FYI I make some very wrong implications about how to calculate a break angle/the height of the dummy block in this, I also Imply Im routing the break angle in to the neck pocket which on this occasion I will not be. I will correct this in a later video. Please do not follow this video for anything break angle related.

Route a channel, drop in a rainbow line and epoxy over the top? Epoxy seems to be the in thing at the min

Hi David, did you ever do any more on your Dallas Scala amp after part 4?reason I ask is that I have a similar one myself and will be modifying the preamp stage .

Hey bud. I did have an fx loop planned out. And mine is running hotter than i believe the original was. But not really as far as seriius mods fo to be honest. As soon as i get the new work space sorted i was going to treat it to new tolex and more or less just leave it as it is now unless i feel it needs something. I have a set of transformers and a chasis sat there ready to try a scratch build so im looking to move on. Interested to hear what you are thinking of trying though. I could maybe be convinced to dabble. Would be happy to swap notes/photos/diagrams.

@@DavidImrie Hi there.I was thinking about an extra gain stage .like an EF86 or another ECC83 ,the pcb board is a bit of a pain but could get round that I think. Also got a conversion on the go-an old hybrid Italian amp to full point to point valve only along the lines of a Princeton or Supro, will send you some pics as I go along.Like you though I seem to take my time ,lol,so don`t hold your breath,ha ha.Re building (cosmetically mainly )an old Selmer TV12/T,tolex ,etc.cheers

@@meirionlloyd-jones7645 haha cool yes id be interested to see. By all means look me up on Facebook or something. My plan for that, was i took a turret board, took a step drill to it and mounted a 12ax7 socket on it. Was gonna have flying wires to the old pcb
