  • A quick comparison between motorcycle stands. These are used to hold up bikes during transport and for storage/ cleaning. I used two different bikes, one with an 18" wheel and another with a 19".

    I have 2 condors and love them. I have them set up so you can unbolt them and take them out of the way in the trailer. They are so easy to operate and the bike locks right in place.

    Wheel dock for me. Built really well, a little pricey well worth the investment. Bike is super secure when its chocked.

    The wheel dock almost looks like a two person job. The condor looks like a better design and pretty straight forward to use. Thanks for the video as I’m in the market for one.

    Never saw the wheel dock before, but I have numerous Condor products and agree - getting the bike out of the cradle takes some effort. Rock solid product, but that’s the drawback. wheel dock looks like a good design.

    The 2nd model didn’t appear to have any adjustment on the wheel lock mechanism for smaller light-mid bikes.

    • @ntucker5000
      @ntucker5000  3 года назад

      Correct. It’s clamping design self adjusts. Condor has a pin that allows movement.

      I have both. The 2nd one has different models for different sizes wheels. You are more limited with the 2nd one if you have a significantly different front tire bike. With that said, the 2nd one is a great chock. Both are nice but I love the 2nd one a little more as the pivot style, such as the condor, can be more tedium getting the bike on and off - especially a heavier bike.

    with the second one could I put in the van bolted to the floor and not use tie downs or is it not sturdy enough?

    • @ntucker5000
      @ntucker5000  2 года назад

      They both have provisions for that. Be real sturdy when bolted down!

      @@ntucker5000 Do you use the Wheeldock more because of that hydraulic assist? Or is there some other reason?
      In terms of build quality alone, how would you rate them?
      Thanks for the video!

    • @ntucker5000

      @@dlmp70 The wheeldock is easier to roll the bike on and off of. Build quality for both is amazing.

      The CONDOR has an available mount (separate purchase) so you attach the mount to the floor with 2 bolts and you can remove the CONDOR by loosening one thumb screw. 😅
