Welcome to Episode 19 of Opera San Luis Obispo's "Memorable Performances" series! In this episode, we travel back to Opera San Luis Obispo's 2019 "Educational Gala"which showcased over 100 local music students, alongside internationally acclaimed vocalists and instrumentalists. Coloratura soprano Dr. Alba Franco-Cancél brilliantly performs one of the most difficult songs in the operatic canon: "Ah! Où va la jeune indoue", also know as "The Bell Song". The Opera San Luis Obispo Grand Orchestra is conducted by Brian Asher Alhadeff.
