- Re-purpose worn-out socks into socka-shaka-gloves which protect the backs of hands from sun damage when gardening and doing other outdoor activities.
Socks are cut into 2 pieces and the toe area is cut off from the lower piece. Two opposite slits are cut about an inch below an open end of each tubular piece of the original sock. The hand is placed through a socka-shaka-glove which fits over the palm and back of the hand such that the thumb and little finger fit in the slit openings and this holds the socka-shaka-glove in place.
Two pairs of socka-shaka-gloves may be made from one pair of socks. Хобби

Thx for the video made me smile after a very long day
Great way to start my day and enjoy another great video From Mr. Kratky himself and I gotta say the socka shocka is a brilliant idea!
Thanks for sharing and as always keep building👍
Hi Professor Kratky, do you have any tips for preventing aphids? My four month old spinach is having a terrible infestation.
Serious admiration for your hydroponic garden.
Shakah, brah! Flashbacks to my time in Pearl. Thanks for continuing to teach.
Hi, I'm just wondering if are you open to a product review? :)
Thanks! Beautiful plants, I just said goodbye to a beautiful tomato plant that had grown so well. The dreaded root rot claimed another causality. :((
🤟🏻🧦 Good one Doc. I often turn old socks inside out and use for dusting, keeping my hands clean. Sacrificing them afterwards but haven’t tried the walk of the truck tailgate yet.
Thank you very much sir please can you tell me is there an organic option for the kratky growing system that we all love💚
I don't have a good organic option, but I know some folks are working on organic fertilization and I will wait for them to post their results. I hope they are successful, because there are many requests for organic options.
😂
