Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.

It amazes me how the 'Late Arriver' was literally my family on Sunday. We were late because my sister's jeans were in the dryer, and my dad was out blowing up the tires. How?! 😂

This is the first video in which I can match every character with a relative of mine. Made laugh even harder yet feel more than a bit homesick. Miss my family.
My step-dad is totally “the sleeper”! He once fell asleep at church during communion holding his grape juice and spilled it everywhere as he jolted awake, still claims he didn’t fall asleep!
Lol I believe it. My birth father in church would clasp his hands, put them on the pew in front of us (big and tall guy) and put his head down for most of the sermon. I asked him when I was a kid what he was doing, he told me he was praying. Like a stupid kid, I believed him until one day he started snoring.
He might have had narcolepsy

I am always the Late Arriver. Between my ASD and anxiety about loud gatherings and my ADHD that distracts me, it's a miracle I show up at all 🤦🏻♀️
I am ADD and I hate crowds in enclosed spaces. Somehow, I am able to handle state fairs, though.

My grandpa everytime he's down for a visit is the sleeper BAHAH
Everytime we have to go to a family function my husband feels the need to put air in the tires, never fails. I always allot just enough time for us to drive there but I give us plenty of time to get ready. Why he doesn't fill the tires in that two hour get ready time is beyond me.
The tires are FINE hun, he is procrastinating seeing the family.
You need to " adjust" the time of everything.
If they say.. " be here at 3:00" tell HIM 2 :30 ;)

Tip to everyone ever. DON’T! bring your dog. Never. To anything! It’s extremely rude. Others do not love your dog. Unless he will sit in the corner for 6 hours, leave him home.
Well said. And I love animals. But I don't care how well behaved their dog is, it causes unwanted issues. Tracks in mud, eats grass and barfs, leaves nose prints all over the windows, or worse.... Scratches the windows because it paws at the glass when it wants in., Etc. Etc. the host family doesn't want additional pets, if they did.... They would've went and got one already.

We've bought a house and reno is almost complete but since I'm pregnant and due Nov 30th I really don't want to have anybody over... but my husband wants to host Thanksgiving so he can show off the house... the problem is that I'M the one that does 90% of the cooking and my in laws don't help cook anything ever(they can't cook to save their lives).
Late arriver...a friend who comes every year who shall go nameless. Sleeper, my brother John. Cultured cousin, well, not a cousin, but an old friend who comes who is heavily into eastern mysticism.

I always showed up a little too sloshed but not terribly too sloshed and then I would get my uncle's that don't drink very much terribly sloshed used to piss my aunt's off when I'd have Uncle George out there smoking weed for the first time that year. Lol! After a couple years they came to expect it. I eventually had to start inviting myself lol! They loved it.
