We had a brilliant time in Lugo, its packed with history and amazing buildings. Our little vanlife park up was just a 10 minute from the centre of the city and very safe.
The grand Roman walls encircling old Lugo are considered the best preserved of their kind in the world and are the number one reason visitors land here. Within the fortress is a beautifully preserved web of streets and squares, most of them traffic-free and ideal for strolling, with plenty of interesting things to see (nearly all free) and a terrific tapas-bar scene. Lucus Augusti was a major town of Roman Galicia and modern Lugo is a quiet but engaging city, with a good number of other Roman remains besides the walls.

Ahh Lugo! I traced my family back here all the way back to the 1500s. They later spread to Honduras…now here I am in Florida. Thank you for the video

My aunt lives on la avenida de A Coruña, which is two blocks from the Muralla de Lugo, just outside the wall. I love walking it every time I visit her.
Lugo is one of the most beautiful places we have visited.

Muchas gracias por el video ! Vivo en Lugo, y la verdad es que estoy muy cómodo viviendo aquí. Es una ciudad con trabajo, buena calidad de vida y con buena gastronomía. Está claro que tenemos mucho que mejorar, como por ejemplo la necesaria reforma de ciertos edificios que están en ruinas, pero poco a poco. Un abrazo
