Please do more skateboards! I almost want to buy this from you to hang on my wall with all my other boards. Your video is top notch, keep it up and you’ll attract millions of subscribers one day. Also, excellent design on the board and you have great skill!!! Please do more. Such a beautiful work of art.
I’m restoring a Landyachtz switch 2011 with a One Punch Man painted image and hand cut grip tape. Three weeks in, and I’m still only half way through painting…. Such nice work you’ve done here!
Question for Zimo or anyone else: Is this beautiful board meant for use or display only? If it is used, how is the image maintained or protected? Thank you for sharing this piece of art with us!
Spray it a few times with gloss coating spray paint once the art piece is done. It might still get scuffed up, but just redetail the art every few months, and reapply gloss spray paint.
Do you have the steps for what you did? How to sand and prepare top of longboard after removing griptape before applying new griptape? I'm not gonna be removing the graphic on the bottom. I watched a couple videos for longboard restoration. But they were for full restoration. The bottom graphic was removed with some kind of stripper. Then sanded, then wood filler, then primer, and then color. I just need to sand the top and sides after removing my griptape. Had a few questions I was gonna remove my old grip tape and use my razor blade to remove any wood sticking out to nicely even it. Try to remove any griptape still stuck (any chemicals needed)? . What should I use to "clean" the board before sanding it lightly? My question is this: should I get a few foam sanding blocks (80 grit/120/220 and so) and sand the edges and the middle of needed? After sanding should I apply the wood filler first THEN lacquer/wood finish or wood varnish and letting it dry before applying new griptape? What about clear coat? This is only for the top of the board not the bottom. Anyone got some advice please?
amazing work just amazing beautiful keep it up!
