I tested the Creed at Nordstrom and it was so delicious but when I asked about the price, I almost fainted. Immediately bought the Dossier dupe. I appreciate the way Creed crafts their scents, all done by hand, so I can see why they charge the prices they do, but I simply don't have the funds for it :( And I've also heard the longevity of Creed's SMW is just not great. For those reasons I chose to get the dossier dupe. I did hear that this year Creed is coming out with a longer lasting stronger version of SMW, so I'll be looking out for that and maybe will buy
Always up for cheaper options. Love the house of Creed but the price they charge for their fragrances is highway robbery. 💰🔥

Hello, I recently purchased a few fragrances from Dossier, this was not one of them. However, I did purchase Armaf Sillage a "clone" of SMW. I have never smelled the original, but was curious for a frame of reference if you have smelled Sillage and how it compares to the Dossier version. Thanks!
Dossier is very high quality. The one I could compare to the original was very close sprayed in the air and almost identical dried down on the skin.
Hey i was looking at this one and thought it'd be great for me but i also saw sea salt by dossier which I've heard good things about. Not sure if you've tried it but if you have, how would you compare them? I really tried to stay to inoffensive and clean smells but i also really like tea smells. Thanks.

I just got a decant of Silver Mountain Water and test wore it. Meh. Not bad but way down the list of Creeds for me. I have full bottles of these Creeds that I all rate higher than SMW:
Bois du Portugal
Aventus
Viking
Green Irish Tweed
EROLFA
Royal Water
And Original Vetiver about the same as SMW. And decants of Royal Oud Millesime Imperial which are better than SMW to me. And a clone of the discontinued Green Valley which is better.

Great comparison brother. Wish I could of grabbed a bottle of it but they have been sold out since about a week ago now. Hope they would of restocked it for BF or CM but ohh well guess I’ll get it later on.

The dossier version misses the briny, metallic note that’s in the original. . . Wonderful clone, though.
