In Spain we also eat churros as Micaela said. But I think the most common breakfast would be milk with nesquick or more chocolate powders, cookies, a sandwich with marmalade, butter (..), and even bread with an omelette, pancakes and of course an orange juice. I think all this depends on how you have been raised as not all families eat the same, when I was at high school I remember two or three of my classmates who didn't have breakfast as they didn't like it.
I am a Jamaican living in the UK, so these days, I have a quick breakfast of coffee and a fruit or yogurt or sometimes a brioche or bagel. On the weekends, I may have eggs and sausages with toast, or an omlette. But when I lived in Jamaica, breakfast was always a hearty meal, especially on the weekends. Ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings, steamed callaloo with boiled green bananas and yam. So delicious and filling!
In the USA, we have a lot of variety for breakfast. You can have cereal, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, biscuits with either butter and jelly or biscuits with white gravy (usually made with sausage). Plus, you can get breakfast sandwiches like bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits or sausage biscuits. Or fried chicken biscuits! Some people eat steak and eggs. Or you could eat waffles or pancakes. There’s really not much off limits. Breakfast burritos are a thing. Yogurt parfaits and fruit are another option. Donuts and sweet rolls and pastries are all options. Pretty much anything you want. I know people who eat pizza for breakfast. I don’t think much is off limits here. 😃👍🏼❤️
Yes that is what I exactly wanted to explain to Micaela, because I experienced so many breakfast menus in Australia too, so many varieties of egg recipe, sunny side up, poached, hard boiled, soft boiled, scrambled egg and omelet. If you don't like eggs, you can even have muesli, oatmeal, pancakes (even better with ice cream) or pastries (which is apparently Italian taste) It is not limited only to eggs, cereals and flours. Fish (either grilled or smoked), avocado, bacons, mushrooms, beans, salads... I love burrito but I never had it in the morning, it sounds interesting! And I got one comment from Mexico, she said she have Taco in the morning There are so many delicious breakfast in the world, but I am a little bit sad because she wants to have only cookies or croissant in her whole life ahahaha
Mozzarella Girl & Oppa Yeah, there are so many things I couldn’t even begin to list them all. Eggs cooked all different ways are good choices for breakfast here, too. Lots of breakfast casseroles are popular, too. Fish is sometimes an option here, too, but not that often depending on where you live. Breakfast burritos are usually made with scrambled eggs, sausage, and salsa. Micaela might branch out someday and try some new things. People’s tastes change when they get older. I’m not much of a breakfast eater so I see Micaela’s point of view eating something not so heavy. A yogurt parfait with fruit and granola is something I usually like. And biscuits and white gravy might not sound good to you but it is REALLY good. You can even get it at McDonald’s in all the Southern states over here. But McDonald’s biscuits and gravy isn’t that good, in my opinion. So if you’re ever over here, don’t try it at McDonald’s. 😃👍🏼👍🏼
You guys are soo sweet xx I am Italian but living in the uk now.. well, i always thought biscotti and latte was the best jn the morning, until i tried eggs and just try to believe that is so delish! :D
sweet breakfast is actually better for the brain, which runs exclusively on carbohydrates/glucose. if you eat something without sugar, the body has to convert the non-useable energy into useable energy (glucose/sugar) so that the cells can use it. though i prefer fruit in the morning, but maybe ill add cookies and non-dairy milk to my routine haha 🙏🏽💕
but sweet foods are only good for short term. sudden and strong. and sugar and other artificial stuff that makes the sweet stuff eventually have bad impacts to your brain cells so it's not the best way to be smart and work efficiently in a long term. also it is the liver that controls the blood sugar level, so if you eat rice or any natural carbons, which has a small amount of "sugar", liver won't be suffering from a sudden blood sugar rise. in the other hand, if you drink or eat something like coke, it's basically something like drinking alcohol. It ruins your liver. but....I think it is really cultural because, Europeans or other continents work optimistically compared to Asian countries and North american countries. Because if you really use your brain and focus what your doing, you get freaking hungry like per hour. you know..brain uses carbs a LoT. so I think that's why. I read the international comments about their breakfast menu and I guess this is the proven fact. we have this term in Korea, "avoid three whites, white rice, white wheat, and sugar".(we have a lot a type of rices in korea). eating natural carbs is the best. I mean, it's literally natural. so teachers or parents always tell us to eat a whole meal for breakfast if you want a good grade. and maybe because avoiding breakfasts will lead to over intakes at lunch which really not good for your health. (plus because we don't eat two hours like europe does. we have to eat fast.) but well... in western countries carbs are all processed and artificial, isn't it? so I think it would be hard to eat natural carbs like rice. sorry my english is very bad because I'm still a highschool student..
In Tunisia most people have coffee with milk, bread with spread (jam, butter, honey ...) we loooove brioche too We have a lot of other options and EGGS are present most of the times
Hi guys! I'm from Costa Rica and our traditional breakfast is a mix of beans and rice called gallopinto. You can cook it with condiments as onion and cilantro. We eat it with sour cream or cheese, scrambled or fried eggs, tortillas or bread, fried plantains and for drink we have coffee. You can also eat gallopinto for dinner.

My favorite breakfast is french toast. My main thing is I need some protein and Carbohydrate. I guess for Italians it's a light pickup meal full of energy, whereas for us it's a little bit heavier? I heard somewhere that Italians only drink Cappuccino in the morning where people in other countries drink it all day ahaha.
In India there are lot of varied breakfasts depending on the region, in my region the staple one is stuffed breads for breakfast (with different stuffings like potato, cauliflower, onion, radish, cottage cheese, fenugreek or spinach leaves with herbs and spices) but I usually prefer a simple bread and egg omlette. Also, when living in the UK, I became quite fond of the English breakfast. My cousin who's born and lived all his life in Italy (Alessandria) also eats only brioche for breakfast.
In Canada we eat different things for breakfast, but I love sweet breakfast a lot too. I eat waffles, pancakes, oatmeal (during winter), cereal, granola with yogurt and fruit, english muffin/bagel/toast with jam, nuttela or slice cheese/cream cheese. Salty breakfast we eat eggs, bacon sausage, hashbrown or fried potatos, omelette just like Daeho... 😋🙏🏼❤Cookies for breakfast is too much for me, but I am guilty of having cake or chocolate once in a while for breakfast.🤔😅🤣 My favorite is waffles for breakfast with jam or sweet maple sirop. 😋 I'm not a coffee drinker but a lot of Canadians are addicted to coffee they drink a large cup of coffee. I drink water or almond milk with sweet breakfast with salty breakfast I have juice or water.😋
In a hispanic home we have a variety of breakfast menus huevos ala mexicana, frijolitos con arroz , salsa de chicharron etc... love mexican food and we love our coffee to ❤
In Philippines, my country typical breakfast is "pandesal" (Philippine bread), coffee and margarine. Sometimes, we eat fried rice with sunny side up egg and fried beef tapa (beef steak). Sometime fried rice with corned beef cooked with potato and fresh tomato. The best is fried rice with deep fried dried fish 😊
So Cal USA here. Egg, cheese bacon burritos. Bagels and cream cheese. We like sweet too...muffins, waffles, pancakes, cereal... Healthy breakfasts like Acai bowls...Yogurt bowls...oatmeal and fruit...we love a variety for breakfast.
In Canada, we have pancakes, French toast, hashbrowns, eggs, bacon and sausage for breakfast. As for drinks, there's earl gray tea, coffee or orange juice.
No Brasil o cafe da manhã é café com leite e pão com manteiga na chapa (breakfast) mas pode ter um monte de outras coisas, pão com mortadela, pão com queijo e presunto, etc

My Great Grandma was Italian and didn’t speak English at all. I can honestly say, she never ate cookies for Breakfast. However, she’s 95 years old now. What was normally eaten for Breakfast then can vary or be different to what is eaten now 😉.
In india we have variety of breakfast...Different region have different breakfast ...like puri, upma, paratha, roti, sabzi, idling, dosa ....There are many varieties of breakfast...

In the USA we eat cereal, oatmeal, or packaged variety like eggo and yes egg and beacon with sausage etc for breakfast
in Poland, we eat sandwiches, scrambled eggs, steamers or cereal with milk for breakfast. With tea or Coffee. ❤️

In argentina we drink mate, tea, matecocido, chocolatada or coffee and eat medialunas, toast, facturas or cookies.
