, and when all is said and done I douse myself in the perfume. It’s as if god himself created this fragrance as his gift to mankind and I dare say that any man who encounters a woman wearing this fragrance find them simply irresistible. So sad it has been discontinued.

@@katiestark3109 Forever Elizabeth is a very youthful and light scent. Violet Eyes is youthful, but not teenage youthful (maybe mid twenties on up).
Just bought my first fragrance from her collection Diamonds and emeralds tonight haven't smelled it yet I remember commercials from a child always wanted them! Rest in paradise 😩❤️🙏🏾

White Diamonds is my signature scent. As much as I've tried so many others and quite expensive fragrances I just can't wear anything else comfortably (if that makes sense lol). Most of the more modern perfumes have that over sweet sickly smell that makes me feel ill. I bought Fracas hoping I'd like it as its floral and one of Natalie Woods faves but really don't sadly. The only other fragrance range I can sort of wear is Chloe which I have 3 different perfumes from their range and don't mind them but never my go to. Does anyone else know of a perfume similar to the original white diamonds I may like please? I really want something different but similar without that cheap sweet smell so many have these days. I Love!!! Elizabeth Taylor original white diamonds, it smell so good. it is a strong and lasting perfume that's why you just put it on your pulse points spray twice in the air and walk in it. just lovely i promise you. I will be collecting them all thank you so much for the reviews.

I like white diamonds always have. In my opinion it doesn’t smell like old lady like some people think. I also like passion and I know that one isn’t too popular but to me it smells so good and when I was younger I was always mesmerized by the bottle
I used to wear Passion in college in the 90’s. I used to get so much attention from wearing it, I only wore it at specific times. It was and still is a head turning fragrance.

On my wish lists are Elizabeth’s light pink bottle and black bottle (sorry, I forgot names).
I like to layer perfumes so I wonder how they will interact with Good Girl, Black Opium etc.
Violet eyes the purple one is one of my favorite. Some people classify this smell as my signature smell.

So this video made me blind buy three Taylor fragrances even though I was not a fan of the original White Diamonds, I bought White Diamonds Lustre, Love & White Diamonds and Violet Eyes...scared that Lustre smells a little too much like White Diamonds original, the other two more modern with Violet Eyes in the dry down reminding me of D& G Light Blue, I want to blind buy En Rouge for Christmas, hope I like it, if it smells like the original, I won't...
