- Following diagnosis with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer, Oswald began first-line treatment with PD-L1 checkpoint immunotherapy. Today, he is cancer-free. #CIM20
On New Year’s Day 2017, Oswald woke up extremely sick. After a week of illness and wanting the best care possible, he left Brooklyn and went to Columbia University Medical Center where he was diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. With a PD-L1 score of 80 percent, he was eligible for a newly approved first-line treatment with pembrolizumab (Keytruda), PD-L1 checkpoint immunotherapy. Almost immediately, he felt different; today, he has no evidence of disease. Now, every day is like a New Year’s Day for Oswald, and he looks forward to dancing in Trinidad's Carnival next year. www.cancerresearch.org/patients

My husband will be going to receive this. In gods healing power i proclaim it. He will be healed. In jesus name amen
My brother want to recieve this immunotherapy for the lung cancer stadium IV, but in my country immunotherapiy very expensive, 80.000.000 for one therapy.,its must every 3 week until 12 therapy
Without immunotherapy....This story would be completely different. Chemotherapy would have certainly made the situation worse! Glad youre doing well Oswaldo.
Thanks for tuning in, James!

Thanks for watching!
I've smoked for alost 6 years... I am 18 right now... I quit several times in between. but recently I'm feeling some issues like breathe difficulty something and cough in my chest for almost a month now ... idk if its because of the cold weather or what. If god gives me another chance I will make the best of my life.. Hope no one goes under this poor mental suffer ❤️ Life is beautiful. Don't smoke it away💔
Smoking will shorten your life, I see young people today lighting up and want to scream at them...With the right group of people, I have taken off my shirt to show them the four-plus scares on just my torso, which total about 48" in length..
Pp
What an encouraging video. Thank-you because I really needed to hear this. God bless you.
Thanks for watching!
About five or six years ago I was on Ketruda for one year, my diagnosis is stage IV Kidney cancer (RCC), hang in there and pray..
Hi Dennis, we invite you to join our ImmunoCommunity and share your story with a wider audience:www.cancerresearch.org/en-us/patients/immunocommunity
This is what my dad has, and it metastasized to his lungs. He just started immunotherapy yesterday. How are you today?
@@E23LiL Good morning Erica, that sticks about dad!!! BUT, I was diagnosed in 2009 when I was 47 and the treatments for RCC have come a VERY long way, so please, never say never.
The immunotherapies will creep up on him and make him feel lousy over time, but they DO WORK.
I have to be quick because today I go for my first radiation treatment...I would never be getting radiation if it wasn't for immunotherapies.
I will replay tomorrow or Saturday Got to go glow now....Keep the faith nd spirit it goes a very long way.
@@dennisadorno6721 thank you for your reply & encouragement. I wish nothing but positive thoughts & success for you & your journey. 🧡🧡🧡
@@E23LiL If your dad can get the original tumor removed by surgery or other means have that done. Some doctors try to make the case that immuno is soooo much easier than chemo, that is hogwash..Immunos will creep up on him, the longer that he is on them the harder the side effects hit.
With that being said I have a very good feeling if he can tolerate them for a longer time the more his own immune system will destroy the tumors...
Also there's a treatment called High Dose Interleukin II (2) These treatments will do A LOT of tumor destruction in a shorter period of time. If he is healthy enough, this might be something to inquire about...This is an old-school treatment BUT does work.
My mother needs this..
I need to show this to my mother, literally the same story.
